Chapter 133 - Dave Returns To The Destroyer?

Graduation tests began, and Briston Gal High School was completely quiet at the moment. Not because none of the students were in the school, but because all the students were working on their test questions with full focus.

Every day, Dave is the one who gives Rey answers to his test questions, who happens to be sitting in the chair directly behind him. Rey is indeed having a hard time doing the test questions, because to be honest, Rey has a poor brain capacity to memorize all the subject matter. Or maybe Rey is just lazy about studying.

Unlike Dave. From the start, Dave was known for his cleverness. Even the teachers at his school were sometimes surprised by Dave. Normally, a rebellious student like Dave would be terrible at his studies, but Dave was different. Despite his attitude like a delinquent at school, he has very high marks in every subject matter.

Dave kept giving Rey answers to each test in a different way. Dave really never ran out of ideas. Also, he was never caught by the teacher who was in charge of watching the students during exams at all while giving Rey his answer.

Rey even said that in a little while he would be gay and fall in love with Dave. Even though Dave knew that Rey didn't really say that, it still felt like Dave wanted to hit that idiot guy's face against the wall at least twelve times with all his strength.

The last day of the class promotion test was over. That way, they will stay waiting for the announcement of who will take the remedial test, while their scores will not be revealed until the day they take the report card and accompanied by the announcement of the student with the best score whose parents will be called to the stage.

Until that day, Briston Gal Private High School has yet to give its students a day off because there will be class meetings, a kind of competition between classes in various fields that can be competed.

Starting from academic-based competitions such as quiz, to athletic-based competitions such as football matches between classes, basketball, badminton and so on.

Jean is in charge of registering who wants to compete in the competition between the classes and what branch of competition they want to participate in.

Dave lets Jean write his name in whatever competition she wants Dave to enter and chooses to go to the warehouse behind the gym to have a quick smoke.

Rey was with him enjoying the smoke from their respective nicotine sticks. Since the incident that made Dave's name rise and became respected as the person who should not be provoked in the school, the warehouse behind the sports hall has never been visited by students who want to skip lessons. The reason was, they indirectly assumed that the warehouse was Dave's throne, they didn't want to bother Dave if they wanted to smoke there.

The warehouse was like a private place for Dave, even though Dave never asked for it at all. Dave also never objected if there were people who also wanted to skip lessons at that place, as long as they didn't bother him if they were there too.

Rey looked around. "Dave, how about we make this place over? I mean, remodel this place."

"Remodel?"

"Yep, just make it nice to hang out. Later tonight I'll invite people to clean this place, maybe I'll add things like a sofa ... Oh yeah, the billiard table sounds good too. What do you think?"

"Just do what you want, I don't care." Dave replied with an unconcerned look on his face. For him, any place does not matter as long as he can enjoy the nicotine smoke which is has been his addictive thing in his daily life.

Rey also smiled and assumed that Dave had agreed. He had already imagined how this very rotten and worn place would be a very interesting place to skip lessons.

Even though it was still useless in Dave's eyes.

They continued to enjoy cigarette smoke together. Dave's cell phone vibrated from the pocket of his pants, but he chose to ignore it because he knew it must be from Jean asking where he was now.

In the midst of the quiet time they were enjoying right now, Rey brought up a topic that Dave was quite interested in hearing about.

"Dave, have you heard the news that seven school gangs will join forces to attack here?"

Dave stopped when he was about to re-smoke the cigarette which was right in front of his mouth. "No."

"As I heard, the seven school gangs that make up an alliance, they are all after you. You are their only target."

"So?" asked Dave, trying to remain unconcerned about it.

"And I also heard that they also hired some thugs to beat you up."

Dave exhaled the cigarette smoke from his breath slowly. "When are they gonna do it?"

Rey also puffed nicotine fumes from his mouth, forming three donuts that floated in the air. "This afternoon, after school hours."

Dave nodded a few times and it was quiet again. While Rey was waiting for a reaction from Dave, Dave didn't even show any reaction. Dave's expression was still calm as usual, even though Rey had said that he was the target of seven school gangs at once.

