As the name suggests, the forbidden magic called 'Twilight Invocation: Mana Storm' can create powerful and violent mana similar to the level of Mana Calamity or perhaps, even stronger…

After all, this spell was activated by 500 magicians cooperating in a single goal.

Whoosh~

A huge wave of mana threw off the Imperial Soldiers and even the Marauder Gears and Mech Frames near the ground were caught in the disaster…

Crack! Crack!

The Mana Storm continues as the trees including the ground lifted…

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The chaos created by the spell was incredible… About 300 Imperial Soldiers were caught in that attack…

Finally… The magicians from Virgan have some time to breathe. They were already losing hope when they realized that their Grade 1 to 3 Mana Spells were unable to even dent their armors, however, it seems that they just have to use some combination spells to increase the power of their attack to defeat them…

"Attack!"

Fehrad commanded his team and charged towards the immobilized aliens and finished them off.

They are already injured and their bio-armors were heavily damaged. It would be easy for them to deal the finishing blow.

"12-Waves Echo Punch…"

It is a simple Grade 2 spell with many variations. It is not meant to destroy the armor of the enemies but to target the person inside.

This spell damages their opponents' internal organs and effectively killing them. Even if they somehow managed to survive, there was no way that they would still have enough strength to pose a threat to them.

Their pacing is going well…

On the other side of the battlefield, the automatons of Maja managed to fight against the aliens with equal terms after using a Forbidden Spirit Art…

The "Mana Haunt: Life Drain" targets a whole area and disturbs the spirits of all living things. The Imperial Soldiers has greatly weakened and were unable to fight back at all.

Perhaps, if they can continuously cast the spell,  the war will be an easy win for the magicians. Unfortunately, learning the forbidden spells takes a lot of time, and not even every magician can pull it off.

Aside from that, those who finished casting the spell would receive a backlash… In short, they will be incapable of combat for quite a while, which is not a good idea in this kind of war.

"This-- Not even those spells are enough to kill these invaders… Just how strong are they?"

"Don't give up… They're still alive but it's just because of their unknown armors."

"Focus! Don't waste your energy chatting! Just listen to your commander's instructions!"

The Mages couldn't believe how the aliens were still able to survive with those two spells.

If they were inside the Life Drain and Mana Storm's area of effect, they would surely die even with the highest rank of Mana Artifact they have.

This is why many of them were surprised about how tough they are.

"This is going well… However, the Terubs and most of the Khrusams aren't making their move yet…"

Ace touched his chin as he commented on the current state of war. It looks like they are at advantage but he knows that the aliens still have a lot more to offer.

"Hmm?"

Avalon suddenly highlighted the attacks made by the Cryptic Mages against the Khrusams that are moving in the mining site's direction…

"They used the Corpse Furnace!"

The young man saw that black energy appearing from the furnace. They were used by the Cryptics and not the Khrusams!  The energy successfully targeted the Khrusams including the marauder gears behind them… They must've been surprised by that!

At first, he was a bit worried that the aliens would be able to control the Death Energy they have released but it appears that they couldn't freely do so.

"Incredible… I wonder how Miya and the others did it."

Ace mused after seeing its effectivity.

These Aliens were supposedly sent to Earth to raise awareness to people and make them Veda's experiment… Ace didn't think too far ahead about the ȧssistance they could provide in this war.

However, it just happened that the things they've collected from Omen were still quite useful.

They still have plenty of mind stones with them and they can finally be put to use. Ace didn't care whether they would be all consumed in this war since this thing shouldn't really exist on this planet.

He ordered them to use the stones as they see fit as long as they could fight the aliens.

"Avalon… I want to see the effectiveness of the Mind Stones against the Imperial Soldiers. Focus on them."

[ Affirmative. ]

The A.I. has been switching the highlighted video based on what it deemed to be a crucial part of this war.

Finally, Ace saw the group of armored Arians. They are wearing their space combat suit as it helps them filter the surrounding mana.

Apparently, though they managed to get help from Veda to get used to the surrounding mana, they still have to lessen the intensity of it.

It is perhaps similar to the Imperial Soldiers that's why they can't remove their armors yet.

Ace then saw a wand or perhaps staff being pulled out by the Arians. He can easily see an embedded Mind Stone at the tip of the weapon…

They were able to get near to the spaceships thanks to the luring that the army has done for them.

"This…"

As soon as the Mind Stones were activated by the Arians, it created a blinding light in the surrounding area. The light doesn't appear to be harmful but anyone who could see that light seems to create a simple effect of hypnosis…

Even Ace, who's only watching from afar felt a bit of this though he managed to quickly wake up from it…

"Mind Stone… Just what kind of power is this?" Ace felt a little lost.

It seems that he really has to remove all kinds of alien things after this war. The secret of mana is already enough for this world.

Ace smiled wryly as he looked at his window… His spaceship is still on its track and on its way to Earth and it will probably take a day before could reach its orbit.
