I looked in the mirror for the last time completely unhappy with this terrible choice of uniform as I walk out of my bedroom.

" Good morning" I said as I yawned.

Various hellos came and went through the room I looked across from me to see Setsu was wearing a deep red uniform that was in the same style as mine. I couldn't help but admire him for a moment before I glanced over at Loki who was eating breakfast.

The voice of the system rang in my ears for a moment. It looked like the time to use the Lubu Systems love and war had finally come. I sat at the table and at the spread of fresh bread milk and some ham that Ki had prepared and decided to think up a battle strategy.

[ The first few days in the game where the getting to know you section, If this place is anything like Romance Fantasy ++ then I should bump into low of women accidentally. If that is the case then I should collect as much data as I can just in case but for the most part I should just keep my head down and study and figure out a way to find my father. ]

" You are thinking awfully hard this morning Yuki" Kibbles said as he rubbed my leg with his face.

[ I wouldn't have to think so hard if Loki would give me a hint! ]

I stared at Loki again as I took a bite of my ham and bread.

Loki looked at me and cocked his head to the side in thought before he shook his head and went back to eating.

[ He..he can't read my mind can he? ]

" I don't know if meowster Loki can do that but it wouldn't surprise me if he could" Kibbles said as he began to sit at my feet.

[ Loki's feet smell like hamsters, Loki is a smelly lazybones, Loki never washes his hair ]

I made up insult after insult in my head and glanced over in Loki's direction every now and then to test if he really could read my mind but there was no movement or change in his behavior.

[ Loki and Rinny making babies no no! Loki and Ren making babies! ]

The insults kept going as they became stranger and stranger. By the time I had finished my breakfast I had insulted Loki in every way I could think of. There was no reaction from Loki in the end so I at least knew he wasn't invading my privacy. Kibbles on the other hand kept looking at me and then and Loki before he shook his head and jumped on my shoulder.

" You ready to go young master? Remember you will be in mixed classes for your regular classes of magic theory, political studies, apothecary, magic beasts and the art of weapons and war but in the afternoon you will have to go to the Earth section to learn about wood magic! Try not to get in any fights and if you get lost just ask Loki since I have given him a map!" Ki said as she fussed like a mother sending her child to the first day of school.

" Sure thing, let me know if you ever need to leave campus or have any other duties outside of school, that is what I am here for!" Ren said smiling.

" I think I am ready now! Which class are you in Setsu?" I said looking over at Setsu who was standing with a bag full of pens and papers.

" I am going to Apothecary C first" Setsu said proudly.

" I am going to head to Magic Theory B, a pity! I would have liked to walk to to class. See you at the cafeteria during lunch!" I said smiling as we both walked to the exit.

" Wait up" Loki said as he finally rose from his seat and walked over. Ki and Ren both looked and Loki with an eyebrow raise before they waved Setsu, Loki and I off with a smile.

Setsu had to walk in the opposite direction of Loki and I so before I knew it there was just Kibbles, Loki and myself all walking to Magic Theory B together. The trip did not take to long and before we knew it we walked into a mid sized auditorium filled with seats and books. Students were arriving one by one as Loki took a seat next to me and handed me a hand sewn text book called " Magic Theory And Me".

" Thank you Loki" I said as I took some paper and Ink from my bag and set it on the desk.

" I thought you said my bagel hands were clumsy like a rhino. I wasn't sure if you would take the book or not" Loki said as he put his below on his desk and rested his face on his hand.

" I never said that " I said shocked.

[ Can you really read my mind? ]

" No but Kibbles can" Loki said as he smiled.

[ Kibbles you traitor!!!! ]

" He just asked me why you were staring at him all morning. It was either I tell Meowster that you are trying to see if he can read your mind or tell him you had a crush on him" Kibbles said as he licked his paw pads.

At that moment a meek looking teacher with thick glasses and hair covering what little someone could see of his eyes walked in. He looked to be in his mid thirties sporting a silver robe the mark of a lecturer. I had to keep my frustration in the back off my head as the teacher silenced all the talking students and began with his lecture.

" My name is Guy and I will be your Magic Theory teacher.." despite his appearance he spoke with an energy that could not be contended with.

[ It seems this teacher really likes his job! ]

Guy's lessons were running through my head as I took notes on the diagrams he was drawing on the board. If I wanted to be the best so no one could hurt my friends I had to study hard this year.

"When you cast a spell involving particles movement out of your body, the neutral environment will oppose a resistance, making it slightly more difficult. However, once a passage is forced through, any spell requiring similar structures will be significantly easier to cast, thanks to the residues of the previous ones" Mr Porter said with gusto.

I took down notes for the rest of the lesson and I felt like I had learned a lot. Kibbles had spent the whole time sleeping while Loki was playing with a quill. I guess if you had all the knowledge of this universe you wouldn't really need to study.

" Hey Loki.. think you could help me study in future?" I said standing up after the lesson was over.

" That sounds troublesome, what do i get out of it?" Loki said as he looked at me with a cheeky grin.

" What do you want?" I said looking at him with a puppy dog expression.

" Hmm. A favor. In future I will ask for a favor and you must follow through with it" Loki said after a moment.

" Why do I feel like I am in for some kind of trap?" I blurted out as I put away my notes and left with Loki and Kibbles.

" Well you did say that when I play the trumpet I don't blow with my lips. I have to pay you back somehow!" Loki said suddenly.

A bright red sheen ran over my face as we left for the next class which was "Introductions to Apothecary C" I couldn't help but what to cure Kibbles a thousands times after he told Loki what I had been thinking.

" Watch out!" a females voice called before I felt a person's body land on my back.

I turned around and caught the person who had fallen into my arms.

"Hina is that you?" I said to the girl who was looking up at me.

" YUKI!" Hina said as she wrapped her arms around me.

" It has been too long cousin!" I said as she finally fumbled off my chest.

Since the time I had seen her I had grown a whole head taller than her. Her green hair looked exactly like my mothers except it was cut short with a length of string that acted as a headband. Her blue eyes shone like stars as she stared up at me.

" Where is your brother Tamo? " I said looking around.

" He and I are in different classes" she said smiling brightly.

" Sorry for knocking into you there was a big crowd of women following the crown prince of Vance and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about!" Hina said as she looked at the ground.

" The crown prince is popular?" I said questioning her.

" Very, his long blond hair is very regal apparently!" Hina said as she blushed.

I dropped down to her level and whispered in her ear " I think he may have something to do with what happened to mother, please keep your distance. Keep this to yourself."

[ I hope that is enough of a warning ]

She stared at me shocked before she covered her mouth and nodded profusely.

" Will you and Tamo be in the cafeteria at lunch?" I said pretending nothing happened.

" We should be! Want to catch up? It has been a very long time." Hina said rather sad before smiling.

" Look at you, you are starting to look like uncle so much already!" She said nodding proudly.

" And you look prettier by the day!" I said in response.

" We are going to be late for class Yuki" Loki said holding Kibbles next to me.

" Oh thank you Loki!" I said grateful for the reminder.

At that moment Hina looked at Loki and her face went beetroot red.

" I forgot to introduce you think Loki, my uh.. classmate" I said and I titled my head in Loki's direction.

" I am Hina a pleasure to meet you!" Hina said before bowing and running off as if she were on fire.

" Cute kid, lets go Yuki!" Loki said as he took a step forward.
