16 C16 : Meeting the Wolverine Part 2

"Alright let's go kid." Logan said as he released his claw's again, holding his arms down by his sides, running off down another one of the corridor's.

"My name's Nick." Nick replied from Logan's back.

"Logan."

Logan was running down the corridor when a metal door in front of them opens, a blonde haired woman with long, sharp, metal nails dashed out.

The very same woman who had been torturing Nick for the last couple weeks; she was now rushing towards Logan and Nick with her sharp nails out, ready to attack them.

"Hahaha, have you come to play with little old me, aren't you just the sweetest, my little blue baby, hahaha!" The blonde woman giggled sadistically as she made a her way towards them.

When she was within range of Logan's claw's he took a swing and tried to cut her in half, but she was able to jump over the top of them both, avoiding Logan's attack.

She then landed in a position where she could attack Nick and Logan's back with her nails and so she springed from her landing spot and drives froward at Nick's small open back.

Her metal nails were center meters away from Nick's back when she suddenly froze, her body shuddered as she took a step back.

Blood dripped down from her lips and after she took one more step back she looked down at her chest where she saw Nick's stinger lodged in the side of her chest.

Nick had reacted fast when he saw her leap over the top of them, releasing his stinger and striking at where he predicted her to land.

Nick took his stinger out of the woman's chest and made a whipping motion with his tail, making most of the fresh blood leave his stinger and he then returned it to his tail.

Logan was used to leaving his back wide open because he knew that his healing would fix any injuries he sustained and so he didn't immediately turn around to meet the attack.

And he wasn't used to Nick being on his back either and so his past habits were still in effect.

If Nick didn't make the first move and take the initiative to attack first the blondes woman's attack would have liked killed him, plus he wanted to get a little bit of revenge for what she had been doing to him.

Logan turned around and stared down at the woman's pale face, she still had a crazy, sadistic smile on her face.

"So you can play rough," *cough, spit* She coughed and spat out bright red blood as she tried to talk, "Hah, if you want too, hahaha."

Logan didn't waste his breath on her and immediately cut her head off with his claw's and he then started to run down the corridor again.

"What's that thing in your tail? It looks a lot like my old bone claw's." Logan asked Nick as he ran, cutting down a locked door in front of them at the same time tanking the bullet's that were fired at him when he rushed into the room.

Logan quickly killed every one he came across and then started run again, but only after he waited for the bullet's stuck in his chest to pop out and for the wounds to heal.

After that there wasn't any signs of more people coming to attack them so Nick started talking again.

"It's my stinger, I was born like this," He said to Logan as he lifted a hand from Logan's chest and put it in his sight, to show he meant his blue skin and four arms, "My teleporting powers only developed later."

"Hmm, I wonder if you are in anyway related to me." Logan wonder aloud.

Logan's thought surprised Nick and also made him think, 'Could I actually be one of Logan's descendents? He certainly has lived long enough for it to be possible.'

"How long have you been alive anyway? You can heal 'extremely' quickly, so you could be pretty old by now." Nick asked Logan as they continued to rush down the corridor.

"You little! *hah* I'm not that old and I can heal quickly because that is my ability. I don't exactly remember how old I am but there is definitely a possibility that you are related to me, if you're stinger is any indication." Logan retaliated when he was called old by Nick but he didn't challenge that he might be related to Nick.

"So where to now grandpa?" Nick asked Logan with a cheeky but still strained smile.

Logan growled at that but let it go, Nick could actually be related to him after all, "Come on Bub, let's get out of here." Logan then cut apart the pipe hatch he had run up to and jumped into it; the pipe was filled with rushing water.

The pipe carried them for a couple seconds until it spat them out from the side of a mountain, the bright sunlight hurt Nick's eyes as soon as they had left the pipe.

But Nick knew this was how Logan escaped before in the movie and so even though his eyes hurt from the sunlight he forced them open so that he could see where he wanted to teleport them elsewhere. When he opened his eyes he first saw a lush green forest, the same forest he was training in before, weeks ago, but that was going to change.

Nick made up his mind to get his uncle to make him some equipment to train his abilities so that he wouldn't have to train out in the open again, so that he wouldn't be where the power houses of this world could get to him easily.

A genius may be talented but that doesn't matter if they can't grow to make use of that talent.

When Nick saw the forest he looked for the furthest point that his current eye sight could reach and teleported them both out of the mountains area, leaving his world of pain and suffering behind them both, hopefully for good.

...

Miles away from the mountain Logan and Nick reappeared in a large cloud of red smoke, they dropped from the air down to the ground; dropping about 5 meters.

Logan was surprised by the sudden teleport but on instinct he landed on the ground in a crouch so that he didn't break his bones, not that he could now.

After landing on the ground, Logan once again got a very nauseous feeling, even though he had teleported before it still made him sick and Nick also had a different method of teleporting then Wrath did and so he had to get used to it all over again.

"You alright? Grandpa?" Nick asked from Logan's back.

"Yeah, Bub. I'm fine, just not used to your version of teleporting, hah, so what's with all the red smoke." *sniff, sniff.* "Smells like sulfur." Logan said after he sniffed the air.

"That smoke is from a different dimension, when I teleport I... "

Nick then when on to explain how his powers work, how he can manipulate an energy from another dimension to teleport and about his eyes, he didn't bother explaining his stinger because they had already talked about that.

"I think I get it but doesn't that mean you have three abilities? How is that possible?" Logan asked Nick as he walked deeper into the woods trying to get as faraway from Stryker's base as they could.

"Mmm, probably something along the lines of a secondary mutation I think." Nick tried to explain, but the truth was that even he didn't know why he had the Byakugan. Nick thought that it must have something to do with why he was reborn into the Marvel universe like he was but he couldn't tell Logan that so he made something up on the spot.

