Chapter 119 - Stars Or Wolves-I

Seoyeon could tell he was pushing and pulling her emotions now, giving her questions, hanging on it and drawled on his reply. She decided not to play with him any longer. Being the first to shift her eyes away from him, she looked at the window on her left, "No need, I'll wait." Then in a whisper she added, "I'm trusting you with my life."

"What a demanding secretary I have." From the window, he saw Seoyeon's brows raised up and a breezy laugh left is mouth, "Don't worry if I want to kill you, I would have done it earlier not now."

Seoyeon looked at him who was now not looking at the window anymore, "I know or else, I would not trust my life with you."

"Well that is my honor." He replied before speeding the car. Seoyeon looked at him sending a quizzical gaze. Jung Hwa's mother was killed by a witch, as much as she hated her existence to change into a witch, it had been proven she was one. Wouldn't he be angry by now? Hate her, feeling betrayed or despise her? Knowing Jung Hwa, he could kill her too.

The car stopped once they arrived or maybe as Seoyeon wasn't sure of it. Her eyes moved to see where they have arrived at finding that it was a small path where there was no car or houses, or building that could be a landmark. "We've arrived." Jung Hwa notified as if she didn't know it yet.

As he took off his seatbelt, his eyes looked at her, questioning without words why she was still sitting. And noticing his gaze, Seoyeon pushed the seatbelt and took it off. When he opened the door and left her alone in the car, for a few moment she breathed in and out. She believe Jung Hwa wouldn't do anything to danger her but where was she? Looking at her phone, she noticed there was no signal at all.

Seoyeon didn't know what was going on in his mind and saw the door opened. Meeting his smile, she first look at his face that were radiating with mirth before her eyes fell to his hand he had stretched out for her- for her to take.

Despite her mind holding with many questions, she didn't express her question on her lips. She took his hand he offered and they began to walk from the place. "Are we not there yet?" She asked, noticing that they walked further deeper to the path where trees surrounding her which was a part of a forest.

"Not yet, we are going to the best place I've found a decade ago." He replied, turning his eyes to watch her eyes roaming around the place before her chin moved up to the sky and her feet stumbled. As she try to balance herself, she noticed that it was thanks to his hand that she didn't fall down.

"You shouldn't have keep your eyes up when you are walking. The place is dangerous if you don't keep your eyes down and right or left." On his words, Seoyeon's eyes moved at him in a question. She could understand why she should keep her eyes down not to stumble again but why left and right?

"Why do you say that?" She asked. The trees were blown with wind which made the leaves rustles and her eyes immediately went to the place where she heard a sound came from. It was the sound of tree leaves and being someone with a good ears, she could differentiate the sound of wind blowing to the leaves and if the sound came from a creature moving through the leaves yet after her question, she felt there was indeed something moving between the trees.

Jung Hwa watched her eyes moving away to the trees and his smile reappeared, "There have been words of how there were a wild wolves spotted here, a pack staying in the forest to eat humans who lost themselves around this place."

"What?" she gasped her eyes switched from staring at the spot she did earlier to his eyes. A glint of complain stayed at her eyes and hesitantly she brought her lips to move, "You brought me here to be eaten?" Could she request him for a less painless death?

Jung Hwa noticed how her fingers tightened while holding his, her eyes warily turned right and left subtly before it moves again at him and she took one quick step forward to stay nearer at him and he laughed, "How did you come to that conclusion?" Seoyeon stared at him with a not impressive expression. He brought her here where there was only tree and the sky watching them down then told her the stories about the wild wolves. Was that not enough reason for her to ask?

"Don't worry, I wouldn't let the wolves eat you when I haven't even taste your blood."

In nerves, she stared at him, "If you have tasted my blood, then would you let me be eaten by the wolves?" She was proved to a witch and knowing the Associates, she didn't doubt many would try to kill her. Earlier in the afternoon when she was in the court, if her body had shown a reaction to the powder quickly, would she be killed? She felt fortunate that it wasn't other vampires but Jung Hwa who had seen the red rashes else she was sure they would kill her.

"I don't think I would ever do that. I have never taste your blood yet here I am craving for your blood. It a question isn't it? On how am I craving for something I've never taste before." His fingers then stopped at her cheeks, the cold fingertips turned warm by the time it touched her cheeks and stopped at her neck. "By the time I taste your blood, I know for sure I would only carve for more."

Seoyeon saw his eyes staring at her were crinkling and when his finger touched her neck, her cheeks grew redder remembering how his sharp fangs brushing her fingers. The feeling made a pin of silver shivers falling to her spine.

"Do you think I would share my belonging to an unknown wild wolves?" He asked her, searching for her confirmation that came only in her mind but not her words. "Hm?" He pressed her words.

"You don't seem to be like that. You seem to be someone who would bring whatever you like forever." At least that was what she saw him looking like. She still remembered how he had broken another vampire's finger just because the man had mock her.

"Glad to see that you agree." He chimed and his hand pulled her, "Let's go."

Seoyeon looked at him, remembering the words he said earlier on how he should be able to trust her too.. She felt nervous, what was going to happen and where was she going? But more than that, her heart questioned if Jung Hwa was angry? He was someone who would still smile in a glee when killing the witchess and she doubt she could take his smile as a sign to read his anger.
