34 C34 : Nidavellir.

When Nick tried to pick up the hammer, it sparked with lighting before it lifted up from the ground and at that moment his mind, as if by someone elses hand, rewinded back to try time be teleported in front of Felicia to protect her from a hail storm of bullets that would have killed her otherwise, at that moment he showed that he was worthy enough to raise Mjolnir, he showed that he had the willingness to give his life in return for another's without any second thought.

It was also at that moment that Nick realised that Mjolnir was the who decided who was worthy, not Odin or his enchantment.

Nick traced his fingers over the hammer, running them along the engravings, "You're beautiful." Nick said to the hammer as he held it up to the light, the hammer sparked with lighting, happy with Nick's complement.

Nick then admired Mjolnir for a little bit more before he lowered his hand so it was down beside him and he then turned to Coulson who was shocked at what Nick just did, with his mouth wide open.

"Coulson I'm going to be gone for a little while but I'll leave a copy of the hammer here so when a muscular blond haired man breaks in, let him try and pick it up, then let him go after that, it's really important that you do that, it could be the difference between live and death of this planet if you don't do what I say, understand?" Nick asked Coulson, bringing him out of his daze.

"Y-yes, Mr. Stark, I'll do as you ask." Coulson said back.

Nick nodded to him and then looked down at the sand around his feet, "Shukaku make a copy of this hammer and leave it there." Nick said to the sand as he pointed at the place Mjolnir was at before.

The sand then moved by its self and converged on the middle of the creater, and slow the sand formed into an exact replica of Mjolnir, "Good, now make it so no one can pick it up." Nick said towards the new hammer.

If you were able to see underneath of the hammer then you be able to see the stone it was resting on turn to sand and also the bottom of the hammer become sand, with the two points joining together making a tight seal.

Nick nodded his head at that before he looked to the sky and raised Mjolnir above his head, "Heimdall! Open the Bifrost!" Nick screamed toward the sky.

Seconds later a blinding piller of light came crashing down on top of Nick and Mjolnir.

And just as suddenly it disappeared along with Nick, Coulson was beyond shocked this time, he looked around the hammer Nick left behind and hoped to find Nick, but all he found was the markings on the ground the Bifrost had left behind, Coulson worried about what to do next but then he remembered Nick's instructions from before and so he decided to just follow what he said and wait for Nick to come back from wherever he went.

...

Nick landed down on a golden floor, with lighting sparking around him, he looked up from the ground and saw a man with golden eyes in a gold suit of armour and a gold sword that he pulled from the ground, making the lightning stop and the walls stop spinning.

"Why do you know so much about Asgard human? I'm sure we had just become story's on your world." Heimdall asked Nick.

"I know a little bit about the future, you saw my actions from before right? I did that so Thor would still be able to learn his lessen and don't worry I'll return Mjolnir when I'm done with her, Thor won't even know I took her; I don't want to change the timeline too much after all." Nick smiled at Heimdall.

"So you have Asgard's future in mind, but why are you here?" Heimdall asked Nick as he walked down the steps and stood beside Nick.

"I just need to take something from your Vault and then I'll need you to send me somewhere else." Nick told him as he started to walked towards the rainbow bridge.

"What do you plan to take from the Vault?!" He shouted at Nick as he raised his sword and prepared to attack him.

"Hold your horses Goldie, I'm helping Asgard by taking it away, with it in my protection Ragnarok will be prevented and Asgard won't be destroyed in the future." Nick said as he held his hands up in surrender.

Heimdall watched Nick for a couple seconds before he lowered his sword, "You speak of the Eternal Flame, the true power of Surtur, the God of Fire, you'll just get burned so I recommend that you don't try and touch it." Heimdall advised Nick.

"Don't worry I have a plan." Nick smiled confidently, they then walked together, across the rainbow bridge towards Asgard.

...

"Here we are, the Eternal Flame." Heimdall said to Nick as he gestured towards the bright red flame that was in a bowl across from them.

Nick watched the flame crackle and burn the air around it, even though there was nothing in the bowl for it to burn, it just kept burning on by its self without going out, Nick thought it was quite inspiring, that it didn't give up and just kept burning.

"Alright this might take awhile or no time at all, it all depends on what 'it' decides." Nick told Heimdall, he then closed his eyes and opened his third eye, even though it was covered by a bandana it was able to see through it and out at the flame.

'Atlas I need some raw memories that can be rewritten.' Nick said inside his head.

Soon a small ball of light left his head from his third eye, 'Thanks', Nick said inside his head again, he then opened his other eyes and used his third eye to direct the ball of light towards the flame, the ball of light slowly floated down.

It was touched by the flame but wasn't burned by it, the ball of light continued to enter the flame, going down to where the flame burned from, merging into it, becoming one.

Once the ball of light had merged with the Eternal Flame, the flame seemed to change, becoming more alive and life like, the flame started moving around its bowl, curious about the things around it like a new born baby.

Nick had given the Eternal Flame actual life! The clean memory had given the flame a spark of life just like a baby that had just been born, new to the world and ready to explore it and it seemed to be looking for what gave birth to it.

That's when Nick use his third eye to send his feelings toward the flame, he sent his feelings of love and admiration towards the flame, he was hoping to make the flame become attached to him so it would follow him, maybe even see him as it's Father.

The flame quickly became attached to the feelings Nick was sending it's way, the fire rising and falling from excitement as it played within the feelings Nick was sending towards it.

