279 Secondary 2

Name:Immoral System Author:FallenBlue
Sofony was shivering. She and Gio managed to wreak havoc at the hidden base in Hyacinth City, but they discovered Sofia was nowhere in sight. She vanished! And the damn Leader of the organization couldn't be found too!

"Sofia is alive. However, there's no way to trace her whereabouts. So distasteful!" Fire was burning in her eyes, and the hateful part was how the searing pain seemed to be penetrating not only her heart, but also her bones.

How could she not be furious and angry when it was her own secondary host who ran into misfortune just like that?

"Sofie." Worry was in Gio's eyes. The woman's rage could be seen. She was still badly fuming and huffing for breath even though the tall brown building before them had long tumbled down, reduced into rubbles and dust.

The two of them did not pay Ver Drilon any attention when the man arrived and exclaimed surprise at them. The guy sported a dumbfounded expression at the sight he saw upon arriving. He asked himself, 'I'm already late?'

"Where's the damn base keeper of this site?!" Ver shouted.

Sofony who was trembling in anger threw him a murderous look which was different from the one she gave him days ago. The latter was just a warning. But this time, the redness in her eyes was telling him she would really put an end to his life if he gets into her already tense nerves again.

Ver gritted his teeth but followed its suggestion. He looked around but found no other living person nearby.

Gio walked to Sofony's side and pulled her into her embrace. Like a frozen statue, she allowed herself to be hugged. But she didn't stop throwing all sorts of bombs at the place. The system cackling in her ears was not helping at all. Its happiness at her reckless wasting of points made her crazier and more furious.

"Stop it. Let's leave!" The man forcefully dragged her out there. When she suddenly showed resistance and attempted to escape from his arms, the man didn't hesitate to order the half-host ghost to buy him a strong anesthetic which could both paralyze her and cause her to lose consciousness.

When the man skillfully administered the shots, it rendered the other Level 5 in the place gaping.

'Another system user like us?'

Alarmed, he quietly followed as Gio carried the unconscious Sofony like a bride. "How many are still up and running?"

Ver was absent-minded at first. When he realized he was the one being asked, the suspected higher-level host was already scowling badly at him. The twenty-eight-year-old man was not in a good mood after having rendered his fiancée unconscious against her will.

"I've left them three years ago. I don't know. But before leaving, they already have at least one in every major city."

"In other words, at least seventeen." There was no expression in the non-host's face. "There's another major triad in this country which has a reach to almost everywhere here. Contact them and have them attack those places. That should serve as enough diversion. You don't need to lead them there. Go to any of the major countries' embassy and fake an SOS rescue signal to all the other nations. Make sure to have at least ten countries send their fighter jets."

Gio said in a very awe-inspiring way that Ver only realized something was off a few dozen seconds later. Why was he being made into a gopher?

Gio continued, "In case you don't know. The goal is to reduce all bases into rubbles. That should suffice to complete her 'destroying a whole organization' task."

Ver clenched his fist. Even if the person speaking to him was more powerful than him, he still didn't want to be lorded over. However, just when he was about to protest and teleport away, his girlfriend's face suddenly popped up in his mind. She was smiling at him, moving her mouth as if she was giving him his daily dose of scolding. It was weird how she could do the two at the same time. He couldn't hear what she was saying. But that was enough to make him remember the urgent situation and what should matter more right now.

'Wendy's my priority...'

"... I will go now."

"Counting on you."

After dropping those lines to the younger man, Gio carried the unconscious woman and walked away. Meanwhile, Ver activated his regained Teleport skill. Though feeling exasperated and unwilling, he executed what the abnormal man had told him to do.

....

Sofony was woken up a few hours after by a light tap on her face. It was her best friend's stalker who snuck into her room. The disturbance caused by their actions was still ongoing. But the bases Gio Albarez had ordered to be bombed were already bombed. The guy was too anxious to know if Sofony's AI had already approved of her completion rate and promoted her to Level 6.

All in all, his goal was to check if she could now purchase that skill and wake up Wendy!

"Where's Gio?" After taking a deep breath, the woman looked around. Seeing none of his figure or shadow, she asked the person who woke her up, not forgetting to stare dagger at him.

"He just went out and should be back again. Believe me, you should not be worried about him. Can you tell me what the judgment of your AI is?

Ver Drilon could hardly suppress the impatience in his heart. His thoughts were all over the place, but the central idea had always been that girl lying comatose in her room next door. Right. They were now back to Alina and somehow only he ended up going back with full consciousness.

Sofony Silver was forced to calm down by her non-host supporter using a tranquilizer. Sofia Mendoza, the singer-actress was either dead or being tortured to death by one of the renegade core members.

The most useless of them all was that Chris Meyer. His task was only to look out for the attack team and guard the non-host idol, Maila Asuncion, yet for some reason, that person also ended up in comatose.

'Even though this haphazardly created alliance is rendered like this by the organization, the result is not really that bad because that mysterious higher-leveled guy helped out. This should mean one way or another, the mission is completed, right?' The man was trying to convince himself of this.

Before Sofony could open her mouth to answer the fidgety man, Gio came into the room with a tray of food in his hands. His face darkened seeing Ver there. "Who gave you permission to come in here?"

Cold sweats ran down the pretty-faced lanky man's back. But for Wendy, he braved meeting the dark penetrating gaze of the other. Since he had no answer to Gio's question, he just went to the point and said, "I've done my part. I need this woman to do hers now."

With eyes full of pleading and sincerity, he added, "Please wake her up now."
