Chapter 217 - Witchy Study-I

Seoyeon looked at Jung Hwa, her eyes showing all the need to retort to him but she seemed to Jung Hwa to have lost her ability to speak, and she boldly took his hand away. Jung Hwa waved his hands toward Alfred, cueing him to bring the white witch somewhere else.

When they had gotten far enough, she brought and pushed him next to the wall, "What are you doing? I thought you will keep your lips tight?"

Jung Hwa twisted his lips, chuckling before he asked, "Like this?" He pursed his lips and the action had Seoyeon to sigh, "You should start speaking with words but not in min for me to understand, Seoyeon."

"I thought you would keep a secret that I am a dark witch?" she whispered to him questioning. She believed that he wouldn't be careless enough to spill the secret by accidental mistake.

"Yes I will," agreed Jung Hwa. "Don't worry Alfred will always be on our side per his contract and promise to my father; and I have told the white witch what you are. He would not betray us because he seems to be afraid of dark witchess. Remember, that he can't fight? As one of the dark witchess came to the Associates and he was afraid it would be his turn next so he came to be on my debt so I will protect him when times needed."

Jung Hwa truthfully could overturn their position in a single effortless move and have Seoyeon on the wall with his hand pressed beside her face but he had to admit how much he enjoyed being pushed to the wall.

"Thank you," whispered Seoyeon who then looked away to her hands and she retracted both her hands to the front of her clothes, "And sorry I wasn't doubting that you would give me to the associates and the authorities."

Jung Hwa pulled her chin, having fun with himself by seeing her expression, "Why would I give you? Such an adorable way of using the word giving. I will never give anything of mine to anyone you know. I just give my service to protect the white witch for a little longer in exchange to help you learn about yourself."

Seoyeon felt touched that he had thought so much for her and appreciated her kindness. "I was surprised that you announced aloud that I am a dark witchess you should have told me."

"I thought to give you a scare," Seoyeon gave him a look and Jung Hwa continued, "Don't worry he will keep a tight lip and for some reason even though he knows you are a dark witchess, he seemed to be not scared to come here."

"You didn't tell him about me being a catalyst too?" questioned Seoyeon curiously.

Jung Hwa brought his hand and pinched her nose, bringing it up for her chin to crane, "That's our little secret, my cute black cat. Just yours and mine," he whispered the words to her ears, making her head to go fuzzy and he leaned backward to catch her face and kiss her cheek.

The kiss surprised Seoyeon and when she was about to look at him he said, "I asked him briefly about the catalyst but he is not trustworthy enough for us to ask him about it."

"He doesn't?" Seoyeon asked as she saw there was the tone that made Jung Hwa to judge the man not to be trusted but seeing that he had revealed about her being a dark witchess meant there was a faint idea Min Beomgyu could be trusted but he had retracted his thought.

"He gave this heartbeat of a person who was reluctant and weighing. He didn't lie when he said he didn't know about the catalyst but that's not the truth either," explained Jung Hwa and he took the serious expression from Seoyeon with a smirk. "What got you so serious all of a sudden?"

"I just thought that your ability of hearing other's heartbeat is very handy. You can be a police if you keep this up," she said with a little envy as she can't hear other's heartbeat and know whether the person was telling the truth or lies.

"That would be an easy job but then I cannot beat or torture people so that profession is out of my list," he answered casually and Seoyeon could see him having no single matter when speaking of his past deeds that had been violent. "All we need from the white witch is to gather clues that we have very less right now. I think that by finding your relatives and the power inside you we can get somewhere close enough to find where these leech dark witchess are hiding at. Let's go back."

Seoyeon recalled everything including about her birth parents along with the questions she had been mulling in her mind. She gave Jung Hwa a prompt nod and followed him to walk from the hallway and came back to the room where Min Beomgyu had seated himself on. The white witch seemed unsettled on his seat that when the door was pushed open, the white witch's body flinched at its spot.

As if in cue, the white witch stood on his feet and Seoyeon heard Jung Hwa who had walked slowly beside her spoke, "You don't need to keep the formalities as I wouldn't be using it either."

The white witch didn't know what to response his words with and when his eyes met Seoyeon, the man bent his neck a little, "I heard about your friend's case. Of her being a half vampire after a dark witchess's potion."

The witchess potion, thought Seoyeon and she walked forward, "Do you know the cure?"

"So far right now I don't," the man sat down when he saw the rest of people had took seat as well while Alfred left. He then pulled his bag to the chair beside him and took out couples of books that were bind with a thick cover. "However, I have found some possible way to turn the potion of turning a human into Hollowed vampires. There was this one potion Mr. Jung managed to give to the associates," saying the words, he also placed the flask that was bright purple in color.

Seoyeon took the flask taking it gently to squint her eyes over it. From where she sees, the potion looked utterly harmless just like a plain water that was colored by ink.

Jung Hwa took it from her hand gently, "Remember a witchess can activate a potion," which was true and she let him took the potion to then place it on the desk.

"Is this potion that turn human into Hollowed vampires?" questioned Jung Hwa like Seoyeon he also see the potion looking harmless but it was often said how the most harmless things are the most harmful that one have to avoid. "Which reminded me that Seoyeon used one of the potion from the dark witchess."

Min Beomgyu instead of looking at Jung Hwa turned his gaze at Seoyeon, "You did?"

Seoyeon nodded her head slowly. She didn't know if it was a good news for her to be able to use a dark witchess' potion not to forget she was one which made sense she could use the potion to its fullest potential that the witchess's body disappeared to ash, "I didn't remember what color it was and with the scarce light I may have seen the color wrong. But when I threw the potion to the dark witchess's body, she turned to ash."

Min Beomgyu cocked his head, his brows pulled and he took time as if to give himself a room to think before saying, "It's fine if you do not know the potion's color but how did you made the potion to be affected?"

"What do you mean is that Seoyeon should not be able to use the potion?" inquired Jung Hwa who had sat diagonally in front of the white witch.

"No it should certainly work," droned Min Beomgyu, "All witches can use potions even if it was made by other type of witches. Just like when a white witch make a potion, dark witchess could use it. This also work vice versa, however, in your case it should have been pointless."

Seoyeon asked, "What make it pointless?"

Min Beomgyu looked at Seoyeon before to Jung Hwa and then he stared at the couple from the middle, "The potions do works but they can't affect the maker's kin. I mean, potions made by dark witches should not be able to affect the fellow dark witches. Taking not of that, it's hard to agree that you are a dark witchess when you could harm a dark witch with their potion."

"But I could and the witchess was certainly harmed. Hwa was there with me and he also saw it happen," Seoyeon attested. That was weird if potions made by witches could not affect witches, why did it work when she had used it?

"I can't say," Min Beomgyu looked at her with his brows pulled.. His expression was clear to show how confused he was. "Are you really a dark witchess, Miss Seoyeon?"
