Chapter 131 - Albion

"Riassss~! Onii-sama missed you~."

Just as Rias and others teleported to Underworld, they heard a loud shout of a man. Looking in the direction from where the sound came from, they saw a redhead – like Rias – running towards them, tears falling from his eyes.

He jumped and tried to hug Rias, who swiftly moved to the side, making the man fall on the ground on his face.

"Please behave Onii-sama. You are the Maou. What will others say if they saw you like that?" said Rias as she crossed her hand in front of her still-developing ċhėst.

"But… but… Onii-sama missed Rias! You know how hard it was to not see my little angel for a whole year and just spend my time looking at your pictures!" the redhead, Sirzech Lucifer, cried.

Rias's brow twitched as she looked at her brother. She did not know what to say to her sis-con brother.

"Anyway," going back to his serious expression, he examined Rias from head to toe before saying, "I've heard that you have become 'his' [Pawn]?"

Rias, seeing the serious look on her brother's face, nodded, "I have," she knew who he was talking about. Of course, Wang Lei. Who else's [Pawn] did she become?

Sirzech sighed. Though he did not hate Wang Lei, he was also not going to say that he liked him. He had the girl he loved, after all. To him, Wang Lei was more like a rival – rival in love that he could not defeat. That's why, though he did not hate him, he didn't like him either.

"Well, what's done is done. On the other note, you look stronger than before. Did he train you?" looking at her, he found that she had some other kind of an aura on her now. Something different from destruction and yet close to it. He was sure that he has seen something like that before.

"Um," Rias nodded to his question, "Master has been training me for a year now. I am quite strong now, you know. I don't think anyone from young devils can defeat me now."

She boosted herself. Though she might not be correct. Since all she learned was the control on her demonic power and <Crush Magic>. That, in essence, was the same as <Destruction Magic>. She still suċkėd when it came to close combat.

"Can you show me? The other magic that you learned from him," Sirzech asked, quite curious as he felt the other aura on Rias familiar.

Rias did not mind and went to the closest pillar to her, tapping on it with her finger and sending <Crush Magic> to it. Soon, the pillar shone in white, with different crack-like lines forming on it before exploding into different small cubes.

Sirzech's eyes widened too extreme. Not because he was surprised due to the magic, since destruction magic could do similar, but because he felt that same magic structure as he had seen a year ago at House of Naberius territory.

He seriously looked at Rias before asking, "Rias… did he teach you that magic?"

Rias was confused by her brother's behavior but nodded nonetheless. She did not understand why her brother was so serious all of sudden.

"I see…" Sirzech went into thinking before snapping out of it. Looking at Rias, he smiled, "You should go and meet father and mother. They have been missing you a lot, Rias."

Sirzech stare at their backs before sighing, "Just what did Naberius territory did to make him angry? Meh! Since it is already destroyed let's forget about it. In the end, he just helped us by removing those vermin, who were doing inhumane experiments behind our backs."

Sirzech shrugged before going after Rias. He wanted to meet and know more about his sister's peerage. Also, to spend some lovey-dovey time between brother and sister… he really was a sis-con, but not as much as a certain transmigrator, who was in love with his sister.

---

"Well, this would the place where we would be staying from now on," said the young fox as he looks at the two-story building.

But one should not be deceived by its appearance as the space inside was many times bigger than how it looked. The person who brought this was a Primordial being; what did you expect?

With the use of <Space Magic>, it was not that hard to modify the boundary of space to make it bigger than what it seems.

"This... you don't want this great Dragon King to live in such a mortal place, now do you?" said the girl that appears to be 13-14 years old. She had long platinum hair that matched with her eyes, made her look majestic. She was wearing a one-piece dress that matched her hair and eyes in color -- platinum. She had two dragon horns coming out of her head with a silver dragon tail behind, but due to illusionary magic, it was hidden from the normal eye.

"Oh, so where do you want to live, Albion?" smiling gently, Wang Lei asked.

With a puff of her ċhėst, the platinum-haired girl, Albion opened her mouth, "Of course, in a cave filled with nothing but sweets!"

Wang Lei had his temple twitched hearing her.

"You like sweets that much, huh."

"Of course! Without sweets, there is no meaning to life in this world! Everyone should understand that!" as an adherent follower of sweets, Albion spoke with great enthusiasm, "In fact, you should make use of your reality wrapping magic and make everyone in this world like sweets, daddy!"

"I don't know about that... anyway, we will be living in this place from now on. And don't worry, I will get enough sweets for you to live comfortably," Wang Lei said, giving up on his 'daughter', "Now come and help me in cleaning this place and settle our stuff."

Albion nodded happily when she heard that she can have as many sweets as she wants; her enthusiasm shoots through the roof. She would do the only thing for her sweets!