Nick watched as the flame bounced up and down in its bowl, Nick couldn't help but laugh happily at how the flame was acting, but he quickly remembered what he had to do next.

Nick pulled his feelings away from the flame, bringing them closer to him, the flame quickly chased after the feelings wanting to play inside them again, but when it got to the edge of the bowl it stopped, it seemed scared to adventure further then what it knew, but it's play thing was right in front of it and it didn't want to lose that, and so after gathering it's courage and with a great jump the flame hopped from it's bowl onto Nick's outstretched hands, Mjolnir was in one of his other hands.

Nick withstood the pain of his hands getting burned and continued to let out his positive feelings towards the flame as it played in his hands.

Once Nick was sure that the flame was happy he sent feeling of pain from it burning his hands and that's when the flame became small and panicked, it quickly raised it's self above Nick's hands so it was just hovering above them and it then seemed to be looking up towards Nick for confirmation that it did the right thing.

And so as the Phoenix fixed his hands he sent his feelings of love down towards the flame again, making it happy that it did as Nick asked and stopped burning Nick's hands.

And so the flame was once again playing happily above Nick's hands, once Nick saw that the flame was following his intentions he sent down his intention for the flame to move to the top of his head, just behind his horns.

The flame quickly followed Nick's intentions and climbed up Nick's arm and onto the top of his head, this time it was careful not to burn Nick and just hovered above his body.

'Alright Atles, now make a connection between me and the Eternal Flame.' Nick said inside his head again, soon a golden thread of energy left from the top of Nick's head and connected to the flame, the golden energy was covered with the same warm feeling that Nick's positive feelings gave the flame so it readily excepted the golden energy, letting the connection happen without resisting it.

Now that Nick and the Eternal Flame were connected together Nick could feel the flames presence as if it was a part of him, he also felt that he didn't have to keep sending his positive feelings towards it.

Nick closed his third eye and that stopped his feelings from being sent over to the flame to play with, but even after he stopped the flame still acted as if Nick was, Nick had to guess that the flames connection to himself let it feel his feelings towards it and so Nick didn't have to keep sending them over.

Nick let out a breath he was holding and then watched as his hands were healed by the Phoenix's energy that covered them like a pare of red gloves.

A couple seconds later his hands had finished healing and the red gloves receded back into his hands, that's whenNick finally turned back to Heimdall who had a shocked beyond belief look on his face, "What?" Nick asked him, but he said it in a way that conveyed something along the lines of, 'What, have you never seen something like that before?'.

"How did you control the Eternal Flame to such a level?! That should be impossible!" Heimdall screamed at Nick as he pointed towards the flame that was happily sitting on top of Nick's head, between his horns.

"I didn't control it, I asked it to do this." Nick told him as he pointed at his head, "Now we should go, I can feel someone coming." Nick told him.

Heimdall paused when he heard Nick and seconds later after he stared into space he said, "Loki."

Nick quickly grabbed ahold of Heimdall's shoulder and teleported them both out of the Vault, seconds later Loki walked into the room, he didn't even notice the Eternal Flame missing because he was only looking towards the Frost Giants Casket of Ancient Winters at the end of the corridor.

...

"Alright Heimdall this it where we say goodbye, Thor will complete his trials soon but even before then I will put Mjolnir back in place, but right now I need you to send me to Nidavellir." Nick told Heimdall as he patted him on the shoulder.

They were in the Bifrost, Nick was standing near the portal, ready for Heimdall to open it for him.

"Understood, but do you not need me to open the Bifrost for you so you can get back to Earth." Heimdall asked Nick before he put his golden sword into the floor make the Bifrost activate and start turning.

"I have my own ways to getting from place to place." Nick smiled before he was sucked backwards into the portal.

Heimdall watched Nick as he flied through the pillar of light, landing down on a concrete floor with burn marks all around, Nidavellir, that was when he stopped the Bifrost, pulled his sword out and then turned around towards the entrance of the Bifrost, guarding it for what was to come.

As he stood there he thought back to what Nick told him before...

Nick and Heimdall could be seen walking along the rainbow bridge, towards the Bifrost, "How were you able to tell the Eternal Flame what to do? It's just a flame right?" Heimdall asked Nick.

"I just speeded up something that would have eventually happened, especially with this flame." Nick said as he pointed towards the flame on top of his head.

"All elements have the ability to gain their own intelligence after a very long time, the Eternal Flame would have eventually gained it's own but I just helped it along and right now it's like a new born baby, ready and waiting to become attached to the first thing it sees, me, after that I just made a connection with it so no one else would be able to control it." Nick explained to Heimdall.

"I see... but why have I never heard of this before." Heimdall frowned as looked towards the flame.

"That's because this universe isn't old enough yet for any of the elements to gain intelligence." Nick explained.

"Then how do you know this?" He asked Nick as he looked at him confused.

"Haha, I have my tricks." Nick laughed as he looked at Heimdall's confusion and frustration.

...

"So this is Nidavellir." Nick said to himself in wonder as he looked around the giant world he was standing in.

He could hear the sound of hammers hitting metal in the distance.

He looked down at Mjolnir in one of his bottom hands, he then swapped it to his top right hand and held it by the tassel on the end of the handle, he started spinning it around and around, making it quickly pick up speed, "Mjolnir take me to Eitri, I need his help." Nick said to Mjolnir before he released it forward, into the air which made Nick get dragged along with it, in the same way Thor flied.

Mjolnir took him off the ground and deeper into the forge, off to find the king of the dwarfs, Eitri.
