Chapter 156 - Secret Books-II

Seoyeon passed her forehead with her hand and pushed her hair to the back. A sigh escape from her lips. "I don't think you understand this Minhae but unless and until you are someone who is acquainted with Mister Jung, you will never be able to meet him. If this is all you have to say, I will leave and tell your dearest father and mother that debt you shoulder, I will never pay them."

After making points she needed, Seoyeon turned her back and left. She heard Han Minhae yelling her name but to speak with her older cousin anymore would only make her want to throw the woman to the ground.

Seoyeon went to the elevator, seeing people she knew, she greeted to see how there was people cleaning for a room. Turning away from the elevator, she went to see what room was cleaned, to see that the room was a storage room.

"Secretary Han," greeted the person who cleaned the storage room. "It's larger when it's empty, right?"

"Yes," Seoyeon replied first to then ask, "I didn't remember requesting to clean this storage room. Is this room occupied for anything?"

"I don't know Mister Jung asked us to," replied the man, who wondered in his mind how Seoyeon doesn't know the room would be clean when she was beside the CEO for twenty four hours. "I have a question Secretary Han, where should we bring this boxes?"

Seoyeon looked at the box, reaching out her hand to open the box, she saw that inside was books, old books. Taking one to her hand, she wiped the dusts clouding on it. Opening one page, she read the word 'witches' to close the book at once.

Why is this here? Seoyeon asked herself, confused while staring at the three large box. Internally she almost flinched and throw the book in surprise but was able to keep it down. Jung Hwa didn't leave this on purpose, would he? Is this all important books?

"Secretary Han?" The man who was still holding the box asked, feeling heavy as the box was filled with thick books. He noticed the change in expression Seoyeon made.

"Please bring this to Mister Jung's office," Seoyeon instructed with her head shaking, leaving the storage room, she hurried to the elevator to make her way to Jung Hwa's office.

Arriving in front of his door, Seoyeon sighed. After the kiss, she didn't think she could enter casually. Unless she had turned to Jung Hwa, the pureblood who would not feel shy.

While she lingered outside the door. The door opened, Jung Hwa leaned out from the door and she saw how his smile broadened in his handsome face, a certain glint appeared on his eyes. "I know two kisses isn't enough, asking for the third one now, are we?"

On his words blood rushed to Seoyeon's head. Her eyes which stared back at him, turned away, unable to contain the feeling she had in her heart. "Books," was the first word she managed to see with her eyes looking somewhere on the door, while noticing how Jung Hwa's stars were piercing to her as she was in front of him. "there were book in the storage you requested to clean. It seemed like an important books and I told them to bring the boxes to your office."

Jung Hwa raised his brow in her words and a hum accompanied. "I don't think they understand my words clear. I asked them to bring the box to my office not to clean the storage room, tch, those two ears they have must be an ornament."

"Did you bring those books here?" asked Seoyeon because it seemed to her that Jung Hwa know about the books. "The books are about witches."

"Oh, you've seen them. Those books I receive are my hard work years ago to accumulate books about witches," explained Jung Hwa casually who then saw Seoyeon's eyes had gone back to stare at him. "I was moving house but as it was in a hurry, I moved it there first."

"I didn't know you were moving house," Seoyeon remarked.

"I didn't think I should report that to you but that does make a point that I should in the future. We can choose a house together, to live together," Jung Hwa smiled as their gazes locked on each other, "can't wait for that day."

Seoyeon knew Jung Hwa was trying to sway her heart and mind which did work. She bit her the inside of her cheeks. "I don't know if I love you," confessed Seoyeon, the words came unexpected Jung Hwa and his smile stopped to turn into a calmer one than the wicked grin.

Jung Hwa raised his hand gently pushing back the hair to tuck the black lock behind her ears. "You don't know?" He asked her, encouraging her words that was still unvoiced from the top of her tongue.

