Chapter 268 - Family Time-II

Both Seoyeon and Jung Hwa left the place, on their way, she witness the bodies of people being dragged out by the Hunters who had came to the scene early. Thinking about Che Hara, the vampiress was a cream on top for being an egoistic and selfish young lady. Seoyeon know that Che Hara had done it wrong by accusing Jung Hwa of being a killer and she wouldn't forgive the vampiress for what she did that could almost take Jung Hwa's life, but no one should earn such a gruesome death or to be killed. The servants of this house didn't deserve this death either.

The more steps that Seoyeon takes, something strike clear in her mind: Dark witches are being of death, they are malicious, selfish, and greedy. What the dark witches want was clear and it was the highest position upon the three creatures. They want to be the supreme being.

But doing that took countless of innocent's life. But would they care? The answer was clear, they won't. Seoyeon felt it herself how she was chased, how the witches tried to kill her, and she had seen it by her eyes the joy they took by killing others.

Deeply in thought while watching the body of a man dragged and a woman crying over him, Seoyeon closed her eyes, "Were my parents no less than them?" The question was something she suppressed deep in her heart, hence her words felt heavy when it slipped her mouth.

Jung Hwa who stood beside her noticed of the darkness shadowed her eyes. "What do you think of your parents when you heard of them?"

"More than anger or embarrassment, I felt guilty," Seoyeon confessed as they make a quick step to search for their missing members. Each walls of the house now carve the horrific death. "If they were as the witches had said were dark witches who partake in killing purebloods and humans, I could never agree with their action nor forgive them. Furthermore, I felt sorry to the family of the people they have killed. It was not my fault and I know that being their daughter doesn't mean I shoulder their sins. But I feel I should."

Jung Hwa who was walking in front of her then suddenly turn his feet motionless. He stared at her and a gentle smile colored his lips, "What your parents did were their own fault. Maybe others would see you black just like your parents were; but I know it better than anyone of how pure you are. No matter what others spoke about you or how they directed their hatred from your parents to you, put a deaf ear on their words. What matters is how you see yourself. Others don't make you, it's you that make yourself. If you wish to be a bad person then you are, if you wish to be a good person I can attest this for you. In the end, your thoughts is what matters not others."

Seoyeon didn't know if she could smile but Jung Hwa had magic in his words that moved her, she smiled while looking at him, "That sounds a bit selfish."

"Humans, vampires, and witches; all this three creatures are selfish but that is how we strive in this world. It's wrong if we become overly selfish but a little selfish is enough. You don't have to put others before you every time; you could put yourself first because you deserve it. We become selfish to protect ourself and whoever blame us would be a hypocrite because deep down everyone does that," Jung Hwa said while tapping his index finger to his chest where his heart was located. "Do you get it?"

It's as if Seoyeon had resolved a deep burden that she had to shoulder, her heart felt lighter and she gave him a prompt nod, "We should go find them now," and when they said that Min Beomgyu appeared on the opposite end of the hallway with his shoulder supporting Yu Sheen whose shirt was drenched in blood.

"Miss Seoyeon!" Min Beomgyu beamed when he found Seoyeon first. He then turn to see the pureblood whose back was facing him. Seeing Jung Hwa, the white witch's eyes widened, "Mr. Jung you have also come? How did you escape from the jail?" he asked in surprise because there was almost no one who could ever escape from the jail yet somehow Jung Hwa was able to.

"You seems lively enough to bombard me with questions white witch," Jung Hwa's words had the action to have Min Beomgyu's lips pursed and all the curiosity suddenly disappear, "How is him?" Jung Hwa than question Yu Sheen who was on his shoulder with head dropped on the witch's shoulder. His eyes were closed tightly, appearing to be out of everything.

"He just fell asleep I think it is to compensate for the amount of power he used to heal himself," said the white witch, things went strangely but in the end Yu Sheen didn't die and that was great, he thought.

Seoyeon also breathed out in relief seeing how Yu Sheen didn't die. The last time she saw him, he was bleeding from a hole on his stomach that the axe witch carved. The hole had been closed which meant he had passed the terrible phase.

"There had been Hunters all over this place, I think they would be taking this case to them," said Min Beomgyu. "I managed to avoid them while coming here but if they found us I don't think they won't take me to their custody."

"We should leave this place," Seoyeon stated to Jung Hwa who was beside her, "I don't feel safe here with the Hunters."

"It should be fine," chimed Lee Young from behind them. The older pureblood vampire appeared in his early thirties even though his age was much older than Jung Hwa's grandfather who had come beside him. The elder pureblood had a long black hair swept to his left side, letting it loose all over his shoulders and his black shirt. His face was almost as if it was carved. Seoyeon had thought of it before. Vampires were mostly beauties and handsome men, but Jung Hwa and this man was in their own league.

The pureblood was comparably sexier than Jung Hwa due to him being older although Jung Hwa wouldn't lose if they are compared. They both posses the tall angular nose and sharp chiseled jaw. A clear pale-skin of a vampire that didn't make them too pallid to look dull that was perfect to their naturally red shaped lips. Their eyes were the decisive point as it both held a fiery sparks in them and the way it gazes people as if they were higher than them. The gaze was filled with confident but instead of turning people off, it instead turn others to be enchanted and before they knew it they have followed them.

Seoyeon had noticed how most women would be spellbound when looking at Jung Hwa as even though he never cared for it, attention of people always circled in him. Lee Young also held the same effect, and if Seoyeon took a closer look, she could feel them having a similarity that she could put her finger in.

Perhaps Jung Hwa looked much more similar to Lee Young than his own grandfather who Seoyeon finally see in real life. She turned her eyes at appeared to be of an older man than the rest of them who had been walking beside Lee Young. When their eyes met, the vampire smiled and Seoyeon felt the need to bow after returning his smile.

Lee Young continued, "I have talked to the head of the Hunters, Rum about you all. They shouldn't come to attack you three until further investigation," and the pureblood's eyes that were deeper in red shifted to Jung Hwa, "I have told you to behave in your jail but a bad boy as your mother had told me, I should not have expected you to stay obedient and calm in there, do I?"

Jung Hwa tugged the left corner of his lips, "I have my priorities. I wouldn't have come if the dark witches didn't come, and I would have possibly be a very good and obedient boy.." Seoyeon heard how Jung Hwa pulled his voice, emphasizing and the last few words he said that make it all the more insincere.
