Chapter 4 - Meeting Quake

Natasha knew that this wasn't an easy to complete Quest, but she didn't reject the Quest either. Because it was undeniable that Su Zhan is very attractive. But this wasn't the only reason, Su Zhan was very mysterious in her eyes. So she became curious to know more about him.

Su Zhan didn't go to meet Quake directly after coming out of the bar. He knew that Natasha would definitely follow him from now on and he didn't want to expose his purpose.

If because of his coming in contact with Quake, SHIELD accidentally finds out about Quakes inhuman identity, wouldn't his efforts of following Quake go down the drain? What's more the New York war had just ended and Phil Coulson has not been 'resurrected' yet and so at this time and it was impossible for him to form a team, so he was not in a hurry. Anyway, Natasha won't always follow him right?

Taking advantage of this time, he started to enjoy life. So, from the next day, Su Zhan was behaving like on a vacation and was very relaxed. He didn't have to worry about money anyway. While he was having a good time, Natasha was depressed, it had been more than a week but she had learned nothing extraordinary that could be reported. Su Zhan didn't show his ability and he didn't even come in contact with anyone suspicious. He was acting like a genuine tourist. Although she suspected that Su Zhan was deliberately not doing anything so as to confuse her, but she didn't have more time to spend following Su Zhan while she had other important missions to do. After reporting the situation, she temporarily gave up investigating Su Zhan.

Seeing that no one was following him for past two days, Su Zhan also became a bit relaxed. Although he was very happy during this vacation time, he didn't come to this world to play, at least… this was not the time for him to enjoy.

As Natasha had left, Su Zhan was now ready to get in touch with Quake. These days, he didn't just enjoy himself like on a vacation, but in fact he had been following Quake covertly, and even had short encounter with her once in the coffee shop. He didn't talk much with her after all, Natasha was still there.

At night.

Looking at Quake coming out of a restaurant, Su Zhan stepped on the gas pedal and pretended to be in a state of panic and ran into Quake's car.

"Oh no..."

Quake came out, saw that her home aka car was slammed into by a sports car.

"I'm Sorry, I didn't pay attention for a moment and accidentally stepped on the accelerator. Are you the car owner? I will pay for your car's repair fee."

Su Zhan got out of his car and moved towards Quake and said apologetically.

Quake was a little angry. After all, this car was even her 'home', but when she saw the person responsible, she said unexpectedly: "It's you."

Su Zhan pretended to be awkward and asked: "Do you know me?"

Su Zhan then said: "Yes now I remember, I didn't expect it to be you, it was a coincidence, my name is Su Zhan."

"You are so revengeful, I just spilled your coffee, and now you hit my car." Quake said jokingly.

Su Zhan shrugged and said: "This was just an accident."

"At least you have lost a lot more than me." Quake looked at Su Zhan's sports car, and the damage to it was definitely more serious than her own car. What's more, these kind of sports car are very expensive to repair, and the car repair fee is probably worth more than her own car.

"Do you know any nearby car repairing shop?"

"Let me check."

Quake took her laptop and searched on it. After a moment she called someone, then faced Su Zhan and said " There were no repair shops nearby, but I have contacted a repair shop a bit farther away. Someone should come by later and handle it soon."

"I'm sorry," Su Zhan said apologetically.

Quake shook her head, indicating that there was no problem, but inside she was a little worried as accommodation would become a problem for her now. Looking at her car, it was impossible to fix it in a short amount time. Although she still has some money in her hand, but that much amount can't support her to rent a hotel room till her car gets fixed as rooms right now were very expensive.

Quake hesitated but still said, "Yes, I am homeless, because my home is going to be repaired."

"You live in the car?" Su Zhan was surprised.

"Well, since you are temporarily homeless due to me, give me a chance to make up for it. After all, letting a beauty be homeless is a crime to be condemned. I am temporarily staying at a nearby hotel, if you don't mind I will rent a room for you." Su Zhan said.

Quake then searched on her phone and quickly found the hotel that Su Zhan mentioned, and then said: "It seems that you wanting to help me will not be so easy. The hotel you are staying at, it seems that there are no available rooms there."

"There is not a single room available?" Su Zhan was really surprised this time.

"Obviously, due to the recent alien invasion during the New York war a lot a buildings were damaged and the rebuilding work is still going on. Therefore hotel business is now much better than before. Not only the hotel you live in, there are even no rooms in nearby hotels." Quake was depressed.

Su Zhan really didn't expect it to be such a case, he hesitated but still asked: "Well, how about staying in my room? The sofa at my room is not bad, I think… it should not be a problem to sleep there. Of course, I won't let a beauty to sleep on the sofa."

"This…..."

"Compared to sleeping on the streets, I think… isn't it better to live with a handsome guy?"

The two of them talked for a while, then the people from the car repair shop came, and after leaving their contact information, they dragged away Quakes car. Of course, before they left, Quake went into the car and took some of the essential things, and then warned the people from the repair shop to not mess with the things on the car.

"Let me help you carry those things"

Su Zhan took the initiative to take over the bag with Quakes essential things and took her to the hotel where he lived.
