Chapter 365 - Confusion

Akhsar wanted to clear his doubts from the news that Wallace told them so he asked a few more questions.

"Are they aware of our current situation?"

The young man looked at the leader of the Terror Mages. The man still doesn't look well even after receiving medicines and even health potions. 

Due to the modifications on their bodies, normal treatment isn't that effective on them… Wallace took note of it before answering his question.

"No… I think that they are convinced that all of you have sacrificed your lives for them to learn the extent of Alien's power."

He answered truthfully. His conversation with the council made him aware that they were already planning to do something against the spacesh.i.p.s even without the Terror Mage's help…

It appears that Seiji and its allied countries were just truly curious about the power that the aliens could release after landing on this planet.

They were fully aware of the casualties that could happen or the lives that could be taken. However, they are willing to gamble on it so they can take the spaceship's technology and other resources.

He explained to them the plans of the Council.

"What? They want to take the spaceship for themselves?"

The remaining Terror Mages were all citizens and soldiers of the Seiji. Their loyalty remains the same and they wanted to help their country defeat the invaders.

Anyway, he hadn't provided them his Mana Artifacts and advanced tech weapons yet… They can still back out if they wanted since he doesn't want to force anyone into helping him. 

They would have a choice on how they would want to fight the Aliens…

In the meantime, he returned to one of the secret rooms within the island and decided to watch how the Seiji's Allied Forces would fight against the Empire…

He ordered Avalon to intensify its monitoring since he has a bad feeling about Seiji's plan. After that, he also ordered the A.I. to connect him to Veda.

While Wallace and the others on the surface were dealing with the Empire's Vanguard that descended first on the planet, Ace continued observing the Imperial Flagship's entourage as they orbited without taking any actions…

They were perhaps monitoring the performance of the Invader, Conqueror, and Conveyor Spacesh.i.p.s that were first sent…

It was a good move for them and this is what he didn't want to happen. After all, this means that they were not feeling threatened by their forces in outer space so they dared to remove some of the battlesh.i.p.s that are protecting the Flagship.

'No… Are they trying to bait me?'

Ace was a bit lost in thought… The five Conqueror Starsh.i.p.s are nowhere to be seen, several spacesh.i.p.s had also descended to the Magic Earth…
