-4 Author's Foreword

This is not the first public book I have written however the one previously was dropped because I felt it was pretty boring and slow. I like writing but I am dyslexic so writing has always been equal parts battle equal parts joy for me.

As for writing a BL genre book, this is actually my first.

I have been reading LN's for a few years now. In fact, like most of you, I also enjoy reading manga/manhwa and comics as well. However, every time I read about a gay character they were always portrayed in unhealthy relationships, pornstars, villains or as mentally ill psychopaths. It didn't sit right with me.

So after some mental debate, I decided that I needed to make a story that I wanted to read. I wanted the character's sexuality to just be a part of him not the whole of him. I wanted to write a story that could show that a gay MC can be just as witty and interesting as any other character even for the average book reader.

If you are after smut, or an MC just waiting for some powerful CEO to solve all his problems and forcibly kiss him without consent you have the wrong book. However, if you are looking for a good old-fashioned adventure book with equal parts hot babes and dudes, some good old magic and want a slightly smart-arsey MC you are welcome to start from CH 1.

There may be some grammar errors and inconsistencies but if you are willing to read it, I am willing to write it. Thank you for your time.
