Chapter 314 - Attempting Revival-III

His kisses on her tasted a little like blood that she noticed not to come from their kiss or her lips. Their lips brushed over each other's when they left, "Then why do you look like now? Sad and angry? Why aren't you speaking? I won't know anything if you doesn't tell me what you feel,"

Jung Hwa danced his fingertips on the side of her cheeks, "You are not alright, are you? Yet you say you do, was I incompetent that you can't trust me?" He looked at her, giving Seoyeon a gentle look of his eyes.

"That's not what I was trying to do. It isn't as easy as I thought to rely on people, I have never rely on someone before," she felt his hands squeeze at her and a smile free from tease and miscue eyes appeared on his face.

He touched her chin gently, "Well you have me now, and I don't think I have to tell you how good I am for you to depend on. Not to mention I am strong, powerful, and-"

"Handsome?" Seoyeon filled his words, finding his grin again.

"There you go, agreeing to my opinion. It will be alright," he dropped his hands and took her into his embrace, "I would be much happier if you could tell me whatever is running in your mind."

"I will try," Seoyeon gave her words and Jung Hwa decided to settle on that words of hers for now. "I was wondering what we could do now."

"There are plenty of things to do. Did the catalyst spoke about anything else?" Jung Hwa questioned and she nodded.

"She spoke about a lot of things but I found how sad she is. It seems that whenever she live inside a new vessel, death always chases after her. She had seen people died because of her and it might be the reason why..."

"Why?" Jung Hwa urged her.

"Why she has decided to take my life," and Seoyeon watched how the frown on Jung Hwa's forehead deepening. He didn't like the way it sound as much as for it to happen. "She has her choice but I told her I didn't want to do it. When I saw her past in the lucid dream, I learned about a few things about her. She had someone who she deeply loved, but they faced hurdles to be together. I don't know what happen to them after it, but I feel that he died."

"The person that she loves?" Jung Hwa saw Seoyeon nodded her head.

"I want to see the Lucid Dream again. Do you think I could find a way to do so?" Seoyeon had seen the past Haneul had and she had a feeling that something was hidden beneath the dream, "Maybe I could find a method to hone my power. Unlike others, Haneul managed to do it and the answer on how she managed that might be hidden inside the dream."

Jung Hwa hummed in a thought. The white witch didn't know what to do as he had given her the method he thought would work but they have no time until the lucid dream could come on its own and he also wished for Seoyeon to take the catalyst's power under her control for her own protection, "Maybe it's time for us to visit her again."

"Her?" Seoyeon asked when she saw Jung Hwa standing up and he reached out her hands toward her. Unhesitatingly Seoyeon took his hands, and he twisted her waist in time, causing her to flop over his chest.

"The person who can foretold our future," he said.

"The fortune teller," Seoyeon raised her body in surprise, unknowingly placing her hands on his chest and when she realized what she had done, the tips of her ears turn pink but she pushed her thought away. Jung Hwa didn't miss her expression and the thought he had been pushing inside his mind raise again, the thought that was burning with desire for having her whole body and soul.

"I have been wondering to ask," Jung Hwa's eyes dipped into a deeper shade of red and Seoyeon could feel how his voice lowered when he whispered the words next to her ears.

"About what?" gulped Seoyeon.

"Do you have any idea against sex before marriage?" His unabashed words caused her eyes to widen. Seoyeon didn't know how to react with his sudden words and her lips parted and close.

"How can you not be shameful of your words!" she said, feeling him pressing the back of her waist to pull her closer to his chest.

Jung Hwa pulled a naive expression, "What is it with my words, darling? Honestly speaking do you know what have been running in my mind whenever I see you in front of my eyes?"

Seoyeon watched his eyes lowering, settling from her cheeks and moving lower and lower to the cleavage of her breasts. Her skin burned on the places his eyes looked at her, and she felt her entire body heating even though Jung Hwa barely did anything to her.

