Time passed while Kira watched Naruto training Kage Bunshin

After about an hour, Kira felt Iruka approaching.

Kira had a problem. On one hand he had to protect Naruto since he was hired for it. But on the other hand, if it were Kira who defeated Mizuki, the plot would completely change.

Iruka then felt something flying towards Naruto. He unhesitatingly shoved Naruto, saving him from being hit by Shurikens and Kunais.

Naruto was not hit, but the same could not be said about Iruka. Iruka's right leg had been pierced by a Kunai. The rest of the Kunais and Shurinkens that Mizuki had cast were all around Iruka's body.

"I understood ... so this is it!" Iruka spoke as he stared at Mizuki.

"Naruto, give me the parchment!" Mizuki spoke as he faced Naruto.

Despite all that had happened, Kira had not moved yet. After thinking about it he came to a conclusion.

He did not have to do anything!

From what Kira remembered only Iruka and Mizuki would be injured today, but Kira's mission was to protect Naruto, not Iruka.

So if Kira let them all follow naturally, he would have somehow fulfilled his mission, and at the same time he would not change the plot.

Although Kira was annoyed by the fact that Iruka was hurting himself, he knew that Iruka would not die, so he would not intervene.

Kira did not know if they were allies or enemies, so he decided he should stay close to Naruto, so he could protect Naruto from an attack.

"That narcissistic way ... Kira?" Iruka asked.

"What do you mean by narcissistic? I'm just being honest. It's not my fault being so perfect that it hurts to be a problem." Kira spoke with a smile on his face, but he was still with his guard high and was prepared to fight at any moment.

"So it really is Kira ... but why are you wearing a mask underneath another?" Iruka asked.