Looking at her energetic face, Wang Lei smiled patting her head. He remembered how he met this 'daughter' of his.

For that, we need to go back, 5-6 years, in time. It was summer, and Wang Lei was sitting, gently leaning against the tree, cultivating.

Though normally, he would not cultivate since it has lost its meaning to him. But that was not the case with his Physiques, that he had to train manually.

After cultivating <Hell Suppression Immortal Physique> to Grand-Completion, Wang Lei found that it was getting harder for him to cultivate other Physiques.

And he knew the reason very well; he reached the limit he could reach in his current state. He needs a push, a push strong enough to enable him to improve his Physique further.

For that, he needs an opponent who had the same level of Physique as him, otherwise, it was just a dream for others to hurt him.

But again, since he wanted to enjoy fighting, he sealed most of his defensive Physiques. Now a question arises, why did he waste his time trained them when he was going to seal them anyway? Well, it's simple... why not? Since he has, then why not cultivate it? Though he wanted to enjoy fighting -- sealing was when the opponent he was fighting was not at his level.

Since Wang Lei was aware that many people have stronger Physique than him. Not in this world, but in another for sure.

The immortal Physiques gave a person impenetrable defense, but that was just exaggeration. Otherwise, there would have been no way for Li Qiye, who had his Physique reached even stronger than Immortal Physique to get injured.

In the end, at the higher levels, things such as stronger Physiques are useless. At that level, all that matters is your comprehension of worldly laws and Grand Dao. The one who has a stronger Dao would win while those with weak will lose; it was as simple as that -- with enough comprehension, one could become God and Devil with just one thought.

So, since he could not train Physiques that affected his physical capabilities, he decided to train in Elemental Physiques from the word 'Yang'.

The word 'Yang' provided two Physiques related to 'Yang' or Fire. They were <Solar Immortal Physique> and <Extreme Yang Physique>.

<Extreme Yang Physique> was the one that Tio and Caiyi were trained in, or was training.

<Solar Immortal Physique> was the one Wang Lei was cultivating currently. It allowed a cultivator to emit an endless amount of light which could be used offensively or defensively by creating a spatial gap and becoming unreachable as the sun in the daytime sky.

If one looked closely, then they could see different flowers growing around him. Different animals were sleeping close to him as if basking in his light.

MEOW

Kuro, who was sleeping on his head purred. Since the time Wang Lei started cultivation <Solar Immortal Physique>, Kuro found out that she will find herself in peace if she were near Wang Lei.

If Wang Lei was cultivating normal <Solar Immortal Physique>, then such phenomenon was impossible. Since it helped a person create an endless amount of light -- in an essence, it was the same light as what angels used.

But Wang Lei was cultivating this Physique by using his light -- the light that came from one's heart to cultivate this Physique. Even though his light was aggressive like a hungry beast that would devour everything in its path -- unlike the light of sages that bring peace -- it still was light in the end. So it was not surprising that other animals would love to stay near it. It brought them peace, after all.

It was pleasing and terrifying at the same time. Since if Wang Lei wanted, he could convert anyone by just using his light, making them a believer in his light. Not that he was going to do that. He was not bored enough to become God and have people worship him.

As Wang Lei was sitting under the tree, at some distance away, on a table with different snakes and tea, was Lavinia sitting.

Suzaku and Shuri were also sitting there, enjoying their morning tea.

Shizuku was not present as she was quite interested in this world's magic system. So, she went on her own journey saying that she would be back in a year or two.

Though she would come back at night or sometimes at daytime if she was free.

Lavinia, who was reading a storybook, suddenly raised her head and looked to her right.

"What happened, Lavinia? Is something wrong?" Suzaku asked as she sees Lavinia looking at her right for some time now.

With her finger on her chin, Lavinia cutely tilted her head, "I don't know... I just thought that I felt someone there... maybe it was my imagination?"

Suzaku and Shuri frowned, hearing her. Since they were sure that they did not feel anyone's presence there. But they still took her words seriously.

Though Lavinia may look clueless most of the time, she was still stronger than both of them. There was no way that she had mistaken someone's presence.

Just then, the bushes rustled, bring the attention of the trio. After some time, a small boy -- looked to be of 12-13 years old -- came out of them.

The young boy had dark silver and ice blue eyes that are often shown to be rimmed with the light ultramarine. He had a small white dragon plushie on his shoulder.

The boy looked at the trio before his eyes landed on Wang Lei, that was sitting some distance away from them, under a tree with Kuro sleeping on his head.

'Is that the person you were talking about Albion?' the boy asked someone inside his head.

'Um! I can feel his energy in him! He has to be him!' an excited voice came inside the young boy's head.

Ignoring the curious trio, he wanted to walk towards Wang Lei before he saw something blur in front of his vision before his head was drowned into softness.

