Chapter 181 - Visitor Of Night-III

Jung Hwa raised his hand and the dagger came closer against his neck, drawing some blood out. "Don't move," Seojun warned his eyes didn't hold back the hostility it had. A cold glint came to cover his eyes.

"Or you will cut my neck?" asked Jung Hwa to the young man. Looking closer at his face, Jung Hwa seemed to have seen him before but he can't remember. "Oh well, all hunters look the same to my eyes," said Jung Hwa, putting his hand on the side, his nail grew out and his smile dropped slowly to the hunter who had intrude his sweet time with Seoyeon.

Seojun narrowed his eyes on the vampire who wasn't afraid. Was it because they he was not a normal vampire but a pureblood? Regardless, the vampire had taken his sister and it deserve a death. "I think it is the basic rule for you to be scared now. Remember the sword created for hunters is capable to kill you and leave your regeneration power useless."

"Which vampire are you speaking of?" asked Jung Hwa and before Seojun could react, he disappeared from standing in front of the hunter and appeared behind him. Catching Seojun's neck, Jung Hwa trailed his other hand that was idle to the blood on his neck. Taking the drop of blood he snapped his fingers. "You know there is a difference between vampires don't you? You are young but green. Stupidly coming to a pureblood's house and now you will use your life all for nothing."

Seojun struggled, releasing the dagger, he twirled the blade around to stab Jung Hwa's hand. He smiled when he managed to stab the vampire's hand, thinking that he would be released but instead, the grip turned tighter. "This is why I say you are young but green. Do you know most pureblood have a very low tolerance of pain. It hurts well of course, but I am made different than other vampire or pureblood themselves."

"Let.. me go!" Seojun pushed the words from his gritted teeth. His neck felt warm with blood that came from the vampire.

Jung Hwa's eyes fell to the hand that had been stabbed and his neck that had been wounded. Both wasn't wound that were terrible enough to mention but the fact that he wasn't able to heal himself wasn't to his liking.

His hand continued to bleed profusely like the human brat said it wouldn't heal properly as the dagger were made with the sole purpose to kill vampires. Jung Hwa reached out his hand, pulling the daggers and threw it to the ground.

"Do you think I am saintful enough to carry on your words and say oh yes okay, I will let you go? Humans. Stupid. Adorable. But sometimes too foolish to fix their mistake. You should have checked on me. What I am before carrying on with your plan. Like this all you will lose is your own life, tch," Jung Hwa didn't know what was going on inside the hunters' mind these days.

"I would have done that if you didn't take hostage," Seojun shouted his voice should be enough to wake Seoyeon as the place where they stood at was very near to her room but Jung Hwa had put an effort for Seoyeon to sleep and he can't have his pretty girl to wake up when she lack of sleep.

"I am not getting your words. Where is the hostage?" Jung Hwa was completely puzzled by the hunter's words. He never caught a hostage before as the people he caught always dis in the end. Had the hunter came to the wrong den?

"My... sister!" Seojun shouted. With the lack of weapon to wound Jung Hwa, he use his fingernails to claw over the pureblood vampire's hand.

"Sister," Jung Hwa raised his eyebrows before his hand let go of the young man's neck. A smile appeared on his lips that had disappeared since he took note of another presence in his house. "What did I do? You should have told me if you are Seoyeon's brother," he crouched down in front of Seojun whose back was pressed on the wall, coughing harshly as his throat was almost crushed.

"I almost killed you and make a grave mistake, tsk." A second longer and he would have killed the hunter. To add another name on the list of people he had killed didn't matter to Jung Hwa but Seoyeon's brother is an exception. Seoyeon had spoken about her brother once or twice and Jung Hwa could tell how much Seoyeon dote on him. If he killed the young man there would be backlash that doesn't do well to his favor.

"I didn't know you are a hunter," said Jung Hwa, pulling his hand to look at the wound created that was wide and he stared on his own palm where a hole had been made. "All I heard you were a human but not a hunter. I don't think Seoyeon know about this, right?"

"Don't call my sister's name easily you damned vampire!" Shouted Seojun only for him to have another bout of cough. His hand quickly pulled the sleeve of Jung Hwa's dark green sweater. "Release my sister!"

"I will if I am keeping her in cage but Seoyeon came here in her own accord. What you are accusing me of is baseless," Jung Hwa replied and he still saw Seojun's eyes looking at him with a glare before he frowned.

"What?" Seojun asked in confusion. "You are lying," he growled, "my sister will never associated herself with a vampire."

"On what base?" Jung Hwa asked him, "If I had taken your sister as a hostage, what will I get in exchange for her life? I offered Seoyeon a room to stay after she met a horrible plight," Jung Hwa explained, he placed his hands on his knees he bent while speaking to Seojun in a tone that were evidently different than before he knew Seojun was Seoyeon's brother. "I see that you don't know yet. Did your aunt and uncle did not tell you yet?"

In an instance a light appeared on Seojun's eyes after the mention of her uncle and aunt. "What did they do?" asked Seojun, his tone turning hostile and Jung Hwa's lips pulled wider.

"Before I tell you that. I want to know. Do you hide your identity as a hunter from Seoyeon?" asked Jung Hwa.

"So what?" Seojun watched the vampire with a still unfriendly look on his face which was a shame to Jung Hwa who thought they could be a rather close brother in laws. "Sister doesn't know that you are a vampire either."

"No, no, Seoyeon know I am a vampire for quite a long time now. She also know about the associates and she also know about how much your family want to erase her existence," replied Jung Hwa and he saw the boy slowly caught every words he said with a deeper frown. "Poor Seoyeon, she was crying on my chest earlier," Jung Hwa smirked, knowing what effect he did as Seojun's eyes looking at him wide ed with an intense glare. "You have a very horrible set of family, Not that I can say anything against it because my family was far worse than yours but you should rethink who to fight with now. I know you are not stupid."

"What did my uncle and aunt did?" Seojun question and rage had taken over his eyes that wasn't directed to Jung Hwa but his relatives.

"They tried to kill her by sending her to have her end into a mincemeat. They were going to sell her organs and took the money to pay for their debt," saying this Jung Hwa saw how his words sounded as if he had rang a bell in his mind. "You know how sad she was? She knew they didn't like her but to go so far as to kill. Humans calls beings like me monster but we can see clearly who is the monster, don't you agree?"

"Don't put us on the same page. You dragged her to the vampire's society," Seojun ground his teeth. How could this happen without his knowing? He had told Seoyeon to live with him out of fear this would happen but she rejected his idea, wanting to live in Seoul despite the danger. Now his fears came to live and his sister was involved with the vampires. "She is pure. She is a human, not a vampire, or a hunter. Why did you have to bring her to this world?"

"Hm," Jung Hwa inclined his head while staring at Seojun. Does he know Seoyeon is a witch with a catalyst inside her? He can't judge it simply by the words he said. "Seoyeon was about to be killed and I saved her, protecting her from the danger. Like you I do not have any intention to bring her to this world but fate exist and they are the one that want to bring your sister back to the life she has."

"The life my sister has? She is-" Seojun's voice quickly gone when he caught the sound of click from the door near them.

"Hwa?" called Seoyeon who walked out of her room hesitantly and it was a moment later did she sees Jung Hwa's figure standing near the living room. Pulling the collar of her sleep wear that slide from her shoulder, Seoyeon walked closer to the place and when her hands went to turn the lights on, Jung Hwa stopped her by saying,

"Don't turn on the light, Seoyeon," Jung Hwa's red eyes shifted from bellow toward Seoyeon.
