Chapter 438 - Invaded Planet ( 3 )

Wallace wasn't idling here in the city during the past few weeks.

Aside from exploring the city and learning about the Deep Sea Creatures, he started practicing his AOTL since he knows that they are extremely effective against the Yorian Race.

Though they most likely have a level of resistance against lightning, it shouldn't be at such a high level where it could defend against his Lightning Break…

He trusts the Secret Art's power and he couldn't wait to show it to them.

Wallace returned to his room. He was brought here by the leader of the Deep Sea Creature.

The humanoid creature still has an octopus head and they can surprisingly communicate to people.

"Haa… What a weird place… I'll consider conducting research and some explorations here if not for my current situation."

Wallace muttered as he sat on his bed.

His room has a stone bed and one large window, or perhaps, hole on his wall. It doesn't have any cover or even a curtain at all.

Well, he's not expecting a luxurious place of living in this underwater city anyway.

He can see the silent city outside as most of the sea creatures stayed in their homes. This city is using light stones powered naturally by mana so it is quite bright here.

'I wonder how strong these sea creatures are…' Wallace mused as he thought of recruiting them for a moment.

However, he quickly shakes this off his mind since they do have a larger problem right now.

Anyway, he later learned that the reason why this place is silent was because of the Celestial's presence and of course, the Aquatic Alien Race outside.

The Deep Sea Creatures don't have any problems even if they did not eat for more than a week. So staying in their houses tinkering on some stones or other things was their hobby.

He then saw one of the elite soldiers of the Deep Sea Creature… He appears to be patrolling the small castle.

He has a blue trident in his hands as a weapon and is equipped with chainmail. Aside from that, he also noticed that most of these soldiers were actually human-like sharks with muscular bodies.

'Are they perhaps related to each other? They might be able to negotiate…'

Wallace mused.

It is an interesting idea but he didn't give much thought to this since he knows that the Yorian Race should be unrelated to them given that they have come from a different planet.

As he was having some random thoughts about this city, he noticed that someone is approaching his room.

Using his Divine Sense, he could tell that it's the octopus-head leader of this city…

He didn't wait for him to come into his room as he decided to meet him outside. He's hoping that he'll provide good news.

"Sir Wallace, we have tried to attract the Sea Kings but we really couldn't bring them back. I'm afraid that they've also perished after confronting the alien race."

"Haa~ Alright, I'll let him know. In any case, are you sure that the Sea Kings couldn't defeat them as well? He told me that they should be able to give them a good fight."

Wallace replied. He is referring to the Celestial.

Wallace trusted the Celestial a lot so it was quite surprising that this Sea Creature's Leader suggested that they could be dead already.

Anyway, it's not his position to judge him since he hadn't scanned or confirmed the strength of the Sea Kings yet.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Wallace then heard the Yorians again trying to break their city barrier. They are doing this routinely to perhaps scare them or they are truly dedicated and wanted to kill them as quickly as possible.

"Do not worry, Sir Wallace. The barrier protecting us can never be broken unless the Celestial's body has vanished."

The sea creature said as he probably thought that he was worried.

Nevertheless, Wallace replied politely.

"I understand. However, do you think you guys can communicate with them as well… I know that you've seen most of them… They are Nagas and other humanoid aquatic races as well."

"Hmm… I'm sorry Sir Wallace… We can understand their behavior and feelings but direct communication or even negotiation is not possible."

"Behavior, huh… So, are they quite unhappy now?"

"They're not, Sir Wallace. Though they also do not appear to be annoyed by the barrier blocking them. They even feel indifferent about this situation right now."

The octopus-head leader answered. He also appeared to be serious in this making Wallace believe his word.

Anyway, he's unsure about their true purpose for joining this expedition in the first place.

After all, their race isn't one with invasive tendencies. They would normally be happy as long as they stayed within their planet.

'Well, there's no point in thinking about this.'

Wallace said as he decided to continue enhancing his AOTL… Once the Celestial is ready to fight the Yorian King again, he would have to join him in the battle and exterminate them…

Of course, in case his lightning abilities were unable to kill their elite Yorians, he would have to ask ȧssistance from the Deep Sea Creatures to fight them. After all, they can't be underestimated as well since they are still considered the rulers of the sea if the Sea Kings aren't present.

While Ace is busy handling the resistance against the alien races and Wallace is still trapped in the underwater city, something has happened within the Moon Base!

Through the help of Veda and Avalon, they have finally acquired almost all of the remains of the broken spaceships here… Especially the Conqueror Starships!

It means that the Moon Base's shipyard has enough resources to create several more Spaceships!

They no longer need to have their base at Mt. Ravencroft to supply them!

"Avalon! You did great! I hope this can help everyone on land…" Hilda excitedly hugged the Elysium beside her.

[ This was only possible through everyone's effort. I'm sure that once we completed the spaceships, it will be a tremendous help to everyone. ] Avalon answered.

Everyone in the moon base is actually worried about the current situation of the planet… especially their countries. They know that their small number could not affect the whole war but the spaceships can lead them to victory… hopefully.
