Chapter 13 - SYSTEM SHOP? ⚡ AWESOME!!!

CENTRAL CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT

Barry walks in holding a white nylon bag in one hand. He climbs up a flight of stairs and gets to a room. Hr turns the knob, opened the door and walked right in.

He sees Iris sitting close to the window, gazing at the skies.

He quickly fakes a cough to make his presence known...

"cough... cough... "

"You got here pretty fast" Iris said.

"Yeah. No....traffic in the streets today. So is anything the matter, Iris"

"I have something that piqued my interest and I want your sincerest opinion on it"

"Well... Alright"

"Hmm.. Barry, the thing is that. I'm thinking of taking up journalism, what'd you think about that"

"That's cool. Given the fact that you're quite the argumentative you're",he said and smirked.

"I have a particularly interesting story to write on. It's about the.... um 'red streak'"

"You mean the one who's been running around town saving everyone in a flash?" he said smiling

"Yeah and I think you've just helped me with title of my blog" she said

"Really?" he asked

"Yup, The Flash" she replied.

Just then Eddie comes into Barry's office.

"Sorry for not knocking there, my bad" Eddie said scratching his head.

"No problem. You, huh...., wanna talk to Iris? ",Barry said.

"You guys seems to be busy already. I'll come back later" he replied.

"No. It's fine",Barry said

Iris walks up to him and they talk for a while, and then as Eddie wants to move closer to her, she holds him back and pushes him back and gestures to the fact that Barry's in the room. In the awkward moment....

"You can kiss. I kinda know already ",Barry said.

"Thanks Allen" Eddie said nodding in appreciation.

He kisses Iris and then leaves the room.

"I have to get going Barry, thanks for the advice, you're a good friend " Iris said

"Well they do say a friend in need is a friend indeed",he replied smiling.

"Right, bye" she said and turned to leave.

Barry relaxes on the chair after her departure. He takes a glance at his wrist watch, 1:02pm. I'll have to go and see Cisco very soon.

"But isn't there something I can remember that'll help me increase my abilities. I don't wanna be the regular Barry Allen"

Just then;

**DING**DING**DING** System had a notification.

" What the heck..."

He called out the system.....

Description:- Gives user the ability to phase through objects.

Due to familiarities with the host, extra features have been unlocked.

Experience Points:- 14,435points [Can be gained by taking down enemies and doing good deeds. Stronger enemies give greater EXP]

SYSTEM SHOP

Uses EXP points to unlock certain features.

—> Use 10,000 points to increase any stats by one point

–> Use 200,000 points to increase mastery of skills

–>Powers can now be added. Primary powers available now are;

-Super strength

- Flight

Use 1,000,000 points to add any powers of your choosing.

–>Body Augments (locked)
