Chapter 14：CHAPTER 14 : PLEASE TREAT HER LIKE YOUR OWN DAUGHTER

That afternoon, Caren picked up Megumi from aunt Qing place, they went to the near department store to buy some nice cloth for Megumi. Caren was very busy picking some dresses and blouses for her, she was very proud she can dress her up well and use her dad's card to pay them all. Megumi was very happy, she could have some nice cloth to wear now. When she left Japan, she just had one dress and two T-shirts also one trousers. Megumi was very thankful to Caren and Doug for buying her some new outfit for her. Now, Megumi and Caren were close to each other. on the week end Caren asked Meg to sleep together with her and sharing some stories together.

Josh was very happy to hear that good news from Meg. Now, he won't worry for Meg until new year. Meanwhile, Josh called his mom week before he went home. He told her about Megumi, his mom was happy to hear that she would have companion, she's very welcome Megumi.

Four days before new year.

Caren :"I don't know, I don't have mom since I was a child. Are they like some warm for their body ?"

Megumi :"Ah, it's a good idea ! Maybe she likes some fragrance tea ? Or I should buy a scarf ?"

Caren :"You can buy both !"

Megumi :"You're right ! I want to buy some tea for your dad also. Does he like tea ?"

Caren :"Yeah, he likes it."

Megumi :"This time let me pay by myself OK ? I've got some money from helping aunt Qing."

Caren :"OK as you wish !"

They bought a lot of stuff, their both hands were loaded with carried bag now. Suddenly two men took their bags from backward. They got surprised, they thought they were thief, they almost scream but when they saw it was Josh and Hawk they heaved a sigh.

Caren :"I thought you were thief ! Why did you come from our back ?"

Josh :"Hahaha... we had saw you shopping for a while, we just wait here in front of the market. When we saw you were struggling to carry your bags we decided to help you both. We know women always like shopping, so we didn't want to disturb you."

Megumi :"Well, thank you for helping us carry our bags then. Caren, I think we need to continue shopping then ?" She teased the men, she squinted her eye to Caren, Caren understand it.

Caren :"Oh yeah, I think I haven't finished shopping."

Josh and Hawk :"Oh nooo....!"

Caren and Megumi laughed out loud and walked away left them. They just went to buy some street snacks for the men, then they went back to the men.

Caren :"We just wanna thank you for helping us carrying our bags, here are some snacks for you. Now let's go home."

Two days before new year...

Josh picked up Megumi at Doug's house, he helped her carry her luggage and bag.

Megumi :"Thank you uncle Doug for letting me stay at your house for a month. You're so kind to me just like my own dad. Here I have some tea for you, please take it as my gratitude to you."

Doug :"Thank you Meg, don't bother. You always welcome here anytime."

Megumi hugged Caren

Megumi :"Thank you for being my good friend, back then in Japan I had no friends at all. Here I have a little gift for you." She gave her a crystal bracelet. Caren's eyes were sparkling, she never expected before.

Caren :"Thank you, it's beautiful ! But wait a minute, I have something for you too !"

Caren ran to her room for five minutes then she got back. She gave her a necklace, it was gold. Megumi was surprised to see it, she hesitated to receive it.

Caren :"Here take it with you !"

Megumi :"No, It's too valuable for you !"

Doug :"It's OK Meg, just take it, Caren was sincerely gave it to you !"

Megumi took it happily, she smiled and hugged her :"Thank you ! I will go now. See you all again soon !"

They waved good bye to each other.

Josh and Megumi has arrived at Josh's house. His mom welcomed them and she had prepared them some meals.

Josh :"Mom, this is Megumi, Meg this is my mom Jenny Wu. Mom, from now on please treat her like your own daughter !"

Jenny :"Don't worry son. I will !

Megumi :"Nice to meet you Mrs. Wu."

Jenny :"Wait... what had you called me ? Call me mom my child !"

Megumi smiled and nod :"OK mom." Jenny hugged her and cares her hair.

Jenny :"Good girl ! Nice to meet you too my daughter !"

Josh was very happy to see their good start.

Megumi :"Mom, I have something for you." She opened her bag and pulled out a box.

She gave it to her the wrapping box.

Jenny :"What's this ?"

Megumi :"Just open it, I hope you'll like it."

Jenny opened the box, she saw some tea and a silk green scarf with peacock design on it.

Jenny :"Wow, it's very beautiful scarf, thank you my child ! Hmm you know I like tea the most, did Josh told you ?"

Megumi :"No,he didn't tell me. I just random guest."

Jenny :"Anyway thank you Meg for giving me wonderful gifts, I don't have anything for you."

Megumi :"It's OK mom. I'm very thankful to you for accepting me as your child. I'll try to be your obedient daughter mom."

Jenny :"I'll be looking forward to it my child. Now you can place your things in this room, and this is my room. Josh will stay together with me. I miss you my son ! Can you go home not once a year please ? How about twice a year ?"

Josh :"I'll try mom, but you know I have to safe my money for you too !"

Jenny :"OK, I understand. Now let's eat and have a rest. I've prepared some food for you."

They were preparing for the new year's fest all day. And they pray together at the temple at new year's eve. Megumi tried to adjust herself with the new tradition. Josh met Phil the next day, they laughed together and he introduced Megumi to him as his adoptive younger sister.

Josh :"I'd like you to meet Megumi. She's my adoptive sister."

Phil :"Oh adoptive sister ? Hi, I'm Phillip, I'm Josh best friend. Nice to meet you !"

Megumi :"Nice to meet you too Phil."

Josh continued having chat with Phil for hours, they missed each other a lot.

Phil :"How did you met her ?"

Josh :"I met her while I had project in Japan. She was alone and got bullied by many people because his father was a murderer."

Phil :"Oh I see, so you pitied her ? How old is she ?"

Josh :"About seventeen years old. So, how about your marriage life ?"

Phil smiled :"It's great, I've got a lot of lessons from her, she is very concern wife. We sometimes argue to each other but, we could settled up again."

Josh :"How about your mom ?"

Phil :"In the beginning there were some arguing, but it was the process for us to adjust to each other. Now, my mom even love her son."

Josh :"How about you, when will you have your own child Phil ?"

Phil :"Hahaha... soon..."

Josh :"Don't tell me you haven't touch her ?"

Phil :"Hahaha... of course I have. We had romantic night almost everyday."

Josh :"You do it everyday ???"

Phil :"Of course not ! Maybe one a week maybe twice a week. But she told me, she's not ready to have another child with me yet. Well, time will tell when."

Josh :"Well, good for you then. Just give her some times to adjust to your mom. Was it good to have sex ?"

Phil :"It's very amazing ! You should try it too Josh hahahaha... So when will you get married ?"

Josh :"Hahaha... still a long way pal !"

Josh went back to his house that night and he showed Megumi around his hometown. He told her to get back to school again. She agreed with him. Josh had spent a week vacations on his hometown, now he got ready to get back to the city.

Josh :"Mom, Megumi I'll be back now. Take care you both well. If anything happen just call me OK ?"

Jenny :"Don't worry my son, we will always contact to each other."

Jenny hugged him and kissed his forehead, then he waved good bye to both of them.