Logan nodded to what Nick said and continued to walk but he stopped when he heard Nick ask him something, "You want me to teleport us again, I think I'm strong enough now."

"Do we have to?" Logan said complaining, whining like a soaked dog in the rain, wanting to be let into the house, "It always makes me feel like I'm on a plane and I 'hate' flying." Logan said as he had a pale face, stressing how much he hated the feeling.

"Haha, don't worry it will be fine." Nick said as he then activated his Byakugan and focused his sight in front of him, makeing it go forward until he couldn't push it any further, his eyes landed on a little farm.

"Alright let's go, hold your breath." Nick said before he teleported them.

"Wai-!" Logan tried to shout before Nick could teleport but it was to late.

...

"-t!" Logan shouted as he appeared in front of a small farm house, red smoke all around him and Nick.

"There, that wasn't so bad was it." Nick asked from Logan's back.

Logan answered with, "I'm going to be sick, hah, your no grandson of mine, hah." He was feeling nauseous again and trying to breath through the sickness, "Hah, make sure you warn me properly from now on."

"Ok, fine but what do you want to do now? Want me to teleport us again?" Nick asked Logan, getting ready to teleport them again.

When Logan looked back and saw the veins around his grandsons eyes pulse he quickly realised this is what Nick had ment when he told him about his eyes so he quickly shouted out, "Wait! Let's just rest in this farm house, it looks like no one's home and I can't smell any recent smells."

"Mmm, fine, I do need the rest if I want to teleport us to a place I have been before." Nick said as he relaxed his Byakugan, making the veins calm down and disappear from his face.

When Logan saw this he also relaxed, he really didn't want to teleport again if he could help it. Logan then walked up to the farm house and tried to open the door, it opened and he then walked in to what looked like a kitchen.

"I guess you wouldn't need to worry about locking your doors if you this faraway from everyone and everything." Nick said to Logan after he opened the door.

Logan grunted to what Nick said and then lifted Nick off his back and put him down in a chair that he had pulled out from the kitchen table with his foot.

"Let me have a look at your wounds, we can fix you up a bit if I can find a medical kit somewhere in this place." Logan said to Nick as he looked down at him.

Nick nodded his head and tried the get the bloody and ripped military shirt off himself, but failed when it became to painful, he saw breathing heavily just from the effort it took him to get one of his arms out.

"Let me help you Bub." Logan said to Nick as he came back with a box with a red cross on it, he then went over to Nick's side and released one of his blades and he then gently cut the shirt to pieces, careful not to touch Nick and hurt him further.

When Logan saw Nick's back his eyes hardened and he couldn't help but release some bloodlust and let out a growl, "That b*sturd, I'll kill him when I get my hands on him!" Logan shouted as he turned back to look at where they came, back where Stryker probably plotting his and his grandsons death.

"Is it that bad?" Nick asked Logan when he heard what he said as soon as he saw his back, Nick hadn't looked at his back yet because he was scared at how bad it could be, even when he activated his Byakugan he only looked forward and not back.

Logan came back to his senses when he heard Nick's question, he looked bad at Nick and at his deeply wounded back, "Sorry kid, I'll fix you up now and then it will be all better." Logan said to Nick trying to not worry Nick by putting on a smile.

Logan then opened up the medical box and took out some disinfectant wipes and a needle and thread.

"This is going to hurt so how about you tell me about yourself, I probably have other relatives out there somewhere but it would be good to learn about the only one I know about." Logan said to Nick as he threaded the needle with the black thread, he wanted Nick to talk so that he would distract himself from the pain but he also truly wanted to know about his little blue grandson.

"Ok, mmm, my full name is Nick Stark, I'm the ..." Nick paused when he felt the needle go into his tender skin, he gritted his teeth and willed himself through it, he only let himself relax a little when he felt his skin being pulled together followed by another prick from the needle.

Nick soon got used to it and started talking again, "... I'm the nephew of Tony Stark, my mother is his half-sister, so you are probably related to me by my mother or father but neither of them have shown signs of being a mutant. Mmm, I'm eight years old and-"

"Wait, you're only eight?" Logan asked amazed, he was amazed that such a young child was so calm in the situation he was in and the things that he had gone through, no normal eight year old was this composed Logan thought.

"Yeah, my mom says I'm very mature for my age." Nick replied trying to play it off.

Logan nodded and then continued to sew up Nick's wounds, he was just surprised and he wasn't that surprise that he was actually eight, Nick did look it after all but he thought that Nick might just be older the he looked, the way he acted helped to cement that as well.

When Nick saw Logan drop his concerns over his age he let out a sigh of relief inside himself, he would have to answer some tough questions if Logan delved deeper and those were answers he would rather keep to himself.

Nick continued to talk about himself and his memories, about what the first thing he saw once he was born was, how his father acted once he saw Nick, Tony making a press release, growing up, learning to use his abilities and his exercising routine, by the time he finished telling Logan his entire life story, well his current life's story, all his wounds had been sewn up buy Logan and then wrapped up with clean white bandages.

"Take these painkillers, they should help with the pain for now." Logan said as he handed Nick two white pills.

Nick used one his top hands to grab the pills from Logan's open hand and then throwed them into his mouth, Nick swallowed them down and then said, " Thanks."

"Your welcome, we'll rest here for now until you are strong enough to move by yourself." Logan replied.

Nick opened his mouth to say something but was stopped when a double barreled shot gun was pointed at the back of Logan's head.

"What the hell are you doing here? And why the hell are you both covered in blood?" A old man asked them from the other end of the shot gun.
