124 The Day Before The Ceremony

The sounds of the streets filling with people echoed through my room. I couldn't smell much since my nose was blocked. My body was aching since I had been sitting in bed since the sun had rose.

It was the day before the adult ceremony. I had caught a cold due to staying outside and farming too long. A sentence that the old me would never have believed if you told them. Loki had been by earlier and recommended that I spend some time filling in my Lubu Lubu System while my cold had me trapped in bed.

I figured I had nothing better to do and it may help me with some of the interpersonal issues I was currently having with the people around me. It was strange. The days coming up to the adult ceremony had all of my friends tense.

I guess thinking about it even I was a little tense. In just one day I would be allowed to go back to Tama with everyone. I wondered how much everything had changed since I had left. I really missed grandfather and couldn't wait to tell him about all of the adventures I had since I had been in Tulk.

Looking down at my wrist I thought about updating Nathans profile first. The ringing in my head of updates didn't stop one after another notifications rung out through my ears causing my head to feel slightly dizzy.

I didn't even read what was written before I opened Sora's profile and began to buy everything in site. It wasn't long until the profile was completely filled out. Although mentally it was tiring I couldn't help but feel slightly accomplished as I went through and unlocked everything.

I sighed as I unlocked Ren's profile. Since I had always considered him a subordinate I guess I felt pretty rude looking into how he thought of me. Words became caught in my throat the more I unlocked. I struggled to look away as break down of the Lubu system hearts wrung in my ears.

A Wither Wraith was a max rank 7 spirit beast of darkness that could only be found in places where death was prevalent. From what I could remember from the Magus Academy it was said that they are attracted to those who are about to die like a grim reaper they take souls and lead them to the afterlife or so it was written in the text books.

I stared wide eyed at the profiles ahead of me and calmed my breath. It seemed that the first thing I had to do when I got back to Tama was to find everyone. I had seen that father and Ren's profiles had never dimmed so it gave me a sense of security but all Ren would know is that I was sent to the Dredge Lands four years ago… I couldn't imagine how much he and everyone else were all suffering right now.

I looked over my own status and nodded. No matter what happened after the adult ceremony tomorrow Kibbles, Loki and I would be going back to Tama to find Ren. I knew that at least Loki and Kibbles would follow me. Should no one else then that was up to them. I couldn't leave Ren out in the cold and I felt exactly the same way about him as he did me.

I couldn't imagine the horrors that Ren had seen since I left his side. I wondered how he ended up where he was.

Using every ounce of strength I stood up. I didn't care that I had a flu. I knew that I had work to do. I walked to my writing desk and took a leaf from the draw before using growth to make it expand in size.

With a quill that I had created I took some ink from the bottle and began to write a letter to the head of the Tulk.

Today was going to be an extremely long day.