In action to wet her lips, Seoyeon ran her tongue over the seam. "I want to answer your feeling right but I don't know about love. This is my first time."

"I thought you had relationship before with another man?" There was displeasure mingling to his words as he asked her. Jung Hwa knee how past was something unchanged. Like him, Seoyeon had her past, flitting feelings to other man which made him regret not meeting her any sooner.

"Once in highschool but that wasn't a proper relationship," she said, it was more of a puppy love where one doesn't think too much about love and whatever it was. "How do you know that your love for me is different?"

Sometimes Seoyeon couldn't understand her own emotions. This had started since children and fortunately at the time there were Mr. and Mrs. Han who taught her about emotions. Yet love for a man and woman was the only thing she didn't learn. Seoyeon was afraid that her love was different than Jung Hwa which would only make him disappointed.

Jung Hwa hummed, his two fingers tip toe from her forearm to her hands, taking the fingertips. "There are ways to know about it, do you want to try?" On his words an underlying enticing tone as if to bring Seoyeon to a trap came. "You just need to answer my questions but truthfully. I can help to tell you if it is a lie."

Seoyeon felt her toes curled in the fragile situation where it felt to her as if she was diving to the inner depth of her feeling which she didn't know. She brought her head to nod in agreement and saw the wicked grin came to bless his face again.

"Does you heart beat faster to me?" He asked her, the first question was still a simple one.

Seoyeon's lashes fluttered like the thin wings of butterfly floating against the harsh wind. "I think so." and even now, her heart was racing where it almost felt to her as if she had run marathon.

"That isn't a lie. Then next, do you think you could kiss anyone the way you did to me?" Jung Hwa saw how her eyes widened and her cheeks blushing so red that tomatoes would lose in term of color when compared to her.

Seoyeon imagined kissing someone else. Could she kiss anyone like she did with Jung Hwa? If it was someone, pushing her to the wall, kissing her lips, whether the person maybe a vampire or not, she would do anything to stop the man. Yet when she had kissed him, there was barely resistance. She let herself to be kissed, and didn't feel angry of it.

"No," she responded, her voice turning meeker and smaller almost sounding like a hushed whisper. Not knowing how Jung Hwa's eyes had turned red, glowering on the words she uttered as if it was delicious.

"Now imagine there was a beautiful woman, a vampiress or human, hugging me, whispering words to my ears, and kissing me," Jung Hwa tested, his voice slow to uttered each words as if to let Seoyeon imagined each situation he told her to do. A split of glint appeared on Seoyeon's eyes where discomfort grew on her heart.

Seoyeon tried to think when the image of the vampiress she met in the Associates Building appeared on her mind. She watched the woman hugging Jung Hwa's arms, her red lips whispering to his ears where her hand covered her mouth as if to not let anyone know the contain of their conversation. Then came the image where the woman was pushed to the wall like she did and Jung Hwa devouring her lips.

As if a thorn had circled around her heart, Seoyeon felt her chest ache. It wasn't only discomfort she felt but pain. The feeling where it felt as if she was a third wheel make her want to run away from seeing the scene and at the same time, she want to pull Jung Hwa away for the vampiress,

With her brows furrowed Seoyeon looked up at Jung Hwa. Her hand which Jung Hwa hold on was clenched, "Don't do that." requested Seoyeon, her voice turning smaller in whisper.

Her other hand was on her chest, crumpling her shirt on the place where she felt it hurt.

Jung Hwa felt as if it wasn't enough. He still want to play with her a little longer and although he knew it was bad of him, hearing Seoyeon's words that sounded like she was professing her love for him unleashed him to push her to the edge of her seat even more, wanting to hear more of her words.

"Don't do what, Seoyeon?" Jung Hwa spoke in a hushed tone as if to tell her a very important secret just between the two of them.

Seoyeon stared at him. He knew what she meant but want to hear the word directly.. In the passing silence she parted the lips she pursed, "Don't kiss anyone else."
