Chapter 25 - Hapless Spring

One day, Bai Qingqing and I went to Doushuai Palace to find Daode Tianzun. He was sitting at the door muttering instead of riding on his ox to delouse it.

I sat curiously beside him and asked: “Daode Tianzun, why are you so upset?”

“Wouldn’t you know it? It is Spring who upsets me!” Daode Tianzun said sulkily, “I haven’t seen him all day. The fire in my stove is going out!”

In order to win Fariy Qianbi’s heart, Spring went to Qinghua Palace every day to wait for her and often picked a bunch of flowers in Baihua Palace. He stood outside the palace infatuatedly. Fairy Qianbi dared not leave her room because of him.

“Daode TianZun, you have many fairy kids, don’t you? You can let them feed your fire,” Bai Qingqing offered him advice.

“That’s Spring’s duty. If someone else feeds the fire, why should I let him stay? There is no value at all!” Daode Tianzun grunted.

I laughed to myself because Spring could only feed the fire in the eyes of Daode Tianzun! If he wanted to win the heart of Fariy Qianbi, that was far from enough!

When Bai Qingqing and I returned to Qinghua Palace, we saw Spring standing like a doorman at the gate and holding the flowers stolen from Baihua Palace.

I chuckled. An idea suddenly flashed across my mind. I turned my head, looked at Bai Qingqing and found that we were thinking the exact same thing, so we smiled at each other. In an instant, I became Fariy Qianbi and Bai Qingqing became Daode Tianzun.

“Spring, when will you come back? Every day you neglect your duty and pursue your girlfriend. Believe it or not, I will send you away from Doushuai Palace!” Bai Qingqing shouted behind him.

Spring immediately turned around and was about to speak. But when he found me besides Bai Qingqing, he suddenly gazed at me and completely ignored Bai Qingqing.

I gave a little start and looked at Bai Qingqing subconsciously. She immediately answered: “Li is in Doushuai Palace!”

“Your Majesty, welcome to Qinghua Garden! What brings you here today?” Fairy Pine greeted “Daode Tianzun” and asked.

Bai Qingqing coughed and glared at him, saying: “I’m here all because of Spring! He wants to pursue Fariy Qianbi!”

Fairy Pine was stunned and immediately asked: “Pursuing Fariy Qianbi?”

I was afraid that he would reveal the truth, so I immediately stepped in front of Fairy Pine and said: “Daode Tianzun is telling jokes, right?”

Spring thought that I didn’t want Fairy Pine to get it wrong. So he nodded sulkily.

“Spring, go back and feed the fire now!” Bai Qingqing tried to let him go back.

Spring looked at me, Bai Qingqing and then Fairy Pine, who was totally confused. Suddenly, he turned around and punched Fairy Pine in the face. Fairy Pine had stayed in heaven for a long time, and immortals all used magic to do everything, so he hadn’t seen such a primitive deed. He was thrown to the ground easily.

After sending Spring away, I quickly helped Fairy Pine up, and he was still in a daze. He was beaten for no reason, which made him confused and upset.

I guessed that he was about to know the truth, so I decided to run away first. The shouting of Fairy Pine came from behind me. He figured it out and chased me furiously!
