Chapter 272 - Stay With Me-III

After moving from the house which had become a tragedy scene which would soon fall to the history of the vampires, Seoyeon closed the door to see where Jung Hwa had taken a seat. After what had taken place, they were currently at Jung Hwa's grandparent's house and had relocate to his room. She looked around, trying to keep her eyes to herself while at the same time watching his room.

Noticing children books, Seoyeon asked, "Is this the room that you used since children?"

"Yes," Jung Hwa set aside his coat which he had turned to red after the amount of blood that he lost, "Does it interest you to see my childhood?"

"It would be a lie if I don't," she smiled, and Jung Hwa found a part of her that had always built a wall to people and him seemed to have crumbled. The cause was his near-death experience which Jung Hwa knew Seoyeon was very terrified of.

"It makes me happy that you are very interested in me," he whispered but enough to be heard by her.

"Do you have a picture of your family?" Seoyeon questioned because in his house she didn't see anything.

"My grandfather might have it. I didn't store things like that but my grandfather always store it to himself," Jung Hwa responded, taking off the first four button of his white shirt. Was there a reason for Jung Hwa not to have his own family picture? Was it because the guilt that he felt for killing his parents?

Seoyeon had been looking around and when her eyes came back to him, who had taken off his shirt, her eyes widened and she immediately pulled her hands over her eyes.

"W-What are you doing?!" Seoyeon was startled when she saw Jung Hwa's naked back.

"Changing clothes," responded Jung Hwa, "You would also need to change your clothes later. It should already been arrange in your room and you can change into it later."

Seoyeon turned her back without facing him, she could feel her heartbeat raising and blood rushing to her cheeks when she remember the lines on his body and how taut his back muscle was. Seeing him without the shirt makes him look manlier than before and at the thought Seoyeon squeezed her eyes and shook her eyes, trying to dust the memories away.

It was then when they heard chiming from her phone. Wondering who, Seoyeon took it to see the name of the caller, and Jung Hwa had pulled his shirt when he asked, "Who is it?"

"My brother," Seoyeon responded before quickly answering the call, "Seojun?"

"Sister, are you alright?" Was the first question Seojun asked that had Seoyeon to lift her eyebrows.

"I am alright, peachy and energetic, what's wrong? Why do you suddenly ask how I am?"

Seojun bite into his lips. He had chased for the witch and watch Seoyeon from afar until the moment where he make sure the blue veins had disappeared. The change of her into a catalyst happened too fast when it should have taken a slower approach by going through four stages. Yet the blue veins were signs of the third stage. Another one stage and the catalyst would take over her body. If that happened, Seoyeon could never become herself again and the catalyst will take over her body.

"I just want to know whether you are alright," Seoyeon had learned about vampires and seeing today she must have learned about witches and Hunters. But Seojun didn't want to risk it by telling her that in fact she was a catalyst, a being that was told to doom the world with destruction. Moreover, he still hid the fact of him being a Hunter to her. Because Seoyeon was brought up like any other human, Seojun intended to keep this a secret to the day he dies and protect her from under the scene. But if she was going to turn into a catalyst, it would be a good decision to expose who he was before it was too late, thought him. "Is Mr Jung with you?"

"Jung Hwa?" She wondered since when the two had gotten closer but the thought of them being a closer makes her happy, "He is here," she turned to look at Jung Hwa who gave a nod, "Do you want to talk with him?"

"Please," Seojun said before Seoyeon gave the phone to Jung Hwa.

"I will take the phone there," Jung Hwa said as he make a few distance from Seoyeon. At first she questioned why but think that maybe it is a conversation that they could only share to each other. She then took a seat on the couch, choosing to look around and calm her state of mind.

Jung Hwa took one more glance at her before taking the call, "Were you there in the house?"

"I was the first to come there," Seojun confirmed, and Jung Hwa could guess he must have been the one that had created so much cracks on the walls as Seoyeon would be able to do that without having a sword or a sharp weapon. "Do you know what my sister is?"

"What she is?" Jung Hwa lifted his brows as his reflection on the window he faced did the same, "A child of a dark witch, a girl who have a catalyst inside them."

"So you know," frowned Seojun, "Is Seoyeon also aware of this?"

Because the amount of information they know was less about catalyst, Jung Hwa didn't want to risk it by hiding the answer. He suspected Seojun to know about Seoyeon after hearing his parents might have also been aware of this, "We went to the renown fortune teller which your aunt and parents went to. There she told us about everything. Including who Seoyeon was, and Seoyeon also knew everything including how part of her memories were sealed to surpass the catalyst."

"So you two have known it since the day you threatened my relatives," Seojun didn't say it out so spite but in realization. "Then you also knew she had gone to the first and second stage of turning into the catalyst?"

Jung Hwa frowned to the information which he didn't know, "First and second stage?" He repeated in question while holding Seoyeon's reflection on the window to his eyes.