"Awww~, such a cute boy~! Did you lose your mother?" Lavinia, who was rubbing her cheeks with the young boy's, asked.

"Y-you! Leave me this instant, or I'll burn you!" said the young boy, pushing Lavinia away from him. But he realizes that her strength was not something he could fight against, surprising him.

'Who is this human woman?! How is she this strong?'

"Hm, are you shy? Don't worry, Onee-san will help you find your mother," Lavinia ignored him and kept talking as if she did not hear him.

"A child? What is a child doing here?" Suzaku wandered. This forest was the property of Himejima. Not many people or outsiders wandered into it; especially, a child who does not seems to be older than 12-13.

Shuri also had the same thought. She went close to the boy and patting his head, "Are you lost, boy? What is your name?"

The young boy finally came out of Lavinia's embrace. With red cheeks, he puffed his ċhėst out proudly, "I am Vali!"

Shuri nodded, "And?"

Vali frowned. Since he was told not to tell his true identity to strangers.

"Just Vali..."

"I see Vali-Kun. Then tell Onee-san, why are you here in this forest?" Shuri nodded and did not press him further and asked.

Pointing his hand towards Wang Lei, Vali spoke, "I am here for him! I heard that he is strong, so I want to challenge him!"

'Vali! What are you saying?! Do you even know who he is? He will beat the shit out of you even while sleeping!' Albion's voice resounds within his head, but Vali ignored 'him'.

'Don't worry, Albion. If he is what you described, then he would at least not kill me without any reason.'

'People change Vali... I don't even remember the last time I met him.'

Looking back at Wang Lei, who still seems to be sleeping, Vali started to walk towards him.

"Wang Lei? He wants to challenge Wang Lei?" Suzuka was surprised, but what was more surprising that this kid knows Wang Lei. Since she was sure that only higher-ups know about him -- according to Grayfia.

"Such a cute child..." Lavinia ignored them as she looked towards Vali, who was trying to act like an ȧduŀt but was falling miserably due to his physique and childish features.

Reaching in front of Wang Lei, Vali crossed his hands in front of his ċhėst as he looked towards Wang Lei.

Feeling the familiar presence, Wang Lei opened his eyes and looked towards Vali.

"Hm? A dragon? Well, it isn't this little Albion," looking at Vali, Wang Lei amusingly said.

[It has indeed been a long time, father.]

Wings materialized behind Vali as a deep voice came from them, surprising the girls.

"Father?! You are a father?" Suzuka said, completely shocked by the fact that the voice called him father.

While rubbing his chin, Wang Lei made a thinking face, "Well... kind off... yeah?" he, himself, did not know since, in a sense, he was the father of Dragon, Youkai, and Vampires; since they had his essence in them.

"So, what brought you here Albion? Though I have to say I am disappointed, for my kin to became a mere tool for others to wield," Wang Lei's voice felt as if he was disappointed, seeing his fellow race reduced to nothing but a tool.

[I-it is not my fault! It's all that red bastard's fault! If not for him, I wouldn't have been sealed in this Sacred Gear!]

Albion seems to be afraid of making Wang Lei angry, so he put all the blame on Ddraig.

Wang Lei shook his head. He or his past self has killed himself at the start of the Great War, so he did not know how they were sealed in Sacred Gears. Though if he remembers correctly, then it was God of the Bible who sealed them.

"Does that justify that you, my kin, has lost to some random God?"

Albion wanted to retort by saying that it was not some random God, but Biblical God, one of the strongest existences of the past, but he kept quiet. Since he knew, in Wang Lei's eyes, he indeed was just a random God that could be killed anytime he wanted.

"Enough of this. Now tell me, why have you come to me?" waving his hand, Wang Lei asked as he takes Kuro in his hands, gently stroking her fur.

[I want you to take this child under your protection. Or, at least, give him your name.]

Hearing the seriousness in his voice, Wang Lei raised his brow, "You do realize what you are asking of me, right Albion? Giving him my name is the same as announcing to the world that he is my child. Does he have what it takes to bear my name?"

Hearing displeasure in Wang Lei's voice, Albion hurriedly explained, [O-of course! He is the first child that I, the Welshing Dragon Albion, think is worthy of your name! I can guaranty of you that he would never tarnish your name, father!]

Wang Lei's eyes narrowed at Vali, who proudly stood in front of him, without flinching, "Is that so? But you should know little kid, there is no such thing as a free meal in this world. What are you offering me in exchange for making you strong?"

"You can have my life!" without batting an eye, Vali spoke, "I don't have anything more precious than my life on me. Once I take my revenge, I'll let you decide what you want with me."

[Vali...]

Seeing the determination in his eyes, Wang Lei smiled as he licked his lips.

