Chapter 392 - Death, Death-II

Seoyeon dragged Ava who was about to make distance with a large swirl of wind, when she was about being her closer, Ava clicked her tongue and threw the large ceramic vase that was near her toward Seoyeon.

Quickly Seoyeon stopped the vase with her hand, weakening the swirl of the wind which made Ava to escape but she hadn't made it too far when Jung Hwa had teleported beside the woman and pulled her with his blood ability to the ground.

Ava's head swung dizzily as she tried to focus her eyes when Jung Hwa had once again attacked her with his power infused hand. Just as he plunged down his hand toward her chest, the woman was similar to a snake. Not only similar, she had turned her hand into a snake tail, letting her to slither away easily and puck herself back from the ground.

But the attacks raining toward her continue like missile that it was difficult to stop them. The next time she escaped Jung Hwa's attack now it was time for her to once again face Seoyeon's attack.

She was kept busy with one another.

"Tired already?" Jung Hwa grinned as he took the woman by the back of her head and slammed her face first to the wall. "Come on, that isn't fun is it?"

Blood flowed from Ava's nose as she felt her cheekbones fractured by the hit she endured against the wall. "Don't be cocky I am not done yet!"

Ava reached out her hand to the sky. Seoyeon quickly snapped her eyes upward to see the snake tails dropping down from the ceiling before its large head manifested in front of her.

The snake's red and wide eyes glared at Seoyeon before opening its mouth with a ear-shattering hiss.

"Do you think you can defeat me without a fight?" Ava chuckled and Jung Hwa snapped his eyes toward his left where the witchess had suddenly transported herself to.

"Tsk, slippery like your pet," Jung Hwa looked at Seoyeon and she sent him a nod.

"I can take care of this," Seoyeon told him and she smiled, "Leave it to me."

Jung Hwa returned her smile, "I trust you," and turning his face he looked at Ava who chuckled in response.

"She will take care of it? That snake is not my simple pet. It is my treasured familiar who the Mistress had taken from Hell," laughed the woman maniacally.

"From Hell?" Jung Hwa laughed in response, his laughter didn't deter against the woman's laughter as if he was eviler than her. "Then you should have brought a new one, a new familiar from different place other than Hell because—" Jung Hwa didn't have to complete his words and tipped his chin to behind him.

Ava who didn't understand at once get what the pureblood meant when she saw a large fire ball manifested from Seoyeon's hand as she launched them toward the woman but that wasn't the end of it as Seoyeon created a large swirl of wind to kept the fire to circulate at the snake.

"Doesn't seem like it will take long before she ends that which also mean I should end this charade soon," Jung Hwa who smiled had his eyes deeper in the color of red compared to before. The corner of his lips twisted higher as the blood from his hand moved as if it was alive, hovering over his back in a web-like movements.

The opposite side of where Jung Hwa and Seoyeon was while fighting Ava, Lee Young and Yeseul had arrived on the same dead end as Jung Hwa and Seoyeon did earlier.

"No one," Yeseul said to Lee Young and she walked toward the edge of the railing on her right side to see how the floor below was flooded between the Witches and the Hunters. The battle was fierce and she wanted to end this as soon as possible.

"Doesn't seem like the Mistress would be here," Jung Hwa answered, "Have you tried sensing her?"

"I think it would be useless now. If she knew I am here and Seoyeon is here as well, we can only guess that she had tried to conceal her presence with her magic. I have tried but I don't feel anything," Yeseul answered with pulled brows.

"Which mean she is still around here. I don't see why she would run honestly considering how confident she is," Lee Young cupped his cheeks. "We came here uninvited and abruptly she shouldn't have known that we came. I had made foolproof plan to make certain that no one on our side would turn against us. Unless... some of them had expected this would have occurred?"

"Someone like who?" Yeseul suddenly stayed quiet, "There is one woman who can see the future it was the woman who was called the yellow witch in the past but she had died."

"But The Mistress had once came back to life—" Lee Young suddenly stopped talking that caused her to crooked her brows. Lee Young placed his index finger over his lips. "Someone's here."

Yeseul narrowed her eyes as well while hearing that indeed there was a sound of rushing. They nodded at each other and followed the rushing sound.

"Not here," came the voice from the gap of the door where the rushing sound started from. "Not here, not here!"

Yeseul who was curious sneaked her head slowly inside the room to see who had talked and what was the person trying to do.

"A human?" Lee Young questioned in whisper. Strange because he didn't feel like the person was a witch but neither was them a vampire.

"Doesn't seem like one. I will attack," Yeseul said to him in the same whisper she reached out her hand to open the door only to hear words of a person saying,

"Do you have it? Do you have what's mine?" He asked in a whisper-like voice. Yeseul who was surprised couldn't use her ability in time but Lee Young was quick enough to push the person until they flew four feet away.

"Be careful," warned Lee Young.

Yeseul's eyes froze and stunned while looking at the creature on the ground whose face and entire body charred and black. The person wasn't wearing clothes and it's body seemed like a human with a head and limbs but a large and heavy lizard tail that grew behind the creature told them enough that it wasn't one.

The creature snapped its mouth wide, showing its jagged and sharped teeth that gleamed sharply. "Where.... my medicine where?!"
