Chapter 11 - A TIGHT SITUATION

MORNING AT BARRY'S RESIDENCE...

There's sounds of splash of water coming from the bathroom. After a couple of minutes, Barry steps out of the shower wearing a towel around his waist; drenched in water. He walks lazily to his room and dressed in shirt and jeans. He picks up the TV remote and pushes the "ON" button.

Tv reporter 1:- Breaking News!!

We've just received news from the airport that the plane moving into the city is in serious danger as two of the engine are failing....

Tv reporter 2:- It's gonna take a huge miracle to save the hundred of lives on that plane. We hope that there are reduced casualities

****WHOOSH****

"Glad you could make it in time, "Caitlin said.

"Cisco you got any ideas on this one? ", Barry said.

" If you could fly, you could keep it from crashing hard, but..... Forget it, I'm out of ideas",Cisco said, crestfallen.

"You guys think of something. I'm going to find the plane",Barry said.

That said, he wore his flash costume and left the lab.

( Dammit! This is really a tight spot for me. I don't have powers of flight nor do I have that of super strength. Even Speed thinking doesn't seem to yield any ideas )

He passes by rows of houses at supersonic speed. He speeds up across a building and gets to the top, he squints his eye at the sky and found the plane making it way downwards.

"This is really bad"

Then all of a sudden he snapped his finger and his lips curled into a smirk.

(This just might work)

"Approximately, its 1.5 km below ground level"

He does some calculations and figured the perfect location that the plane will land.

He marks a big "X" on the spot and makes a big circle around it. He stood in the middle of the circle.

"I can't use it now. I have to wait for the perfect time"

1000m....9000m....850m... 700m... 600m... 500m...

"It's time", he said.

Then with all his strength he moves to the border of the circle and starts moving around the point 'X' at his fastest speed.

( I really hopes this works)

The airplane starts to descend in height slowly. Then winds starts blowing strongly as a tornado begins to form around the location Barry marked earlier.

He further increases his speed.

After some seconds, the current of the wind increases as the tornado increases in power.

(I think the power is just sufficient. I'll just maintain it for now. )

When the plane came within range of the tornado, the plane stops in his descents and begins to rotate slowly on the tornado.

(I can't believe it is actually working)

He starts decreasing his speed and with that, the speed of the tornado also starts to lose its power. Then the plane starts descending. When it reached 100m above ground level, he super speeds out of the area, then **BANG**, the plane lands lands on the ground. Barry heard cheers and laughter on the transmitter.

"Good Job Barry" Cisco said through the radio transmitter.

"Yeah, "Barry mumbled gasping.

Barry left the plane and ran over to STAR labs.

When he arrived at STAR labs, Cisco went over to him, handing him a bottle of soft drink.

"Hey, thanks dude "Barry said

"Ya deserve it. That was one heck of a plan"

"Thank you Cis....

**SPLASH**

Liquid spilled on the floor as the bottle fell out of Barry's hand.

Then with a Thud, Barry fell to the floor....
