Chapter 12 - He’s A Psycho!!

The morning raises up from the Sun that raises up from the horizon, lighting that land to a golden light. As hummingbirds singing a song in front of Han Seoyeon's studio apartment, she had woke up early with her fired-up eyes.

It had been two months after she was fired and she, who was desperate at the time, sent her CV to any companies that opened a recruitment news. And her fourth interview was one out of her twenty eight times of sending her CV. She didn't get much info of her own work or what company was Altar Cooperation was. But she did know the basics. Altar Cooperation, a Company which specialized in Hotels Management. These hotels are regarded as the best hotels in Korean with many wealthy people lining up to no end.

But her position wasn't as a hotel management, but, as the Altar Cooperation's CEO's Secretary. She did remember hearing some news of the CEO but wasn't that sure of it.

Standing in front of the Altar Cooperation HQ building, Han Seoyeon stared at the company that she would be working, hoping that it would be her last company and she wouldn't be either fired or throw a water in front at someone again.

No, she wouldn't ever throw water again, Han Seoyeon thought.

There had been nothing well for her when she throw water to people!

"I hope there will be no more sexual harassing loving manager, no crazy coworkers that love to speak bad of others, evil senior who love to push other, or a crazy boss! I wouldn't want to pray too much because I know very well you must be very very busy granting other's wishes who are perhaps in more need than I am, but! Out of all I would really love it if you don't send me the first type and the last type, God!" Han Seoyeon prayed under her breaths while clasping her hand to a prayer stance across her chest.

She had too much strange people involved in her life, be it in Highschool, work, or private life. She just hope to live peacefully in a serene life!

After entering the company, Han Seoyeon had her eyes traveling around a little to the entrance of the company. "As expected of Korean number one luxurious hotel company, everything here is more than the word 'luxurious'" Han Seoyeon noted in her mind.

The female receptionists who saw her, quickly greeted with a smile. "What May i help you with, Miss?"

"Ah, I'm the new recruit for the CEO's secretary." Han Seoyeon replied to see the female receptionist's eyes froze over her for quite a moment.

She cleared her throat, replying to Han Seoyeon while pulling the office phone. "Yes, please wait for a moment."

Han Seoyeon nodded and waited to hear the woman speaking to a person called Mr. Ma. After ending the call, the receptionist smiled pleasantly at her, saying, "You can wait for a moment, Mr. Kang is on his way here."

"Alright, thank you for your help." Han Seoyeon replied and it really did not take time for Mr. Kang to come. To be honest, Han Seoyeon expected someone at his forties due to her previous company which was filled with older people. But Mr. Kang was a Young man perhaps only a few years younger than her. He smiled gently but even his smile couldn't hide the heavy dark circle under his eyes.

"Are you the new secretary, Ms. Han?" He asked.

"Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you, please take care of me." Han Seoyeon bowed.

"Likewise." Kang Taehee replied. "Then, I will show you the way first to your office, please come with me." He spoke and leaded Han Seoyeon to the elevator inside the elevator, the man pushed the thirty two floor's button and turned to look at Han Seoyeon before smiling. "If I may ask, Ms. Han,"

"Yes, you please ask me anything."

"How many days you can stay without sleeping?" He quickly interrogated with a curious eyes or perhaps with an expression of desperation.

"Uhm, perhaps four to five days?" Han Seoyeon replied unsurely.

"Four to five days?"

"I worked in a construction company before and a magazine editorial company so I had to take a long day without sleeping some times, I didn't even take a nap. So without taking a nap, I could sleep for four or five days."

Kang Taehee had his face brightened as though he had just met his one and only savior that come from heaven. Desperately, he took both of her hand and spoke almost to the point of crying out. "Really?! You're not lying aren't you?! Oh my finally! Finally! Finally there's someone who could stay even longer than the boss!!"

Han Seoyeon was taken aback, looking at her own hand that had been captured. She noticed a bubble of tears lining from the corner of his eyes. She looked down at her hand. "Uh."

"Ah! I'm sorry." Kang Taehee quickly released his hand apologetically. "I was too happy that I took your hand, that was improper, I apologize." He apologized twice sincerely.

Seeing that he did it unintentionally Han Seoyeon accepted his apologies with an understanding smile.

"I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Kang Taehee, one of the member of the team pose personally for the CEO." He paused and looked at the elevator number that had just passed the twentieth floor and added, "I was appointed for the CEO's Secretary after the previous secretary's, although I'm also not long in this position, you can ask me if you have any problem. Or if you have any question."

Hearing this, Han Seoyeon recalled the old saying "knowing your enemy before the war" thus she took Kang Taehee's offer and raised a question. "Then may I ask about the CEO?"

"The CEO?" Kang Taehee asked and gave a long pause. "You don't know him? He's pretty famous in TVs."

"I don't really watch TV, you see." Han Seoyeon replied, electricity bill is life! Wasting it to TV is much too wasteful for the frugal her who often stare at five hypermarket's flier at once only to calculate which products are cheeper in which markets.

"Ah, well the CEO is-" Kang Taehee trailed his words. "He's still in his late twenties, a handsome and charming person whose face you could never forget. He's the grandson of Head Director Of LC&J Group but chose to make his own Cooperation without the help of his grandfather and succeeded in less than three years after its opening. By succeeded, I mean the company flourished like money tree without any issues."

"The CEO seems to be a very hardworking person." Han Seoyeon praised thoughtfully. The CEO of the company is certainly an amazing person he made his own company from nothing and made sure it to Korean most sought cooperation to work at.

"Yes." Kang Taehee replied before pulling only one single corner of his lips and turned to a gloom look. "He's a very hardworking person that he never sleep like a robot for many days, working and working and working as though his life depend on working and he would die without working. To note, he only eat and drink anything in the color of red!" He changed his eyes toward Han Seoyeon and forced a smile that made Han Seoyeon to pity him.. "Outside people would praise him and certainly he's an amazing person! But if you ask someone else in this company, they would only reply this way- He's a psycho!'" The man vented out his unending complaints.
