Chapter 163 - Who Is The Monster?-III

On the reply, it slowly sinks deeper to Seoyeon as if a claw digging to her heart that her aunt and uncle had indeed colluded to sell her off to pay their debt. It angered a Seoyeon how her uncle and aunt had spoken as if it was an honor for her to die for the good sake of the family.

She stared at them, her eyes setting off a look of disgust to the two people who had no remorse or guilt after their own action. "Repay you?" asked Seoyeon with a smile, "If I want to repay you, auntie, I would have you to starve the only thing you ever provided me was this roof not by sacrificing myself for you."

Her uncle who was in pain still managed to laugh while staring at Seoyeon and Jung Hwa's eyes stared at what the man was doing, "The only thing we provided you was not only roof, we let you live when you could have died somewhere else. You should be grateful to our kindness which was a blessing to you. I heard from Minhae that you caught a man who is fine. If you keep yourself pretty maybe you could sleep with him an ask for him to pay for your debt- ARGH it hurts!" cried Seoyeon's uncle.

Seoyeon draws in her brows at the sharp scram while her eyes look at Jung Hwa who was smiling widely, enjoying the screaming. Somewhere in the beginning she had pegged Jung Hwa to be a person with a masochist nature but she knew he was the opposite.

"You are noisier when you scream. Stop screaming unless you want your wife to have the same wound in her hands now," Jung Hwa warned and Seoyeon's uncle clammed his lips as if not to let his cry to leave his mouth. "Most humans are disgusting but by far, you have exceeded to be the most repulsive people I have seen. Repeat what you said just now and we should see if your tongue will stay where it is now."

On their silence, Jung Hwa turned his head at Seoyeon before turning to her uncle again, "So how long have you two been planning for this?" The question had both her uncle and aunt to jolted and it wasn't only Jung Hwa who noticed this but also Seoyeon. "Since when did you stay in this house, Seoyeon?" He asked her.

Seoyeon blinked, she didn't expect him to call her name now and spoke, "Since I was eighteen."

"Eighteen," repeated Jung Hwa who then ask, "How long have you stayed here then?"

"Twenty one," she replied and every words escaping from her mouth was pressed from her tone.

"Which means you have stayed three years in this house and you have planned to kill her for three years? Or maybe even long before that?" asked Jung Hwa and he noticed how Mr. Han tried to push the knife away.

The sly man, thought Jung Hwa with a grin. He pulled the knife from the man's hand, throwing it across him for the knife to swung and stuck inside the wall. Mr. Han felt the wound aching worse when the knife was pulled out roughly and as it wasn't the end yet, Jung Hwa's hand capture his neck and pulled him from the other side of the table to his side, dragging the man who was struggling on the ground.

"You come with me," said Jung Hwa and his words were directed to Mrs. Han who was thunderstruck by his cruelty. "Or else your husband will die."

"Where are you going?" Seoyeon asked him, there was no way they are going out now, would they? Because Jung Hwa seemed as if he was prepared to go.

"Upstairs, I have been hearing sounds of heartbeat there. This is not all to your family, is it? We have to gather everyone so we could talk," Jung Hwa walked first, dragging her uncle from the floor with less effort and ascended to the stairs. She saw her aunt quickly run to follow Jung Hwa out of fear her husband would be killed by the insane man.

When reaching to the room where he heard the sound of heartbeat, Jung Hwa raised his leg to kick the door down and woke up the young woman who was sleeping on the bed. Han Minhae quickly raise on her bed, surprised to see how there was a man walking to her room before noticing her father dragged by the man whose hand was gripping to his neck.

"Father!" Minhae shouted and when the lights were on, she took a clearer look to find her father's hands were wounded with blood streaming and her mother following from behind with a pale face.

It was only a while until Seoyeon entered that Minhae's expression hold the same expression her parents had when accepting Seoyeon and Jung Hwa's surprise appearance inside their house.

When Jung Hwa took a seat on the comfy chair which was low that his long legs stood out, Han Minhae's eyes snapped at him from Seoyeon.

"Aren't you Seoyeon's boss?" Han Minhae who had seen Jung Hwa previously knew who he was but she couldn't comprehend why the man would be here, "Release my father!" said Minhae who took a long time to notice Jung Hwa's hands were capturing her father's neck.

Mrs. Han came beside her daughter while Seoyeon stood beside Jung Hwa where she felt the most comfortable at. Even though she knew Jung Hwa for a shorter time then her uncle and aunt, she felt more accustomed to him.

Jung Hwa smiled while staring at Seoyeon, noticing what the little cat did by going closer to him instead of standing on the corner of the room.

"Is this your cousin, Seoyeon?" asked Jung Hwa, pulling her into the conversation where the other two women stared at him with their eyes cautious and fear.

"She is," she replied briefly and saw how Minhae glared at her with a flared anger. When she entered, Seoyeon didn't miss how her cousin looked at her with a puzzled expression. "You know that uncle and auntie is going to sell me to pay the debt, don't you?" asked Seoyeon, her voice coming out slow from her mouth.

"What are you saying, I don't understand? Tell him to release father's neck!" demanded Han Minhae and his parents looked away as they were unable to tell their daughter how it had been found out they sold Seoyeon to pay their debt.

"Young lady, you will have to be honest before your hands end up like your father's, tch. Another lie you spout will result you to lose your father forever," Jung Hwa's red eyes snapped at the woman who feared him and walked to the corner of her bed in fear. There was no joke tone from Jung Hwa's time and his gaze was like a beast that didn't care who he would eat tonight to fill his stomach.

Jung Hwa's eyes then fell to Mrs. Han, "And you. I know in your mind you are thinking to run from the house and yell to call your neighbors," Mrs. Han flinched from her spot, shocked that Jung Hwa had read clear the plan she held in mind. "But let me tell you as someone who could see the future that before you could step from the house and plead for help like your husband tried to do, I will rip your limbs." A drop of chill come after his words, turning the air of the room heavy to take.

Seoyeon knew that Jung Hwa had ceased playing with the family like he did earlier in the kitchen by pawing them to feel the fear. He was now serious. If one of the three people tried to escape, Jung Hwa wouldn't hesitate to kill them.

"How long have you planned to kill me?" It was Seoyeon who asked, she watch her aunt's expression and her cousin's expression that look at her as if she was the outsider who had intrude to their peacefulness. It was a look that Seoyeon felt whenever she met the family.

"If all you wanted was inheritance from my parents you could have taken it and let me and my brother live away from you. Yet whenever I tried to disappear from all of you, you stopped me," Seoyeon said with a puzzled look. "What exactly do you want from me and did you also took Seojun's name stamp so after I died paying your debt then you would use Seojun?"

Her aunt laughed after her words, a loud cackle from her mouth as if she was laughing at Seoyeon's stupidity, "I didn't took Seojun's name stamp. Why would I kill my own niece? You don't get it," sighed the woman after her laughter.

"What do I not get?" Seoyeon asked her, "Am I not your niece?"

Jung Hwa saw how Mrs. Han raised her brows at Seoyeon and a lopsided smile came on her lips, "Are you really questioning that to me?"
