Chapter 433 - New Problems

Through Avalon's comprehensive report, they have realized that the aliens have started to expand their operations around the world. 

The Black Sovereign Spaceship and the Invader Spaceships scattered in different parts of the continent would cause a huge problem to them in the long run.

After all, they need a massive army to destroy or fight against a single Spaceship!

Moving such an army would not be easy. There is also a concern that once they have mined enough Memory Crystals, they would start to really target some populated places to hunt the natives of this planet.

It would be a disaster if there's not enough soldiers or magicians guarding a city.

"At the very least, we managed to send some of them away…" Charles muttered referring to the Invader Spaceships that flew away from the Stella Region. 

From the previous seven active Invader Spaceships, only two remained in Stella Region and they seem to be protecting the destroyed Conveyor Spaceships.

[ The Space Beasts inside might still be alive. ] 

"Should we plan for the third offensive? However, we no longer have enough airships and Mech Frames. Most of our one-time Mana Artifacts with destructive power were also mostly used by now. It would take time to reproduce them."

"That's true. We also have to consider the Automatons that were used in this battle… They are an essential part of our offensive as they would allow us to get near the Imperial Soldiers."

"I'm sure that the factories were working twenty-four hours to create them. Even Traceless Hand's factory is creating them. We should have enough Automatons within 72 hours."

The leaders of the country started discussing their plans. 

However, as they were doing this, an earthquake suddenly disrupted them…

"This… It's not a normal earthquake…"

"This powerful aura…"

[ Energy Level: Unknown. Unable to take more data. ] 

"What?!"

Yumi exclaimed after hearing Avalon.

They weren't prepared on facing such powerful creatures yet! They couldn't even fight against the Terubs properly! And now, they have to deal with the Space Beast?!

"Avalon, what should we do? Do you think we can stop them?"

[ Unable to calculate. The Space Beast has just woken up so there is a possibility that is it still weakened. However, even a weakened one should be more than enough to kill hundreds of Khrusams at the same time. ] 

"Ugh… That's not a good sign, was it?" Yumi smiled wryly as she looked at everyone in the meeting hall.

"For now, we should avoid getting in contact with the beast unless we are prepared to die…" Yumi said in a low voice which made everyone agree. 

They haven't seen the Space Beast yet but they couldn't ignore Avalon's warning. If they didn't trust the A.I. for this kind of information, then they wouldn't be able to find another…

While the war in Stella Region calmed down, Wallace was still fighting against the Imperial Soldiers...

He had a really close battle against the Terubs and the Khrusams…

He was able to hold on for about half an hour by focusing on defense. Of course, he knows that he can't continue defending against their attacks as his Astral Energy will be wasted. After all, he formed his Astral Core not to become a turtle but to help him increased his offensive power…

'Tsk… This Death Energy is too annoying… It eats up a lot of Astral Energy to push it back.'

Luckily for him, his Divine Sense is still working perfectly so he's able to easily grasp his whole situation inside the Flagship.

He can read the movement of his opponents… Aside from that, they couldn't use their powerful tech like Subspace Blaster or Psionic Pulse since they would increase the damages inside the Flagship.

Wallace then pulled out his Silver Sphere… He knows that mana spells at the level of Grade 2 or 3 may not do that much against the Terubs, however, he still has some spells that can be useful in his situation…

"Echo Blast… Infrasonic Ray…"

Wallace activated his two signature mana spells. It wasn't a dual casting but a consecutive casting. His activation sequence is quite faster than most magicians so he was confident that it would distract the aliens again…

It seems that they have already ȧssessed the power of his mana spells and calculated that his attack wouldn't do much…

'Hmph! I'm not aiming for you guys anyway…' Wallace then used his Void Phase again but this time, he already wanted to leave this place. He had accepted that he couldn't kill the Space Beast at all!

The Terubs were too annoying that he couldn't concentrate and accumulate enough Astral Energy to disturb the beasts… If he just attacked them halfheartedly, he knows that he wouldn't even be able to penetrate the beast's skin!

In the end, he weighed his situation and decided to move out…

'Ugh! As expected I can't just use my Void Phase to get out!'

Wallace finally noticed that something is blocking him from going out. Instead of going outside, he just arrived at the edge of the Flagship…

There seems to be a barrier blocking anyone from going out. It has similarities with Death Energy so he's thinking that this is some kind of Special Technique made by the Khrusams. However, it doesn't matter, he just needs to destroy the exit! Or perhaps, create his own!

After deciding on what to do, Wallace clenched his fist as he prepared himself to create a path…

Bam! Bam! Bam!

'Ugh! That emptied my mana… I need to get away.' 

Though he probably has the fastest mana recovery ability, his mana pool was still not that large...

Wallace had also felt the presence of the Khrusams coming at him. He then noticed that only one Terub is pursuing him as the two were actually left to guard the Space Beasts!

It seems that they thought that he's just luring them away Well, he would probably try doing that if he has an unlimited supply of mana.

As he quickly dashed away from the Flagship, he suddenly felt the space around him get twisted!

"It's here!" Wallace said as he thought that they are about to use their spatial technology to him, however, a familiar figure came out of the cracked space!

It is the Celestial Being!

"Come here!"

This is the only thing Wallace heard as he was grabbed by the blue Celestial as he was dragged inside the void!
