Chapter 240 - Don’t Tempt Me

When Li Qin Yao walked out of the bedroom, she found Zhang Yu Han in the kitchen preparing breakfast for them. As if sensing her presence, Zhang Yu Han turned around and smiled.

"Good morning," he greeted. Zhang Yu Han put down a bowl on the table and walked over to his wife to help her to the table. "Did you have enough sleep?"

"Un." Li Qin Yao nodded. She looked at the food in the table and instantly, her face brightened.

"I went out and brought some dumplings and hot soybean for you," Zhang Yu Han said. He kissed her on top of her head and sat down across of her. He handed her the utensils and watched as she ate the dumplings happily.

After breakfast, Zhang Yu Han cleaned up the table and sent his wife to the living room. Then, he set her ŀȧptop on the table and put a jug of water and glass near her.

Because of the injuries on her ankle the other day, Li Qin Yao had decided to stay home to recuperate while delegating most of her work to Liang Sheng and the others. Anyway, Liang Sheng can send her e-mails and she can deal with most of her job from home.

"Don't forget what the doctor has said," Zhang Yu Han said when he walked out of their bedroom in his work attire. "You should let your feet rest. Don't put too much pressure on it or else, it might worsen. I have already put everything you might need near you, so you don't need to move around too much."

Li Qin Yao continued to nod her head as she listened to her husband's nagging. When she turned to look at the coffee table in front of her, Li Qin Yao could see that Zhang Yu Han had prepared a few light foods for her to snack in as well.

"I will come back later and bring back lunch," Zhang Yu Han continued. "So you don't need to go into the kitchen."

"Un. Un," Li Qin Yao nodded again. "I know. Hubby, thank you."

Hearing her call him hubby instead of his full name like she usually does, Zhang Yu Han paused. He walked over to her side and bent down to kiss her on the lips. But once he got the taste of her lips, Zhang Yu Han found that it was hard for him to stop. Suddenly, their kiss deepened, and Zhang Yu Han pressed her against the sofa.

When he finally had enough and pulled away. Zhang Yu Han realized that Li Qin Yao was lying down on the sofa and she was staring back at him with a dazed expression.

Zhang Yu Han took a deep breath before he pecked at her lips. "Qin Yao, don't tempt me."

Li Qin Yao bit her lips as she listened to his hoarse voice. "I didn't do anything," she said as she blinked her eyes innocently. She did not know what she had done other than sitting on the sofa and watched him as he was getting ready to go to work.

Hearing her answer, Zhang Yu Han leaned in to bite her under her collar bone, causing her to hiss in pain. When he looked up again, Zhang Yu Han had a satisfied smile on his lips as he watched the reddened spot.

"I should go now," Zhang Yu Han said as he reluctantly stood up. He pulled Li Qin Yao to sit down properly on the sofa and pressed his lips on her forehead.

"Zhang Yu Han, don't forget that dress," Li Qin Yao said before he walked to the door. "You said you were going to take them to dry cleaning."

Zhang Yu Han turned around to pick up the burgundy red dress laid on the sofa. He stared at the dress for a while longer and heaved a long sigh.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Zhang Yu Han tore his gaze away from the dress and looked at his wife. "I was lamenting that I did not get to have my way with you while you were still in this red dress."

Li Qin Yao watched her husband speechlessly before lowered her head shyly.

After that incident with Chen Hao and her swollen ankle, the two of them were too tired that they went to bed after they had a quick supper and cleaned up themselves.

Anyway, even if her husband wanted to have his way with her… Li Qin Yao knew that she could not really do anything as she was in period.

Leaning forward with a teasing look in her eyes, Li Qin Yao then said, "I can always wear them later for you to see."

A wide smile appeared on his face. "You said it."

Suddenly, Li Qin Yao was regretting her decision to tease him.

Once Zhang Yu Han entered hs Cayenne, he did not drive over to the company, but instead, towards the outskirt of town where a huge mansion stood. A guard stopped him at the post, and let him in when he gave his name.

After a few minutes of waiting, an elderly man with sturdy build walked out. He gave Zhang Yu Han a look before he walked towards another room. Tacitly, Zhang Yu Han stood up and followed the elderly man to enter the room.

Zhang Yu Han walked into the spacious look that resembled a dojo and turned to the elderly man. "Granduncle Qi." He greeted.

"Your grandfather did not come along as well?" the elderly asked. Though his hair has all turned white, his voice was still energetic.

"He still has to work."

The elderly let out a chuckle. Then he turned to Zhang Yu Han and motioned his fingers to him.

Knowing well at what the elderly meant, Zhang Yu Han threw his coat aside before he lurched forward with his punch. His attack was quickly blocked by the elderly man and this attack and defending act lasted for almost five minutes before Zhang Yu Han decided to end it.

Clenching his fist tightly, Zhang Yu Han lurched with another punch. However, just before his punch could land on the targeted spot, the elderly had caught his hand and pulled him forward.

Suddenly, Zhang Yu Han felt his body flipped in the air before he landed on the ground. Zhang Yu Han frowned at the sudden pain but quickly stood up again to bow to the elderly man.

"Granduncle, your strength is just as good as usual," Zhang Yu Han said.

The elderly chuckled again. "I'm already this old, do you think I did not know my strength? You don't need to go easy on me next time."

Zhang Yu Han smiled at his words. "But Granduncle, I'm impressed that you still have the strength to flip my body over."

The elderly snorted. "I don't need your sweet words. I heard from your grandfather that you might need our help. What is it? Just speak."
