Chapter 147 - In A Snap-III

The headmaster took three times to repeat the words Jung Hwa said, calling someone else's name to be surprised when seeing the figure behind him as the entire time the man thought he was alone with the devil.

Seoyeon didn't stepped out but when Jung Hwa smiled at her and say, "Come a little closer," her feet walked beside him.

By the name only the headmaster has a hard time to fish out his memory and remember who was Seoyeon. His eyes were hard to open but as he was brought a few centimeters away from the ground he could take Seoyeon's appearance as a beautiful woman with long black hair and black eyes. She was a beautiful that had the headmaster to wonder if he ever seen someone like her before because of the name that felt familiar.

"Seoyeon?" repeated the headmaster and Seoyeon clenched her hand in disgust as her name was called by the man. There was indeed one name that make the headmaster recall.

Jung Hwa tightened his grip when the headmaster called Seoyeon's name, having the man to struggle again, "Finally remember her?"

The headmaster glared at Seoyeon, "So it was you who call this devil here!" his luck was bad just because he had done a few thing to Seoyeon now she had called someone to kill him! "I knew it in the future you'll call a devil!" yelled the man who growled at Seoyeon even when his neck was on Jung Hwa's captive.

On the words, Seoyeon's hand flinched and Jung Hwa's brows were raised. It appeared this human man know something more that Seoyeon didn't know.

"Call a demon? Fascinating. How do you know that?" his hand gripped right enough for the headmaster to almost feel as if his eyes would bulge out before loosening when the man was about to die out of suffocation. "Speak and I'll let you alive."

Having hope he could be left alive, the headmaster quickly grasp to the chance. After huffing enough breaths before he was about to die, the man explained, "I-In the past s-she kept talking nonsense! She keeps on talking in words no one could understand when she first come to the orphanage. The language, they weren't language use in any country but words that are evil sounding."

The headmaster was sure of it because he was someone with knowledge and yet he couldn't grasp what language Seoyeon was talking of. It had always sounded eerie when Seoyeon spoke in the unknown language.

Seoyeon drew her brows, she had no recollection of hers where she had spoken in other languages and believed that the headmaster was lying as since before all the man had done was nothing but lies. But Jung Hwa is here and his neck was on his grasp and she doubted the man could lie at the same time, Jung Hwa didn't seem to say the man had lied.

Then was it true?

The human man continued, "She w-would often speak and laughed on her own. She was very different from the rest of the children in the orphanage! Some times the caretakers couldn't help but pity her, something about her attracted others t-that was eerie. In many times she often didn't sleep at night and when we came to her room she would be there in the corner playing with something unseen."

Jung Hwa narrowed his eyes. There was no single lie he could sense from the man's heartbeat from his words. He turned his face at Seoyeon whose expression was confused and at lost. When their eyes met, Seoyeon shook his head, "I don't know that ever happened."

The human man scoffed and interjected, "Because s-suddenly one day you become human like! However we wouldn't believe in crazy person like you."

Jung Hwa who was tired with the man's blabbing beside his ears, swiped his hand across that was holding the man, throwing him across the room to the wall. As he promised he didn't took his life to the headmaster's relief. When he was finally out of the grasp, the man huffed for breaths to feel a shattering pain on his leg again.

"Ahh!" The headmaster yelped in pain, "You s-said that you w-would let me l-live!"

"You are still alive, aren't you?" Jung Hwa said he would let go of the man's neck but he didn't promise he wouldn't break a few of his bones. He can't kill human without reason but there are ways to twist the edict Associates gave.

His grin tilted to turn his face at Seoyeon who was once again stunned by the shock. Seoyeon was once again surprised by herself, the part of her she never knew. Was it why people in the orphanage had always watched her with the odd eyes that held mixture of fear and disgust? Because long before she had done things that were not normal?

What was she? The question riled Seoyeon to stay rooted on her ground.

Jung Hwa pressed his feet, the bones on the man's leg was almost grounded each second his shoes squashing the part of the limbs down. Screams came from the man's mouth which intensified when the bones were crushed, "What about her parents, do anyone know of it?"

"T-They've died!" The headmaster know not to lengthened the pain and with his cold sweats producing he raised his hand from holding his leg Jung Hwa stepped on to point the only desk in the room, "The a-address to t-their cemetery is in the b-book of children o-on that shelf!"

"Thank you." said Jung Hwa before he flattened the bone he had stepped on.

Hearing the crushing and grounding sound, Seoyeon's right eye couldn't help but to squint in wince. When Jung Hwa stepped away to take the book inside the desk, she watched how the headmaster was holding his leg where the bones inside were turned to powder. The headmaster held on his broken leg and whined in pain.

The anger she had somewhat lessened after seeing how the headmaster was in pain.. It may be correct she had been a strange girl in the past but that doesn't condone what the man did to her or other caretakers.
