Chapter 112 - New family members

Ade's somber mood quickly lit up and he looked like he was in a flowery field, which caused shivers of fear in Gyasi and Lutalo, as Juma Berta was used to the emperor being this person of easy humor, he only worried when the emperor had the dark mood, obviously, he brought up the subject of the empress to make his mood better.

"Our Empress? When? How? Who?" Major Lutalo asked in surprise, no one had warned about this.

In just two days the Diablo Empire would have a new empress?

Does a compatible recessive omega exist for the most perfect of Zerg Diablos?

Gyasi left the meeting room before Ade started to share the news, he was exhausted. It was almost dinner time, he just wanted to take a shower and go to sleep, he still had to go to the hospital to check on Mu Liang's condition.

Everything was happening in a vortex was it the longest two days of his life, or would it be three days, Gyasi had lost track of time with so much he had to worry about.

"Host, you still have to visit your mother and father too. It's not polite that you just visit your fiancé while your parents are also hospitalized," Gyasi's system reminded him.

"Yes, I know. No need to remind me, Chiku" he said in an even worse mood.

Gyasi has three systems that he uses continuously, Lola who was the living system that commanded his intergalactic ship, Chiku the personal system that went with him everywhere, and the single central system, Saran, inherited from the West Palace which is an of the palaces destined for princes.

The princes' palaces were numerous since in the past there was polygamy and there were many princes, unfortunately, the high death rate of princes made the palaces to be abandoned.

Thanks to a pacifist policy and an administration in favor of the development and welfare of the people built by Ehione, together with the military power that was built by Kayin, the new generation of princes lived well and ended up occupying the palaces, but there were still "abandoned palaces".

In Ade's administration, the empty palaces of the princes are being transformed into places to host the ambassadors of various places in the universe, and in other palaces closer, the streets of the capital have become historical museums rescuing the origins of the Zerg Diablos who had been submerged in the war for many years.

It should be noted that each palace has its own unique system that only the palace owner is recognized as the total master of the system, when the prince retires or changes command is returned to the emperor's central system.

In the case of the concubine's palace, control is partially granted, as part of the control must belong to the emperor's palace system due to possible emergencies and even cases of betrayal, as in the case of Concubine Jang. However, Emperor Ehione controlled broke the rules and gave all control of the Palace of Roses to the concubine.

Gyasi was thinking about his answer to the Duke of Tedros and his great-uncle Marshal Azikiwe, about him becoming tutor to the fifth prince, Rashid. It's not that he was nice or had a great deal of affection for this stepbrother.

He barely knew the 10-year-old, he's been outside the Diablo Empire for most of his a.d.u.l.t life, that is, except for the moment he was forced to attend the child's one-year anniversary and Ade's coronation as emperor, the most recent meeting being dinner a few weeks ago. Gyasi could count on his fingers how many times he saw his younger half-brother during those 10 years.

However, he knew well how easy it would be to influence a child who was betrayed by his mother, to hate the imperial family that would have "abandoned" his own luck, or worse to distort the whole event putting the mother as the victim and the imperial family as a villain.

Then it would be easy to control the child to rebel when he was older, causing confusion within the imperial family which could cause the internal destruction of the current system of the Diablo Empire.

The truth is that Gyasi could not trust anyone to take care of the fifth prince and Ade could not be the child's guardian either as this could indicate that the fifth prince had the possibility of becoming crown prince.

Of course, the nobles would be against it since the fifth prince is the son of a traitor which would generate even more confusion. The ideal would be to leave the child with Kayin or with Marshal Azikiwe, but Gyasi couldn't see little Rashid dealing with so much pressure from these two old monsters, especially with the traitorous mother as a shadow, the child would never feel at ease.

He just hoped that Mu Liang wouldn't be angry with him because of the rash attitude he had.

On the other hand, Mu Liang was facing the confrontation between a small Panda the size of a cat against a small, dark blue western dragon the size of a dog.

Mu Liang would think he was in a crazy dream if Alessandra wasn't beside him right now, he looked at the woman who had a worried face.

"Are you going to explain to me what's going on?"

"As you can see Panda is beating a dragon"

Mu Liang: (...)

"The dragon is the spiritual representation of the sword or the representation he wishes to show us. I can't be sure if this is his real representation." Alessandra after receiving Mu Liang's annoyed look had no choice but to explain.

"And the panda?"

"The panda... Can I not answer?" Alessandra said, averting her eyes from her Host's inquiring gaze.

"It's not an option, they're fighting in the realm of my conscience." Mu Liang was very incisive.

"Do you remember that soul-devouring worm?" Alessandra choicelessly began to speak.

"Why are you talking about this scary thing now?" Mu Liang said feeling his skin turn cold and goosebumps just remembering the image of the worm Alessandra showed him earlier.

"Well, that scary thing is the Panda," Alessandra said pointing to the little panda who only showed cuteness even though he showed his teeth given the bear's small size.

"But it's different from what you showed me before!" Mu Liang said incredulously at what his system was saying.

"Well, I wanted to encourage you to train harder so I used a little illusion about the soul-eating worm"

"But this is a bear and not a worm! The name doesn't match the image!" Mu Liang could not believe this.

"Well, the true image of the soul-devouring worm isn't something you know what it is, so when it manifested here it took the image you knew best, becoming this... Well it could be a tiger but became a panda and I have nothing to do with it"

Alessandra-066 also did not know why the soul-devouring worm chose this form to manifest in Mu Liang's consciousness.

"What is the purpose of him being here?!" Mu Liang questioned urgently, as that was what he feared most, something that could devour his soul.

"He wants you as a master or something, he seems to be very interested in the things the goddess Lan-Lan has given you." Alessandra-066 also didn't know the purpose of the soul-eating worm.

"Can you keep him under control?"

"Yes, I can keep him away from the center of your soul or your active consciousness. Before you ask me, I've already tried to kick him out, but I can't, he seems to be connected to your soul now or trapped in some way."

The truth is that when the new soul entered Mu Liang's body, the soul-eating worm was still in the body, but thanks to the goddess Lan-Lan and her divine items, the worm's body was destroyed, however, the same items Gods built a spiritual body for the soul-devouring worm.

His existence was now tied to the survival of the current Mu Liang's soul, so he was "fighting" with the sword spirit, who was obviously trying to steal his new master's spiritual energy.

"Hey, stop fighting the sword spirit!" Mu Liang ordered the panda. The little panda cub looked at him with big wet eyes, his heart fluttering at the sight of such adorable gaze.

The little dragon snorted and transformed into sword form and sank into the lake with the great cascade of crystal clear water. He looked angry and upset, he didn't want to talk to anyone, or just wanted to be at peace.

Mu Liang didn't know what this strange sword wanted from him and he didn't want to have a conversation that would always end in "Are you my master?", he had a lot to worry about right now. Fortunately, the sword just sounded like repetitive music and didn't seem to cause any problems for him.

The little panda walked awkwardly and then rolled until he reached Mu Liang's feet, the panda was throwing cute at him. The hairy, fat belly up wanting the half-elf to c.a.r.e.s.s it.

Mu Liang's lips twitched at the brazenness of such a dangerous being it was too big, he tried to resist a little, but the moist brown eyes and furry white belly were something irresistible.

"Okay, now I understand what's going on, but Alessandra, what's this huge ball of light above our heads?" Mu Liang asked calmly, but the coldness of his words made Alessandra-066 shiver with fear.

Alessandra-066: How is this my fault?!
