Chapter 244 - To Sneak Inside-I

Clearly the noise inside the room turn louder after Jung Hwa's request. Most people didn't see themselves to agree with the idea. Even if currently Jung Hwa was still a suspect, Che Hara claimed to have seen him killed Chu Sunji in action. And no one would ever agree to let the criminal himself to leave the court to find the killer when they could use the chance to escape or bring an innocent and pose them as the killer.

Seoyeon was also shocked. Since they entered Jung Hwa hadn't told her anything about his plan to save himself and escape from the predicament, and because of how sudden they were brought here, she thought there should be no chance for him to think of a way to leave the court safely. But he appeared to be confident, betraying her earliest guess, thus meaning he must have an idea on who the killer was and only need to bring them to the court.

"Presumptuous!" The first judge, Mr. Du was quickly outraged by his request. The man turned his face toward Gwe Jeoknim. "With all due respect Head Associate, but I do strongly cross the idea of letting Mr. Jung away from the building. We all know that he is now the prime and only suspect of this case, agreeing to his request would mean letting go of the suspect!"

Only a few Associates members know of Jung Hwa's power, like the man who was currently speaking as he had a high standing inside the Associate. They all know how powerful Jung Hwa's blood command was, and now the only reason for Jung Hwa to stay idle was because his hand was shackled by the cuff that held a sealing power. Knowing Jung Hwa's thirst for blood, if anyone released the cuff, Mr. Du believe that he would go on an immediate kill.

Gwe Jeoknim raised his hand to stop Mr. Du, and spoke clearly, "What result could you bring?" asked him to the young pureblood who was relaxed. He appeared unbothered as though he knew long before that Che Hara had sent a witness statement against him.

"The killer, I can bring you them, here, right in this court," Jung Hwa pointed his hand to the ground.

In fact, Jung Hwa had learned about the false statement Che Hara made against him this morning, a little later before Deok JiHyeang came for him. Hearing it, he could guess a few things, like how Che Hara must be threatened.

Jung Hwa knew what kind of person Che Hara was, she was greedy but to achieve her goal she wouldn't dare to do dirty things by her own hands. Yet today, she had come forward as a witness even with the risk she had. Therefore, she must have been cornered and had no choice but to do this. Her lies were seemingly plausible, but she hadn't given enough evidence to support her statement.

Che Hara sat not too far on his left side, and her heart thudded harshly when hearing Jung Hwa's request. What did he meant by the killer? Was it the witchess? Or would Jung Hwa throw her under the flame like what she had done to him now?

If Jung Hwa meant to bring the witchess, that would be a light to her worry, but what if it was the latter case?

Jung Hwa could tell with what expression Seoyeon watched him with. Shocked, surprised, and far more relieved. She was relieved that despite his lukewarm acceptance of being suspected as the prime suspect, he appeared to have an idea so far on how to bring their true killer.

But then, the more Seoyeon rethought of the words he said earlier, she found something suspicious. If Hwa knows who the killer is, why does he need three days if he could bring the person directly?

"I also do not agree," unexpectedly it was Mr. Mu who had spoken. "While we haven't yet been able to find evidence to support Miss Che's claims, Mr. Jung is still the prime suspect with enough reason to kill Chu Sunji whether it is according to the witness Miss Che made or not because there was written reports about the argumentation Mr. Chu had with him before."

Jung Hwa said, "If little arguments could make me kill people, by now the sea would turn red from all the blood. I had been in many arguments before if you do not remember, but why did I chose Mr. Chu? And if I was the killer, I wouldn't have buried the body here when I could do more things that wouldn't leave evidence."

Gwe Jeoknim didn't comment, and Jung Hwa's words had a strong point, most judges couldn't find themselves to refute with.

Lee Young crossed his hand, bringing it forward on the table, he asked with a tolled smile, "Finding the killer is our purpose as the Associates, and we would like to find the killer more than anything. But releasing a suspect on a run to find the killer, is not something we could agree on."

"What if you don't need to release me?" The young pureblood questioned for more confusion to run amongst the people inside the courtroom.

Mr. Du raised his hand but Gwe Jeoknim beat him into it, "Explain what you say, Associate Jung. Do you mean you promise you could find the killer in three days without stepping out from this building?"

Gwe Jeoknim was a vampire who prioritize his work more than anything. To him, being able to find the killer with the fastest method is the best outcome he could have, especially without the need of the suspect to leave this building for them to keep an eye on him. The request was very tempting for hum to solve this case efficiently.

Jung Hwa pulled his grin wider, "Yes," he spoke his words in clarity enough for Seoyeon to feel her head ache. The point where he made the request relieved her, but now her worry had return in a greater amount enough to make her dizzy.

The fourth judge from the right who had a frown, was truly confused on what Jung Hwa would do, she asked, "And how would you be able to do that?"
