Hello everyone, here's another story.

I started writing this story because of a moment of inspiration I had. I was reading a Xianxia novel with a male character who was considered to be a genius for saying things that should be obvious to most people and it reminded me of so many other novels that have a very similar plot. In summary, I am disgusted with these novels, so I decided to create this "original story" as a criticism against Xianxia novels like that. I'm going to give you the complete synopsis here because it exceeded the character limit allowed on this platform.

Cheng Shuyi was a modern woman in the 21st century with an ordinary appearance and a serious attitude, who spent many years of her life working for the Chinese government. At the age of 40, she finally decided to take some time off and go on a well-deserved vacation. But, before she even had the chance to feel the calm ocean breeze on her skin, her plane exploded!

The next time she opened her eyes, she had already become the young miss of a general's house in an alternate world, a Xuanhuan world. However, the current plot reminded her of something from her past life. It was a Chinese web novel that one of her younger co-workers had often urged her to read, "Supreme Hero."

Cheng Shuyi had actually become the female lead, who, after fighting with the other women and receiving the best wishes of her family, finally succeeded in marrying the hero of the story. Unfortunately, it was not a happy-ever-after ending.

The hero was seen as being "fair' and "faithful", even though he had many ambiguous relationships with a number of older sisters, younger sisters, teachers, and even enemies. As a hero, he was always busy traveling to improve his cultivation. If it was quick, he would only be gone for a year. But, if it wasn't, he would be gone for 5 years or more sometimes. As for his beautiful wife, she remained in the mansion at the capital because she was considered "too delicate" to travel alongside her young husband. Most of the time, she only received news of him through strangers or rumors in high society.

One day, during a snowstorm that was so intense it even caused damage to some of the stone structures, a handsome, cold, and wounded man collapsed in this young wife's yard. She had a kind heart and lacked knowledge related to human contact because she had always been mocked and avoided by other married women. Yet, she had always accepted it in silence, never telling her husband. So, she decided to help this stranger until the week-long snow storm finally came to an end.

Due to this twist of fate, the stranger fell in love with the young wife. However, she remained faithful to her husband and bid the unknown stranger farewell, leaving him no choice but to accept the disappointment and mourn his fate. In the future, this stranger became the hero's biggest opposition. They had faced off against each other many times, and the villain was always stronger, but he always let the hero live because of his feelings towards the young wife who was awaiting his return to that desolate mansion.

For the villain, it was a once in a lifetime love. Even though he was handsome, cold, strong, and held a high status, he was not interested in other women. Over time, these women, who desperately wanted to gain his favor, found out about the young woman who had stolen the heart of this cold man.

These young women were unable to obtain the villain's love, so they began persecuting the young wife, who was already facing many problems because of the hero. Her husband had made many enemies during his travels, and these enemies had turned their eyes towards his wife. If not for her family helping her out behind the scenes, this lamentable female lead would not have been strong enough to face these crazy women. Not only that, she would have died at the hands of her husband's enemies.

Where was the hero during all this? He was spending his time happily with his childhood friend, junior sisters, or even ambiguously with female instructors from other areas.

Since her husband only returned every few years, Sheng Shuyi was left to deal with the aftermath of the problems he had caused on her own.

Skipping ahead to the end of the novel, Shen Shuyi had sacrificed herself to save the hero from an envious god. She began a journey to find her beloved husband, who had disappeared and was presumed dead! She suffered on her own as she traveled, becoming stronger and even more gorgeous. But, all of that for what? To die in the end!

And what was the hero doing at the moment his wife sacrificed herself? He was busy with his subordinates and had his arm wrapped around his childhood friend's waist!

However, as her body was falling to the ground, the villain appeared and caught her, holding her in his arms as he cried like a lost child, watching as the soul of his beloved dissipated. At this moment, the hero only frowned and glared at his wife, forgetting how she had just sacrificed herself to save his life! His only thought was that she must have cheated on him!

In the end, the villain joined hands with the hero to kill the envious god. Afterwards, the hero ignored his wife's remains and tried to loot her body to reclaim his possessions! However, the villain unashamedly kicked the hero aside and took her body away with him.

The hero, who was now a widower, didn't waste any time in mourning. He married his childhood friend and accepted three high-class concubines! In addition, he went after the Sheng family, even going as far as to use his sacred beast to kill the Sheng family's sacred phoenix. All of this, to avenge his "honor"!

The villain placed his beloved's body in a thousand-year-old ice coffin to preserve it and placed a sacred jewel on it that had the power to call a dissipated soul back to its body!

However, the hero of the novel needed this gem to reach the peak of his cultivation, so the villain and the hero began their final battle. Unfortunately, one of the hero's attacks landed on the coffin, catapulting the body of Sheng Shuyi out. The villain became distracted and moved to catch the body, but the hero used this opportunity to fiercely attack the villain, killing him in the process.

Yet, even in death he still had a smile on his face as he hugged the body of his beloved and slowly slipped into death. The poor villain, his soul also dissipated!

Cheng Shuyi had stopped reading the novel at that moment. She had felt so very wronged by what had happened to the Shuyi in that novel!

Now, with her taking the place of the Sheng Shuyi who was still single and had yet to meet the hero, she just wanted to flip the tea table and scream to the whole world that the hero was a shameful scumbag!

To continue living in this Xianxia world, where the strong rule and the weak are crushed like bugs, she made three resolutions.

1. Become strong.

2. Avoid the hero.

3. Fall in love with the villain!