"It always appears in my head on how to push you to my bed. How should I pleasure you and how should I have you pleasure me. The night that we could share together inside my room without being bothered by others," He traced his fingers on her spine, and admired her features that appeared as though she had melted from both his words and touches. His grin widen and he shifted his knees against her legs, when he pressed deeper, a soft gasp quivered from her lips. "So many thoughts running in my mind that you can't believe how on edge I am with my patience."

"Don't undress me!" Seoyeon was alarmed when she felt her clothes loosening. "You told me not to lie," suddenly she said and he raised his eyebrows, wondering if this was her way to stop him. Well if it was, then she had failed as he encourage his finger to continue loosening the rest of her button.

"W-Wait," Seoyeon placed her hands on her cheeks, "Listen to me."

"Okay," Jung Hwa stopped but his fingers did not leave her button and fiddled it between his fingers. "Go on," he offered.

"You don't lie to me, do you?" Jung Hwa didn't reply but smile, "What didn't you tell me about how I wounded you yesterday?"

"It wasn't you, it was the catalyst," Jung Hwa answered, still a smile on his lips not to worry her, and they both knew he was correct but that wasn't the problem. "And it barely wounded me."

Seoyeon heaved a breath, "Haneul— the catalyst, she isn't like what you think she is. I can feel her grief. She can end anything as long as it is to protect herself from feeling sadder than she is already."

"She is a coward?" Jung Hwa subjectively pointed.

"Everyone have a few things they want to hide themselves from and maybe Haneul have it harder for herself as she continuously called back to live in another vessel and watch them suffering," Seoyeon could feel all the heaviness in her heart when the catalyst took over her body. It was much deeper than grief or sorrow, it was an utter feeling of desperation, something she hadn't felt before and when she did, she could only feel how stifling Haneul must have felt to the point of taking her life might be her only solution.

"That's not enough reason why I would forgive her," Jung Hwa said, his expression took a clear different of darkness when he spoke about the catalyst. "She might be as you said, a very pitiful person. But whether they are pitiful or not, I will never forgive anyone who hurt you— or separate us."

"You look pale," Seoyeon then voiced her worry when looking at his face, "Very paler than before and is it normal for your eyes to stay red for hours?"

"Maybe I am hungry."

"For blood?"

"For you," he grinned but saw her instead pouting her lips. "I am not lying about hungry for you but yes, I am also hungry for blood. I used a little lot of my power."

"To protect me," Seoyeon continued his words to see him smile.

"It's a very cheap price to have you back. I would do anything even if it cost my eyes and arms for you," Jung Hwa traced his fingers to loosen her button and this time, Seoyeon didn't seem alarmed, looking as if she had calmed herself.

"I thought by your words, you would say even if it cost your life," Seoyeon chuckled a little when she spoke.

"I would like to give my life for you but if I do so, it would mean I would also leave you alone. What will you do without this perfect boyfriend of yours? I wouldn't want you to weep everyday for me," Jung Hwa leaned forward to kiss her neck, her skin quivered under his lips. She felt shivers but a good kind of shiver.

"I will stay with you forever, so don't leave me either," Jung Hwa's words contain a little of desperation in his voice. Yesterday was enough shock for him to see her in pain, fighting for her life.

Seoyeon saw a diagonal wound that hadn't healed on his chest. Although she didn't know when it happened, she knew it was her who had inflicted the pain during the time Haneul took over her body. She bravely leaned forward, kissing the wound and pulled her chin up to look at him, "I won't leave you alone," she saw his smile widened on her promise. "And to  answer your earlier question..." drawled Seoyeon with her entire cheeks turning bright red.

Jung Hwa wondered what question she meant only to realize it was the first question that he had asked her in the beginning. "I don't mind doing sex before marriage. If it is with you." And how those words work like magic to break all bounds Jung Hwa had in him that prevented him to cross the line.

"You won't believe how glad I am to hear that," he caught her lips again, with one pull, he took off the rest of her blouse's button, undressing his beautiful beast and admiring her beauty. "Come closer, Seoyeon," he whispered, pulling her back and Seoyeon moved her body forward, wrapping her hands around his neck, she placed her hands beside his legs and kissed him with the same passion he gave her.. The night drew close for others but for them it was just the beginning.