Rey turned, "Should I report this to Martin?"

"No need for that."

"Wait ..." Rey looked incredulously at Dave. "Don't tell me ... do you want to fight them all alone?"

Dave blew nicotine fumes from his breath as he looked up at the ceiling of the old building. "Not really."

Now Rey is even more confused about what Dave really wants. "Then, what are you gonna do?"

Dave threw the finished nicotine stick on the floor and stomped it on the shoe he was wearing to extinguish the burning coal. "Call Thoriq. I want to know, whether our school gang that he has been proud of is really useless or not."

Rey frowned when he heard what Dave said, "Isn't our school gang indeed useless? I mean, of all the school gangs around this area, only our school gang has never been active in the war between school gangs."

Dave took another stick from his cigarette pack, sandwiched the cigarette filter between his upper and lower lips then burned the end with a lighter, inhaling deeply before blowing the smoke into the air. "Have you ever heard the word 'Party'?"

Rey furrowed his brows. "Party? Do you mean, political party? Or maybe house party?"

"No. The Party is another term for fighting between schools. Like a secret code among the school gang members. The difference is, if a brawl is identical to a mass fight and there is no rule to bring any weapons. Unlike the Party, usually each school sends four to six people and each person will fight one each people from the school gang they are going to attack. So, the Party uses a point system. The school with the most points is considered the winner. Also, within the Party there is a rule not to carry any weapons, in other words, it is hand to hand combat. One versus one."

"Is there really something like that?" Rey asked, felt a little surprised by what Dave said. If the person who said that was not Dave, Rey would have taken it as a ridiculous joke that even made him unwilling to laugh even if it was just to appreciate the joke. "How come I never heard of it before?"

"The tradition of the Party has been a long time ago, who made the tradition is popular is Pagundi Luhur High School and Kanisius College, or now it has changed its name to Gonzaga College. And until now, Party traditions still exist, but not everyone knows."

Rey nodded understandingly, but there was still something that made him curious. "Then, what Thoriq had to do with that?"

Dave puffed nicotine fumes into the air. "Thoriq is a transfer student from Gonzaga. Or you could say, he was expelled from there because one of his opponents during the Party suffered a disability for the rest of his life."

Rey also rounded his eyes perfectly. "Is the Thoriq really that strong? Why when I fought him, it felt like he was an ordinary opponent? Even I felt that his fighting ability was below average."

Dave smiled. "He must be giving in on purpose."

At first Rey wanted to ask how Dave knew about it, but his mind was distracted by another question. "How do you know Thoriq?"

"When I accompanied Jean to the bookstore to find the book he wanted, we came across a convoy of XCN gangs who were waving war flags to all the motorcycle gangs in the area. And I saw Thoriq coming with them."

Rey also changed his facial expression to be full of emotion. "Oh, so he's one of the fucking XCN bitch? Just wait, I'll slaughter him later."

"No need for that shit."

Rey turned back to Dave. "Do you want to hold me back again like before?"

Dave shook his head slowly and went back to smoking the nicotine sticks that had become an addiction in his daily life and then exhaled the smoke of pleasure for him into the air. "You don't need to bother. In the fight, I'll create a situation where he can't escape. So, he'll be slaughtered without you having to intervene."

"Why do you suddenly want to destroy XCN too? Didn't you choose to leave the gangster world by leaving Destroyer?"

Dave changed the intensity of his gaze to be very sharp and a very thick killing aura could be felt by Rey.

"Last night, Derek contacted me. He said, if I still don't want to join XCN, then he'll be targeting my family."

Hearing this left Rey speechless. On the one hand, he was completely terrified by the killing aura emitted by Dave. Rey realized, if he faced Dave in a fight when Dave was like this, Rey would be picking up his own death. But on the other hand, Rey wants to smile as wide as he can, because Dave, the boy who is rumored to be the legend of the Destroyer gang, looks like he's coming back.

Rey couldn't wait to see Dave again on the battlefield, and also entered the same battlefield with Dave for the first time.

It seems, in the future, this will be very interesting.
