Chapter 417 - Lost Contact

Most of the leaders present were surprised except for Yumi and Charles who are already aware of their visitors for today's meeting.

'An alien, huh… This is getting more interesting than I thought…' Hayden Fraser looked at the armored alien standing in front of them.  ​​

'So, we will get some help from another alien race? I guess it's not a bad idea.' Hallgrim surveyed the alien's body and confirmed that his senses couldn't really penetrate it even if they are already this close.

'Sir Karfu? I didn't think he already learned how to speak fluently… As expected of a race from a different planet. They can learn really fast.' Aaron mused. He already met with the groups of Arians who were sent here by Ace. After all, his Lucent Force was part of their securities at the start of Ace's project to experiment on them.

It was only after Veda fully took over the project that they were reassigned to a different task.

On the other hand, the others also showed their surprise but one could see traces of a smile on their faces. 

They realized that if they would be getting help, it is indeed not a wrong decision to consult them.

Everyone here knows about the organizations or powers in the galaxy thanks to Avalon and Veda who were extremely helpful in sharing information they got from these Arians. 

Of course, they heard that they also got some information from the records that were said to be found in the northern continent related to these aliens.

They know that the Meredith Empire who are attacking them have three other Major Races they were allied with. 

As for the Arians like the one in front of them, they were part of the Minor Races or those weaker beings that has to be subordinate to the Major Races of the galaxy and could never hope to stand equal with them.

They then heard Charles explaining the situation.

"Just like what you've heard, he is from the Arian Race, a Minor Race in the galaxy and previously working under the Meredith Empire until Wallace took care of them. For the Second Offensive that will happen three days from now, their small group will assist us in this battle. I know you have many questions, but please wait for now until we finished discussing what they'll do to help us…"

Charles said as he looked at the other leaders. After seeing their nods, he allowed Karfu Malthu to continue.

"Destroying their Spacesh.i.p.s using external means is close to impossible unless you have plenty of spacesh.i.p.s at the level of Blaze Battleship… Unfortunately, mass-producing such battlesh.i.p.s is not easy even with all the resources that Wallace has. It takes a lot of time to make and it's better to focus on small battlesh.i.p.s and Mech Knights since we will not even go to a space battle…"

Karfu started speaking in the fluent language of this world.

Anyway, they have already realized this fact as well so they just remained silent and waited for his next words.

The number is low considering there are 7 Invader Spacesh.i.p.s and 3 Conveyor Spacecraft.

"With that in mind, our strategy for the Second Offensive will be different, we have confirmed that these aliens were in search of something and they landed on places where these 'things' were abundant. Our strategy this time is to bring the fight on those places so the aliens wouldn't dare to use their Positron and Hadron Cannon to obliterate us."

Karfu paused for a moment to let the others think. He continued after confirming that everyone is listening…

"This is where our help comes in… We brought an item from our home and we call these things Mind Stones… Through Veda's help, we managed to find a method on how to use them in a better way..."

The Arian said as he signaled to one of the escorting magicians to bring the suitcase he's carrying.

The magician placed it on the round table and opened it in front of them.

The Mind Stone came from Omen IV. During their transport here, Ace similarly sent the precious materials or items in the Omen like Mind Stones, hi-tech weapons and accessories, and even a copy of their A.I.

Ace knows that the war against the Empire is dangerous so he has decided to keep them safe on the planet. 

In the end, his decision was right as the Empire has probably recognized that the Arians have betrayed them and angrily rammed their Black Sovereign on it.

It seems that Wallace was truly in control of everything. They were thinking that he had calculated this since the beginning! This is why he decided not to kill the Arians and use them instead!

Ace was taking a rest in his room at the Moon Base as he knows that he'll be very busy again after a while.

Unlike Wallace, he doesn't have an astral or celestial-like body so resting is important to him. 

However, as he was about to fall asleep, he heard Avalon's notification. 

[ We have lost contact with Investigator Elysium 3 ]

[ Reason: Unknown ] 

"Hmm… What task that Elysium has taken?"

Ace lost his sleepiness after hearing the report. Losing contact suddenly without it being able to pass information to the network was quite bizarre. 

Unless it was taken out in a blink of an eye, this incident shouldn't happen at all. At this point, he wouldn't believe that it's a signal issue or a malfunction.

Then, he heard Avalon's answer...
