"The gang huh," Tale smirked.

Su Yan shrugged before laughing at the remark.

.

The night market, just like the name entails was simply traders who came out to sell out their stock left over from the days work. Prices were slashed almost down 80% just to get people to buy things off. They were mostly thrifted clothings and antiques or as it's called here 'okrika' items but that was the fun of it for Tale and Precious as they got to the market keeping Su Yan right in their middle.

"You two know you are half my size right and do not exactly look like my body guard in any way shape or form," Su Yan felt the need to remind them.

"Keep quiet and follow our lead or you could get robbed," Tale replied.

"As expected, I left all valuables in the car," Su Yan said proudly.

"What other valuables do you have?" Tale asked confused, remembering they left the house with almost nothing other than money.

"My..."

"Ssshhhh," Precious cut him off. "Say nothing, ears everywhere,"

"Let's shop!" Tale announced. People were starring and have been since they got down from the car. As usual they wondered what a foreigner was doing there.

They had only gotten to the first store when two traders carried their goods to them.

"Madam you no go buy for your oga?" They asked Tale in pidgin language trying to persuade her to get Su Yan something.

"Leave us alone!" Tale screamed almost angrily at them.

"We know wetin we wan buy, Abeg leave us alone," Precious felt compelled to add, more angry than Tale had sounded and with that they left them alone.

"What was that about?" Su Yan asked.

"They see you and believe you should have a trailer load of cash to buy out their entire stock is all," Tale explained. "If you are uncomfortable we can leave," She added. Precious who was listening waited on his answer too.

"No way, let's do this," Su Yan said happily. He may never experience this again and tonight might be his one shot. He shopped designers only back home, stores would close for hours just to let him pick out his items. Tale didn't care about designers and the obvious reason could be because she couldn't afford it but it wasn't that. He knew people who lived well above their means and running into debts chasing after the "fine" things of life. Tale didn't care, she could be looking at a Rolex and it wouldn't mean a thing to her. To her it was just a watch, a beautiful watch. He knew because she had said exact words about his.

This was way beneath his station and his family will cuss if they found him in a place like this, but what was their life. The faces here had smiles on them, selling and buying and lots of people talking all at once.

"Su Yan look," Tale held up a worn out denim trousers, "what do you think?" She was smiling like she really just attained something so monumental.

He thought she could do better. "No way," he replied after studying it.

"What? I fought for this," Tale said sadly. Precious's voice rang out loudly as she argued with another customer for a short.

Tale laughed. "It's literally a jungle out here as you can see, if you don't feel comfortable —"

"Stop," Su Yan took the trouser from her and threw it back into the pile as he dragged her along to another stall selling slippers and shoes.

"Let's do this!"

Moments later Precious had a bag filled with clothes and belts, most of which she had to wrestle for, so she was sure she got all the good stuff, Su Yan had managed to snag two good tank shirts, Tale on the other hand had gotten just two slippers and a vintage Louis Vuitton bag, Today wasn't her lucky day with clothes, a few she had later liked were too big for her. She was a skinny girl after all said and done.

"Wow Su, you got some good stuff." Precious complimented him a she went through everything as Su Yan drove out of the lot.

"Did you have fun?" Tale asked anxiously.

"Well I certainly did fit in after that guy was about to take what I had picked out," Su Yan shook his head remembering it.

Tale laughed as she was there when it all happened, she would have spoken up but Su Yan defended himself quite well. The look on the other mans face was entertaining enough for the night.

"You've created a monster girl!" Precious added

"You are welcome world," Tale screamed with her head outside the window of the car.

Woo Jin was waiting patiently on the front steps of the house when they arrived. He realized he now had three people to actually worry about. They were now all equally important, the only difference was one of them had a family that could kill him if something were to happen to him.

"Hey bald man!" Tale hailed from the car. Woo Jin had shaved his hair off again the day before. She wasn't going to let him live it down. He looked like a monk that went rogue.

"Hey chicken little," he picked her up when she came to stand in front of him trying to reach his head to pat it.

"Su Yan help," she pleaded amidst laughter.

"I was starting to worry though," Woo Jin dropped a happy Tale down after they all walked in.

"Of course you were, sorry dad," Su Yan patted his back mocking him.

"Don't patronize him," Precious defended. "Now I'm hungry, all the fighting and dragging for outfits has me weak."

"Fighting for clothes?" Woo Jin frowned.

"We went to a night market," Tale furthered explained what it was all about.

When Su Yan took out the tank shirts he had gotten Woo Jin was beyond surprised.

"Are you really going to wear that?" Woo Jin asked in Mandarin.

"Yes I will," Su Yan replied. He knew the reason his friend was asking.

"Wash it before wearing and it's all Gucci trust me, why did you get two though?" Tale asked noticing they were similar.

"One for me and one for you, since you always take what's mine anyway," Su Yan said almost shyly.

"Aw, how—"

Woo Jin took the one Su Yan had stretched out to her before she could take it. "Sorry Tale," he held it up before throwing it over his shoulder.

Tale refused to argue with him and let him have it.

"This means war though Woo Jin, war!" Tale said again.
