124 The Other Transmigrators

Today was the first official day of the school. Linri dressed in his usual clothes and had breakfast together with Kris and Riku. Jaime was also there but she seemed angry with him and ignored his presence altogether. He did not think he was in the wrong so he was not going to apologise to her. Anyway, she would forgive him eventually. I mean who could resist his charm, right?

This was an important day for him as it signalled two things. First of all, today was the day he would learn whether the other transmigrators attended the school or not. Assuming they avoided yesterday's calamity today would be the day they finally start attending. He had to meet with them and learn about their goals. Did they want to go back or did they want to start over a new life in here? He was not an idiot. Not everyone had good lives and they might actually prefer living in this world no matter how dangerous it is. I mean for one it was much less monotonous. That was ignoring the sweet abilities you had.

Secondly, they were going to vote for a class president and he wanted that position. In the grand scheme of things, it wouldn't really be important but the original Linri was the president so he wanted to be one as well. He still had that obsession with following the events from the club.

Well, to be fair the class did not have much of a choice back then. It was either the naive Linri, crazy Kekkei or creepy Yukio.

When the trio arrived at the classroom Linri looked around trying to see if there were any transmigrator he could recognise. His eyes settled on a boy with green eyes and spiky brown hair. He was wearing a green jacket. Linri immediately sat next to him.

"Hi there Kou. How are you?" This was Kou. He was named after his creator Kou_the_mage.

"Do I know you?" Kou looked uninterested. Now that was rude. But that was his character. He was a wind mage so like the air he was detached from the world. You could not call him an airhead but you couldn't say he wasn't one either.

"Yeah you do, my name is Linri but maybe you know of my other moniker Kasaix?" Kou turned to face him. He looked surprised.

"Wait who did you say you were?" Kou could not believe what he just heard. All this time he had thought he was the only one here.

"Kasaix, Gendor is here too" Linri said while pointing at Kris who was giving Kou a smug look. The first time he met Linri, he was just like him so it was fun to see others react like this for a change.

"Hi" said Kris while making a little wave motion with his hand.

"Really!" Kou gave an excited exclamation and held Linri's hands. Ugh. That was uncomfortable. The guy's eyes almost became stars.

"Calm down dude! I don't swing that way" Linri said while freeing his hands.

"Oh, sorry. So how did you come here?" He looked dejected a little. Was it weird that he ignored Linri's remark?

"The same way as you, I suppose. We got done in by our characters and woke up like this" said Linri casually. He wasn't really worried that others would eavesdrop on them as they wouldn't be making any sense of what they had just heard. Also, they were all trying to make new friends on the first day of the school so who would any attention to them unless they wanted to join the conversation.

"Oh" Kou looked in front of him. It seemed like he was expecting a different answer so he was disappointed. Did he really have to be so disappointed? Wasn't that the answer he should have expected instead?

With Kou being confirmed that made a total of four transmigrators. There were still at least four more people out there. Linri was even doubting there might be a fifth. Both Kris and Jaime said they only saw eight people but he could swear that there was a ninth person there. Anyway, it wasn't important he could solve that mystery when they all have a talk together and talk about their experience.

That was quite a distinct clicking noise and if Linri was not wrong he was sure about from what it was coming from. He turned around and looked towards the door and the click noise gradually got higher and higher. Eventually, there was a person in front of the door with a cane in his hand. He was wearing a black hoodie so his face was obscured but you could still see his white hair that was peeking out from the edges. His eyes were closed and from the cane, it was obvious he was blind. That should be Forneus, Zena's RP character and Brie's future boyfriend. Most importantly he should be another transmigrator. As for his ability just think of him as the daredevil.

"Zena! Over here!" Linri yelled at him. Those who were having a discussion in the classroom turned towards him for a second but when they noticed Forneus was blind and he was just calling for him they went back to what they were doing.

Zena, on the other hand, walked towards them and sat beside Kris. He seemed calm unlike when he first met the others. So either he already expected this, or he was really good at hiding his emotions.

"And who might you be?" he asked. Well, I guess unlike them he couldn't identify others from their appearance.

"I am Kris, in other words, Gendor. The one in front of you is Kasaix/Linri and Kou is sitting next to him" said Kris while holding out his hand. Forneus shook his hand after folding his cane.

Well, that was a good sign. At least for the foreseeable future, they were going to be allies. Linri was still doubtful about their IRL personalities so he was not ready to trust them fully yet. I mean how can you know a person just from talking behind a screen? He already made a mistake by expecting too much from Jaime once so he was not going to make the same mistake again.

That was when Brie walked inside the class. She was rubbing her eyes. So that was why he couldn't see her in the cafeteria this morning. He wondered why Jaime just didn't wake her up. Brie looked around the classroom, she saw Linri but seeing that there were no seats available around him she just found a random desk and plummeted her head on it before starting to sleep once again. I guess this little loli still believed that she was going to grow up if she took a healthy dose of sleep.

Okay with Forneus all the transmigrators from freshman class were almost complete. There was only TBB's character left. Aside from Drake, TBB's character, there was Rondo a sophomore and Jin a senior. With them, all the transmigrators should be accounted for.

Speaking of the devil, Drake walked in through the door. How was Linri sure he was Drake, you ask? Well, obviously because of the dragon tattoo in his hand. Linri could not remember where he was from as he was not a walking encyclopedia but Drake's clan should be a family of Dragon Descendants and just like almost everyone here, Drake was the heir to the clan. However, he did not like it as he was a rebel. Still, he was stronger than the others of his age in the clan since his bloodline was that of the Destruction Dragon race and he had explosion related powers. Meaning even if he didn't want to unless someone stronger appears he had to shoulder the mantle of the clan head.

"Hey TBB" Linri called out as usual but Drake did not turn towards him. He did not even give any indication that he was being called. Did he get the wrong person? It shouldn't be possible. The hair and colours of his clothes matched and most importantly he had a tattoo on his hand. He wanted to talk with him but before he could walk up Ms Snow came in.

"Okay, everyone sit down please" said Ms Snow with her trademarked lethargic voice. Don't be deceived by her appearance. According to that bastard Luxor, she was a master manipulator and most of the threatening events in the school were because of her. Luxor even once hinted that she might or might not be part of the Renegades.

"Anyway I am Annabell Snow and it seems like we are stuck with each other for the remainder of the year. Blah Blah, this or that. Any questions?" Linri didn't think that you were allowed to use blah blah as a real word. At least not when you are supposed to welcome them to the school. Half of your student base already left. Shouldn't you be more doting towards the rest?

Natsumi raised her hand. She was a freshman too.

"Okay, I see that we have no questions. Good. So we are going to vote for a class president and afterwards, you are free to go. Any volunteers?" Did she just ignore Natsumi? Lady, I can tell that you don't want to be here but you can't just ignore someone and act like they don't exist. Look at her! She is still raising her hand like you just didn't notice it. If you don't pay any attention she might start jumping up and down soon.

Linri and two others raised their hands. Linri looked towards them and thought they should be Kekkei and Yukio. Well, at least their appearances matched up.

"Okay come forward and make your speeches" Linri confidently walked towards the board. He was sure that he would be picked because he was the only 'normal' person among the trio.
