Chapter 167 - Premonition-I

Wan Seulgi stared at the moon which she wasn't able to see as black clouds were filling the sky. She then heard a very small footsteps which caught to her ears that directed from outside of her room. It was something that never happened when she was a human but now she has to accept bitterly how she had turned a half vampire.

For the past few days, Seulgi contacted Seoyeon, telling her not to visit her hospital room in order to wrap her mind in the entire situation. Today was the last day and she wondered if it was her who came to visit her.

When a knock came, Seulgi opened the door and her smile was pulled wide, "Doctor Lee, goodnight," she greeted the man whose eyes looked at her with a similar smile Seulgi had.

"I'm sorry for the late visit, I thought to come and check in case you need something." Doctor Lee was still using his white gown even though to Seulgi's knowledge it was time for Doctor Lee to leave the hospital.

"There isn't anything that I particularly needed," Wan Seulgi noticed how she had stalled the doctor to stand in front of the door and took one step back, "Please enter."

"Thank you," Doctor Lee took one step with his eyes still over Seulgi. "If there is nothing that I could provide or you needed. Can I lend you my ears?"

"Your ears?" questioned Seulgi while watching Doctor Lee leaving his place to the window Seulgi had opened wide.

"These past few days, you look sad and gloom. Stress is not good for your body and it is proved that if one speak out the concern they have in mind aloud, it would help to ease their stress. If you don't mind, I can listen to your story," said Doctor Lee whose eyes went back from the moon to Seulgi.

Seulgi went beside Doctor Lee who was standing near the window. She put her hands on the window's frame, "I fought with my friend. We never fought before and this time, I didn't only vent my frustration on her but also blamed her for something that she had no hold of."

"Is the friend you mentioned, the same woman who often came here?" inquired Doctor Lee to see Seulgi nod.

Seulgi said, "She doesn't have much friend but truthfully I don't have many friends either. She is my only friend, I think of her just like I think of myself," she then sighed, "I disappointed her by blaming her for the mistake that I did on myself."

"You know, not every friend or family didn't fight with each other," Doctor Lee said and Seulgi's head turned at him before the man's face turned to see her face. "I told you how I fought with my family didn't I? I also often fight with my friends. I think instead fights sometimes lead to a good thing."

Seulgi leaned the side of his face to her hands she crossed over the window's frame, "It is good?"

Doctor Lee nodded, "Everyone have in their heart anger or disappointment which lurks deep down but never said loudly. When they fight or angry, the emotions they surpassed inside will flood out and sometimes it will be venting anger on the other person but in the end, what they were stressing is out, letting your burdened heart to be in ease."

"Isn't that bad? I think venting anger on someone who isn't at fault, is instead worse. Even if it resulted in having a soothed heart," replied Seulgi.

"That's where this key word come, 'I'm sorry'," explained the man with a sweet smile. "People fights, it's inevitable but there is only a few people who would apologize. It would be great if one person start to say the word first. Then the other would forgive and you can start to be the better version of yourself. That is fight, Miss Seulgi. You lose yourself in anger, feeling guilt after anger, and you receive a golden lesson."

"Is it that simple, really? I said sorry but I'm afraid she'll think different of me," Seulgi responded, pushing herself to stand straight.

"It is simple. You have to trust your friend that she had forgiven you. Also, many often said that fights only strengthened a bond," Doctor Lee retracted his hands from the frame of the window, "Just make sure not to burst into anger and do something you cannot rewind. There should be a limit to anger too. We should close the window, the night wind isn't good for sick people," and after his words, Doctor Lee closed the window.

The two talked for a good few minutes before it was time for Doctor Lee to leave. "I'll come again next time, Miss Seulgi."

"Good night, doctor Lee," said Seulgi who was now seated on the bed.

"Lee Taehyung," the man corrected to receive Seulgi quizzical expression, "My name is Lee Taehyung and I would like it if you can call me by my name," Lee Taehyung rubbed his cheeks as if shy then added, "I'll go now, good night."

Once Lee Taehyung closed the door, Seulgi felt her cheeks reddened and she turned her body to flop on the bed. It had been days since she drank blood and there was a few occurrence when she felt thirsty but it soothed down whenever she saw Lee Taehyung which was like a magic in Seulgi's mind.

Meanwhile, Lee Taehyung who left the room pushed his hands on his pocket. Remembering Seulgi, a smile came from his lips and he continued to walk when he noticed how the lights on the hallway flickered on and off. His feet continuously walk until he bumped to someone.

"I'm sorry," said Lee Taehyung who knew how he was at the fault for keeping his eyes on the ceiling.

"Still playing to be doctor, brother?" came the voice which dropped Lee Taehyung's smile at the man.

"What are you doing here?" asked Lee Taehyung with a defensive tone, "This is the hospital brother, you are not supposed to be here."

"You should question how I am doing before questioning what I am going to do here, don't you?" The man asked with his face still covered with the hood of his black jacket.

"You look healthy enough to walk and I don't see why I should ask if you are doing well," Lee Taehyung snipped, his tone was unwelcoming as he spoke to his older brother who was taller then him.

"Haha," his older brother pulled the hood from his face, showing the exact same face Lee Taehyung has with the difference of their eye color with one holding a brown eye color and the other one having a deep blue color. "You are cocky by time aren't you? I haven't met you for thirty years but you are the same as always," the older brother raised his hand to pull the white gown Lee Taehyung wore. "Even when I have been seeing you wearing the white gown for twenty years it never suit you."

Lee Taehyung raised his hand and swatted his older brother's hand away, "My question exactly. It had been thirty years why do you have to be here?"

As if he hadn't heard anything, the older brother continued, "Black gown suits you better, you should dye it soon but red would be great too. I can make the dye if you need."

Lee Taehyung swatted his hand again that went to reach his gown, "I'll leave if you still wish to joke."

"Touché," the man cackled in joy, "I just came to search for something which I don't find when I saw a drop of blood here that came from a pureblood vampire. It was only a drop, not too much. Then I saw you. It's funny how you are trying to look like a white witch. Even though the kind doctor Lee is a-"

"Stop messing around, Taein," Lee Taehyung interjected his smile was no where to be found and the brothers looked at each other with friction. "I don't know if you want the blood of a pureblood vampire but to break it to you, this hospital have no pureblood vampire or vampires."

"Really?" asked Lee Taein with his brows raising.

"Of course. If there is one, I will be the first one to know," answered Lee Taehyung with his expression passive.

"I don't question your ability. I know how excellent you are. There should never be any vampires who could escape your sight. If you think you have enough of this charade of being a doctor who save others, come back home. Mother will be over the sun if she knows you are coming back home," Lee Taein raised his hand and patted his brother's shoulder. "Good bye."

Lee Taehyung only watched his older brother's wife grin without reacting or responding. Once his brother left, he sighed, his frown deepening. This was far dangerous than he thought with the appearance of Wan Seulgi to the hospital it was only to some extent he could hide the appearance of the vampires.. "What should I do with her?" he mumbled in thought and the smile that had fallen kept set in a straight line.