Suzaku, Shuri, and Lavinia did not interfere in the talk since they can see that Vali had great determination in his eyes.

"Amusing... you are very amusing, little boy. But I don't need your life. Since I can take it whenever I want," Wang Lei said as he lowered himself to Vali's level, looking into his eyes, "But how about Albion? I'll be taking my daughter back from you."

Not even Vali, but Suzaku, Shuri, and Lavinia's eyes widen. Not because Wang Lei was going to take Albion, but because he called him his daughter!

"Albion is a girl!" it was Vali who was the most astonished. His partner that he has been talking about for such a long time was a girl?

"What? You did not know that? Just because she speaks in a manly voice does not make her man. You cannot judge people based on their voice, after all," Wang Lei, looking at the surprised face of Vali, said.

[Father... you didn't need to tell them that...]

Albion seemed to be distress that his secret was no longer a secret anymore.

"But leaving that aside, are you willing to give her back?" Wang Lei asked as he observed Vali's expression changing.

"Never! Albion is my partner! I will never give him... her to anyone!" taking a battle stance, Vali shouted.

"Heheheahaha! Kid! Do you think I care about your choices?" Wang Lei said as he vanished from his place and appeared behind Vali, who was still trying to process what just happened.

But before he could say anything, he felt something piercing his ċhėst. With difficulty, he looked back at the smirking Wang Lei, who had his hand pierced his ċhėst.

"I'll be taking my daughter back," says Wang Lei as his eyes turned to golden slit, petrifying Vali at his place. He, not even from his grandfather, has ever felt this much fear and hopelessness -- as if everything he would do will be useless since there is nothing that can be hidden from those eyes, nothing can go against it.

<Revert; Reborn>

A magic circle bloomed as the surroundings magic started to get suċkėd into it at a tremendously fast pace.

Taking his hand out, Wang Lei saw with apathetic eyes as Vali's body fell on the ground.

Above him, a cocoon was created. A moment later, the cocoon cracked, revealing a nȧkėd girl that looked to be 13-14, silver platinum hair -- she had two backward dragon horns and a tail behind her.

Opening her eyes, she looked towards Vali and hurriedly picked him up, "Vali! Are you alright!?"

Seeing his hollow eyes, she glared at Wang Lei, "You! Why did you do that, daddy! He is just a child!"

Shrugging his shoulders, as if he did not care about her words, Wang Lei spoke, "You are the one who asked me of it; I am just testing whether he is worthy of taking my name or not. A person, who is blinded by revenge, would never be able to see the world with clear eyes. His obsession with his grandfather will end up in his doom. Revenge is good, but blind revenge is not. That's an obsession."

Albion becomes quiet, "... what does it have to do with you bringing me back to life?"

"..." Wang Lei became quiet as he seriously looked towards Vali, as if examining him, "He will be back soon."

"... you did not answer my question..." Albion asked again, this time pushing towards him slightly.

"I have trapped him in an illusion where he will have to choose two things, I wonder what he will choose," said Wang Lei, ignoring Albion, "Also, I have left an alternate Albion inside his Divine Divide. It's like your copy as you, and she shares the same thought. And she is connected with you, so you can see what is happening with Vali. In short, you have just gained your body, but Vali still has a part of your intent with him. It will dissipate with his death."

Albion sighed, hearing him. Though she did not mind coming back to life, she, at the same time, did not want to leave Vali alone. Now knowing that he has her intent still left in Sacred Gear, she could sigh in relief.

She tried to connect herself with the intent and found out that she can indeed connect with it.

"Anyway, now that you are back, come here and let me cuddle you," Wang Lei said with a straight face, without any form of ulterior motive.

"Wha-what? No!" Albion faced turned red, hearing him. She still remembered how Wang Lei always had her sit in his ŀȧp while he kept rubbing his cheeks with her. Though she did not hate it, she also felt quite embarrassed. She was Dragon King, and her pride did not allow her to be treated as a cute plushie.

"Why embarrassed? Now, come to daddy~," smiling gently, Wang Lei picked her up and placed her in his ŀȧp before patting her head as both of them waited for Vali to awake.

One man, who was happily patting the little girl's head, and the girl, who had her face completely red, kept watching Vali. Both of them completely ignored the trio, who was looking at him with astonished eyes, still not over the fact that he was already a father.

---

'Well, that's how I met my "daughter".'

"I have put the stuff, daddy! Now, where are my chocolates?!"

'Just... what the hell happened when I did not meet her? When did she become a sweet tooth person?' Wang Lei thought before shaking his head and going back to Albion, giving her the chocolates that she took happily.

'Now I wonder what Ddraig is doing? The canon is about to start already. I should give the protagonist a visit, then. But before that, lemme take a warm bath~,'

Though he did not know that he would have a certain blond delivered to him in the bath.
