Chapter 150 - Sweet Candy Lips-III

Seoyeon saw him pulling a bag. Wondering what it was, she opened the bag to be greeted with money. Her eyes snapped wide and darted to look at Jung Hwa who had already rip a candy bag and placed one to his mouth, rolling the round shape across his tongue to give him a sense of sweetness.

"What's this?" she asked him with her eyes looking back and forth from Jung Hwa who seemed calm and the bag of money. She didn't know how much it was but it could be more than ten million won.

"The headmaster offered us the money, you could use it for yourself." Jung Hwa grinned at her surprised expression.

"The money isn't his or ours. We should place it back," If the money belongs to the children of the orphanage it would be not good for her to take it.

"Once we placed it back, the caretakers would spend it for their liking." Jung Hwa said which was true and it made Seoyeon frown. "Take it, I have another present for them so the orphanage children would live better than being with them."

Seoyeon heard a crack sound, noticing how he had bite on the candy and crushed it with his teeth, "You would help them?" she asked.

"I would not lie to you, why do you look surprise? Is it odd for me to save anyone?" Jung Hwa asked her back, his eyes peering to her.

Yes but at the same time no, thought Seoyeon to herself. She had seen Jung Hwa helped her friend but also seen him hurting other, "You don't know them and I thought you wouldn't involve yourself in saving others you don't know." Seoyeon said. There was the time when he said he never helped others and had helped only to be in a good light to her eyes.

"I don't know them but you know them by helping the children means taking a reward from you again." His reply was sincere without lies that Seoyeon appreciate.

Her eyes then stayed at the candy on his mouth and the sound of cracking. "Did you took the candy from the orphanage?" she asked because she never seen Jung Hwa bringing any candy with him before.

"Mhm, it's from the reception, do you want to taste it?" asked Jung Hwa, rolling the candy again to his tongue, tasting the sweetness with his eyes falling on her lips that color was bright pink having the same color as the candy he had taken.

Did Jung Hwa brought two? Seoyeon was in mood for a candy after all her stress piling up in the back of her mind. She reached out her hand in hope for the candy, "Yes please."

Jung Hwa twist his lips and before Seoyeon could comprehend his smile which was filled with mischief, she felt the hand she stretched out pulled. A crack sound came as Jung Hwa bite on the candy, and his hand went around her waist, bringing her closer. Seoyeon who was surprised by his action opened her lips when his face descended to her.

Seoyeon's eyes went wide feeling Jung Hwa's lips on her. Not knowing what to do, she then felt him pushing something inside her hard which was hard and felt like a sweet crystal. Jung Hwa wanted more but he stopped, his tongue peeking out to brush her lips, tasting the left over sweetness from the candy to say, "It's sweet, isn't it?" he asked.

Seoyeon couldn't tell what was sweet that Jung Hwa talked of. Was it the candy or was it the kiss? She couldn't tell what was what. The kiss make her lose her mind in the clouds, her heart drumming fast as if she had run out of breath. She couldn't believe what happened as it took place in seconds. "Why do you kiss me?" Her innocent question turned her cheeks redder.

"Because I want you." Jung Hwa took her palm, placing kiss that was hot which made her feel the burn in every spot he kisses. Starting from her fingertips to her palm and her wrist, "You don't want me however I want everything about you. Your hand, your eyes, your heart. All for myself." His tongue ran over his lips where he had kissed her earlier. "And I want you to feel the same about me."

Jung Hwa released her hands, before he left he heard a quivering sigh from Seoyeon. Her chest heaved up and down for breaths that ran out from her lungs on his kiss. He hadn't done anything yet. There was still more he wanted to do, the kiss earlier couldn't be said as a kiss but rather a peck. Jung Hwa who tasted her once knew the sweetness and want to do more.

His eyes taunted Seoyeon not to make her feel the fear but one that came from the heat he felt that didn't dissipate. There was the glint of wanting to his eyes that almost seem as if he want to eat her alive, leaving not even her bones that made Seoyeon to shudder.

In the silence Seoyeon didn't know what to do or say. Her mind could only repeated his words running across her ears and the texture of his lips that still stayed on her lips. Seoyeon purse her lips when she watch the severe look on his face and when he moved, her back stuck behind to the door.

"Good night." said Jung Hwa before placing the framed picture over the bag and pushed the button for the door to open automatically. Seoyeon took the bag and stepped out her cheeks, were still red and her heart loud.

Once she came back to her room, the girl ran to leaned her back on the door, her hands cupping to her cheeks. Today she kissed... Jung Hwa.

There were too many things happening today to her but by far the kiss made everything blown away. In her mind there was only the thought of his lips pressing to her and the candy she had swallowed in surprise. Seoyeon brought her hand over her lips feeling the texture of her lips that were sticky from the candy to close her eyes and she sped up to her bed wanting to end the night by sleeping off the thoughts she had.

On the same night, a woman walked alone in the alley where people rarely come to pass by. As the woman had to work late, she held the bag on her possession tight to look on the ground where she watch how a shadow looming behind her. From the shadow, the woman could see how the person had covered himself from top to bottom using a jacket to cover his entire face.

The woman stepped faster, afraid as the person had said nothing and staggered oddly. When she walked faster, she noticed how the person following her also fastened the step. In panic, the woman began to run to be chased by the man.

When the woman managed to run in speed with her heels and ran to a safest place behind boxes, she covered her mouth. Fear came to the woman which make her body shudder. Just in time when she heard no one, a breath of relief escaped from her mouth which was short as she she noticed the shadow on the ground behind her, seeing hands ready to catch her neck.

The woman closed her eyes, expecting to be dragged and beaten when she heard nothing to smell a burnt fragrance. Turning her head, she saw a young man who was tall and his charming face looking at her gently.

The young man reached out her hand to the woman, "Are you alright, miss?" he asked and his brown eyes looking with a worried look.

The woman could tell he was someone who had saved her and took his hand as tears filled her eyes, "W-Where is the man, s-someone followed m-me earlier." she stammered.

"Oh, that person." said the young man and his eyes fell down on the ground where dusts like ashes had gathered in a pile. "He is someone that doesn't belong to your world. May I know your name, Miss?"

The woman's eyes blinked a few time at him, unable to understand his words but still replied to the young man's question, "Lee Sunny."

"Lee Sunny." repeated the young man whose smile soothed the heart of the woman, "I am Han Seojun. Can you stand up?" asked Seojun to help Sunny to stand up from the place she had fallen from.

When Sunny had stood up, she heard a clink, her eyes looked up at Seojun's shoulder to realize a short shaft that seemed like a sword. As Sunny had only stared at his face, she didn't realized the sword Seojun had.

Out of fear, Lee Sunny forcefully retracted her hand, and looked at Seojun in doubt. "Who are you?" she asked trying not to show her fear by demanding which failed as he voice was uneven.

"The hunter." Seojun replied when Sunny suddenly felt her neck pricked, her hand went to cover the spot she felt pricked and her body staggered to fall down. In time, Seojun reached out his hand to catch Sunny from crashing to the ground and his eyes went to look at the man behind him. "Was that necessary?" asked Seojun, looking at the man who was not very much taller than him with a frown.

"My words. Was it necessary for you to talk with the victim? They'll forget it soon anyways." scoffed the man, walking to the pile of dust, the man then spoke, "What was it, a hollowed vampire? Or was it just a hungry vampire?"

"A hollowed, we can't kill vampires if you forget." replied Seojun and the man looked at him with a frown.

"Are you sure that was a hollowed vampire? He did staggered but people he didn't attack on her like a madman. It's as if he could think.." said the man his hand went to move the dusts.
