Chapter 135 - Identity Change-I

The wind that came from the window away from them was cold, turning chiller by the time Wan Seulgi felt herself cornered by Jung Hwa. Her mind was thrown in panic. What happens? How did this man know about her lies? If Jung Hwa claim he could see through her lies from her expression that would be a lie because the man now had an expression of voidness and he was sure he had known it correct.

Jung Hwa, on the other hand, knew his responsibility. He had saved Wan Seulgi from the witchess' lair without telling the associates which was why she is still clear now. If Wan Seulgi kept on hiding what he should know and ended up affecting others, he would be the first one that had to put a stop into it.

By what he heard Wan Seulgi had drank a potion from the witchess and he had to know what the potion had effect on her. As much as Jung Hwa thought not much of Wan Seulgi and there was the idea where he could leave the matter aside, she was still Seoyeon's friend.

Although Jung Hwa hadn't heard fully about their past he could tell how Seoyeon thought Wan Seulgi nothing less than her own sister. If Wan Seulgi died, it would make Seoyeon sad and he wasn't looking forward to see her sweet girl's tears. He also didn't want anything indirectly to come harming Seoyeon at the end.

"I'm not going to eat you, stop making that face," Jung Hwa started before rolling his eyes. Was he a demon or somewhat for the human girl to look at her the way she did now. He had only came to the human girl to check her if her vitals were stable. "What happened that night and don't lie. This is the last time."

Wan Seulgi tightened her clenched hands. She believed she shouldn't tell this but at the same time the words Jung Hwa uttered the last underlayed a sincere warning that make her couldn't help but to feel frightened by him.

Wan Seulgi's lips open to say, "I was drunk, walking aimlessly in the street when in an alleyway, I witness a woman killing a man." Recalling it, Wan Seulgi felt her blood turned cold and to make it worse when she honestly taled the story from behind, the window thud close on its own that make her alarmed.

Jung Hwa moved his steps from Seulgi, taking a seat again on the chair he sat before, "Continue."

And Wan Seulgi turned her face slightly but it was better not to see Jung Hwa's face. As handsome he looked, Seulgi could see how his face slowly dripping into eerieness and she didn't want to look at his face too much, afraid of being pressured.

She continued, "Not soon after she killed the man, another woman came, jumping from the wall of a dead end. The two talked, I don't remember much about what they were talking and could only catch a few words; ten sacrifices." Human sacrifices added Jung Hwa in his mind where Seulgi continued,

"Then one of the woman who had killed the man, cursed, her face and skin peeled off on its own, to show a very ugly face." Witches had a series of story how their wear beautiful skins of people to hide their true face which had never been pretty to look at and Jung Jwa recalled the face of the witchess he fought before that he could say with clear words of how ugly they were. The greediness and evilness was one factor that had them looking million times uglier, no offense, added Jung Hwa in his thought.

"I don't remember after that as I was kidnapped." Wan Seulgi stated, her eyes peeked to the door, wanting to run and close the distance but then she tried before to fail. Her only hope was Seoyeon, she wish her friend could be here soon and wondered how could one towel make her friend come back late?

"What did you drink?" asked Jung Hwa straightaway, his ears picking the sound outside the room that was silence as it was what he did.

Seulgi brought her hands on her forearm, "I don't remember." she replied, "It was a liquid of some sort, it barely taste like anything and have a very sour taste." She didn't know if this could help but she told herself it was wiser to tell what she could remember.

"Have you told Seoyeon?" Jung Hwa asked to see the human woman shook her head. Pushing himself by his elbow, then Jung Hwa stood up from his seat, "What effect did you feel after drinking the potion?" For now, except a few things that dropped from Wan Seulgi, the woman still look lively enough to lie.

Wan Seulgi took a moment before she replied apprehensively, "Thirst and hunger,"

On the word Jung Hwa who has walked and stood close near the room dorm, turned his head, a grin finding its place on his lips, "So specific." What else could make one feel thirsty and hungry. "And what did you do to suffice your thirst and hunger?"

"Everything but it didn't work." replied Seulgi, her hands hold tightened.

"Of course it wouldn't, because your thirst and hunger isn't something that come from a human's nature." Jung Hwa replied, his eyes slowly turning from black to red, "That barely curb anything you are feeling from."

"Human's nature?" asked Wan Seulgi and she felt her body shivered in coldness.

"You are not a human anymore Miss Wan, you've change the moment you drank the potion from the witch. You are now a half vampire." stated Jung Hwa, his hand went to hold the door handle to pull it back and Seoyeon who was about to enter, find herself jump to Jung Hwa's embrace.

Surprised, Seoyeon's black eyes snapped up to see Jung Hwa's eye had turned red and somewhere she felt alarmed on what she had seen.
