Akhsar wanted to clear his doubts from the news that Wallace told them so he asked a few more questions.

"Are they aware of our current situation?"

The young man looked at the leader of the Terror Mages. The man still doesn't look well even after receiving medicines and even health potions.

Due to the modifications on their bodies, normal treatment isn't that effective on them… Wallace took note of it before answering his question.

"No… I think that they are convinced that all of you have sacrificed your lives for them to learn the extent of Alien's power."

He answered truthfully. His conversation with the council made him aware that they were already planning to do something against the spacesh.i.p.s even without the Terror Mage's help…

It appears that Seiji and its allied countries were just truly curious about the power that the aliens could release after landing on this planet.

They were fully aware of the casualties that could happen or the lives that could be taken. However, they are willing to gamble on it so they can take the spaceship's technology and other resources.

He explained to them the plans of the Council.

"What? They want to take the spaceship for themselves?"

"I-I can't believe this… I'm sure that Veda already informed how powerful they are."

"That's right… There's no way they'll fight the Alien Empire after seeing their destructive power."

"Haa~ They might have another trump card that we're not aware of… I think we should observe their actions for now."

The remaining Terror Mages were all citizens and soldiers of the Seiji. Their loyalty remains the same and they wanted to help their country defeat the invaders.

However, if they acted on their own, they might be a nuisance to their plans.

"We need to contact them and learn about their plans first…"

"No… I think we should remain here and just observe… We should've died in that place if not for the Sir who saved us… I think it is better to follow him for now until we fully grasp the situation."

They all have varying opinions so Wallace left them for now and told Avalon to let him know once they reached a conclusion…

Anyway, he hadn't provided them his Mana Artifacts and advanced tech weapons yet… They can still back out if they wanted since he doesn't want to force anyone into helping him.

They would have a choice on how they would want to fight the Aliens…

In the meantime, he returned to one of the secret rooms within the island and decided to watch how the Seiji's Allied Forces would fight against the Empire…

He ordered Avalon to intensify its monitoring since he has a bad feeling about Seiji's plan. After that, he also ordered the A.I. to connect him to Veda.

While Wallace and the others on the surface were dealing with the Empire's Vanguard that descended first on the planet, Ace continued observing the Imperial Flagship's entourage as they orbited without taking any actions…

They were perhaps monitoring the performance of the Invader, Conqueror, and Conveyor Spacesh.i.p.s that were first sent…

It was a good move for them and this is what he didn't want to happen. After all, this means that they were not feeling threatened by their forces in outer space so they dared to remove some of the battlesh.i.p.s that are protecting the Flagship.

'No… Are they trying to bait me?'

Ace was a bit lost in thought… The five Conqueror Starsh.i.p.s are nowhere to be seen, several spacesh.i.p.s had also descended to the Magic Earth…

'This is perhaps their weakest lineup. However, they should know that Providence and the other magicians were still present and roaming around. They can't be this careless… Haa~ Perhaps they're just confident that we won't be able to do anything on them?'

It wouldn't be surprising if they are thinking that way… They have perhaps made a countermeasure against their surprise attacks and annoying restrictive mana spells…

'Let's just wait a bit more… I need to be patient…'

Ace said to himself as he tried to create a plan on how to force these invaders to land together… He clearly recognized the trouble and headache they can give if they decided to land just everywhere on the continent.

[ The Captain of the Providence wanted to speak with you. ]

Avalon suddenly notified Ace…

The said mid-tier battleship was still not docked on their Moon Base to avoid getting noticed by the Empire's forces… They are still on standby and in their invisible mode not too from the moon.

The currently assigned captain of this spaceship is Jared Faust… He's not a new person in his crew as he arrived on the moon base on their second recruitment process…

"Sir, everyone has recovered, there are no serious injuries anyway. May I ask what's the situation? We have closed most of our sensors aside from the ones powered by mana…"

"I understand… The Imperial Flagship is still orbiting the planet. We are to wait until they decided to descend…"

"Are we not going to fight?"

"No… It's difficult… We lost the Excellence… The Providence alone would bring us a lot of problems if they decided to use their full fighting force."

"Very well… The supplies here can last us for more than a month. So I think there shouldn't be a problem."

"That's good to hear, Jared… Tell the engineer to properly maintain the Mech Knights, in case we need to do an operation we'll consider whether we can get some help from a few units."

"Got it…"

Jared replied as he reported that some of the Adept Mages had actually acquired parts of the Dragon's Warrior Mech! They just found out about it a couple of minutes ago and immediately contacted him…

At first, they thought that it was just a destroyed part of their Mech Knights but as they investigated further, they realized that the structure was completely different from what they have.

But it turned out to be a core of the alien's Mech Frame that failed to explode when they attempted suicide…

"Great! Let Avalon take a look at it…"

[ I just received their report. I'm working on it now. ]

"Alright… I'll leave it to you…"
