'Fred' was amused because he saw no fear in the teenager's eyes, only endless blackness, and hostility.

He wondered just what could give this kid his few doses of fright...

With a laugh, he replied, "I would love to."

After snapping his fingers, he added.

"But first things first. Your glares are honestly bothering me, so I really want to know, do I resemble someone you know, specifically one you hated, so much that even though I'm just similar with him in one aspect, that is already enough reason for you to look at me like you're cursing me inside your head to just drop dead?"

The grin on the face of the man in the white lab coat became wider, looking almost demonic.

"I also want to know. Is that someone a fake abusive husband who is actually a male clone, a trashy dude who ruthlessly deceived and killed your family together with a fake battered wife?"

The kid trembled in place, memories rushed back, making his face distorted and full of anger. Thankfully, his companion was there to pacify him. Otherwise, he would have long thrown bombs towards the middle-aged man, an act which would surely give him a one-way ticket to hell.

After calming himself for a moment, the bomber raised his knife-like eyes to the person seated a few meters away from him.

'Fred' grinned, seemingly not bothered by the kind of look the young one was giving him.

"Is that why you tailed me with the intent to kill me when you discover I am the same as him?"

With an expressionless face unbefitting of a teenager and without denying the man's accusations, Leo answered,

"I indeed wanted to kill you when I learned you're a secondary host, so what? What's wrong with that? I hate clones! I hate Secondary Hosts! I also hate Originals!"

"There's almost no other proper hosts with no clones like you. So are you saying you hate every immoral host other than you? It's weird. Why are you single-mindedly hating them? Shouldn't you first be considering whether that killer had an organization behind him and then make them your new goal? Haven't you contemplated whether there was someone who ordered that host to do that to your family?"

"If there is, I'll then take revenge against them. But it's already something you should not concern yourself with! It's also none of your business whether I continue hating clones and Originals, or not!"

The one belonging to the hated group shrugged, "I was about to give you free information. But, well, whatever. It's just ironic that you become one of the 'subspecies' you hated." The doctor wannabe said, still grinning.

"So maybe, you also hated yourself?"

The bomber kid interjected, "Can you go directly to the point. It's so boring. If you plan to kill me, do it quick. If you don't, then great. I would like to request for you to stop locking up the space here so I can respectfully scram from your sight!"

'Fred' acted as if he didn't hear the young one saying these words.

"It seems you really do hate yourself. See, you didn't bother denying it. Let me guess the reason. Is it for not dying at the same time as the rest of your family? Or for stupidly not giving those people some nicer and longer torture experiences? I wonder which one?"

Leo's lunatic laughing expression was seemingly just a history of the past. Internally, he was busy battling it out with one of his favorite abilities which were now used against him by Fred's clone, activated before the latter brought up that other bastard clone. The torrent of self-remorse and anger flooding him was so much that it was just hard to stop the shivers running up his spine and brain.

The kid stepped back, hoping that putting more distance between him and the man would help lessen the nasty skill's effect.

In the end though, when he could no longer hold out, he pleaded, "Stop!"

Unfortunately, 'Fred' did not comply.

Or actually, he did, when the torrents of memories were already at the part where Leo's family were dying one by one.

As a consequence, the picture in Leo's brain was stuck to where he saw each and every one of his family dead!

His mother and father shot and made to bleed to death.

His sister losing her life over a Molotov's point-blank explosion. Him reduced into a homeless, orphaned rat...

"Erase! Erase!" The images were so vivid that Leo, the fourteen-year-old kid who still loved his family so much, ended up squatting down holding his head.

Looking so fragile and pitiful, he repeated shouted for the image to be erased in his mind.

He disliked it to death!

Even in his dreams he always hated the nightmares always haunting him. Those nightmares were a bit okay since he never saw the scene clearly anymore due to the passage of time. But now, it was like he was reliving the bad dreams and he couldn't escape! He couldn't even wake up!

"It's such a mystery how you can stand the gore caused by your explosions. You can also laugh faced with people losing blood and limbs in front of you, sometimes, poking into their wounds and injuries if you feel like it." The doctor laughed, "But when I graciously let you see your family in the first gory scene you've ever witnessed in your life, you acted like this. Just why?"

Fred's clone was indirectly asking, what was the difference. Aren't they all people? So why was there a difference in the reaction?

Time passed that nothing changed in the scene.

The man in white became bored watching from the tree stump he was sitting on while the kid was almost rolling on the partially cemented road, holding his head, staying under the cover of the item which had been accidentally activated.

Beads of sweat rolled down from his forehead and cheeks.

Or maybe some of those were no longer sweat, but silent streams of tears.

Incoherent words were continuously and repeatedly flowing out of the crying kid's lips. "Die!!! I'll kill you! NO!! D-don't die! I-I'm s-sorry!!! D-don't k-kill me! Stop! N-not t-them too!!!"

Leo Jones was now a mess and even though he had a system in his brain trying to make him regain hold of reality, 'Fred's skill was just too strong and he couldn't even fight back. It was maybe a punishment purposely made. Aside from blowing people and buildings up, he loved riling people's emotion up.

Borrowing the words of the elderlies, 'let him know the taste of his own medicine,' now the latter was happening to him, and it was even worse as it was accompanied by heartrending memories and voices.

A few seconds later, the clone unamusedly sneered, spluttering out to the poor kid weeping not far from him.

"So boring. But yeah, where will I find thrill in dealing with a mere brat?"
