The two started on the small rides and slowly worked their way up into the big rides. The only thing they didn't expect was that Gideon would get motion sickness from one of the rides. He had to sit down while Kaiden was about to explode at the conductor for not warning them.

"K-Kaiden, don't worry I'm fine" Gideon states as he holds in the lunch he ate earlier from going up.

"But you got sick!"

"no no, I kind of expected this that's why I'm not mad"

Actually, Gideon had motion sickness in his past life. It was Alice who dragged him into this kind of ride and they found out the hard way the moment Gideon almost collapsed. In this current life, Gideon hoped that he no longer had motion sickness. Who would have known that he would still have it?

"If you knew, then why did you get on?"

"Because we were both having fun and it seemed like you wanted to try it out" Gideon admits.

He saw Kaiden's sparkling eyes the moment he saw this one ride called the pirate ship. And it was confirmed the moment they got on that monstrosity that Kaiden was thoroughly enjoying it while he was suffering on the side. If it meant that Gideon would see this side of Kaiden more often then it should be fine for him to suffer a little.  Kaiden sighed and suddenly carried Gideon.

"K-Kaiden?!" Gideon panicked and would have already pushed himself off Kaiden if he wasn't so weak right now. The people who had been staring at them, because of the prince, were also surprised. They knew Kaiden Lux Ferre was strong but seeing it in person is still something.

'Lunch, you failed me'

"We're going to go home now" Kaiden says seriously as he walks past the people who immediately steered clear out of his way.

'No! Then their first official date would have been a disaster!'

"No-"

"You're sick"

"No." Gideon covered Kaiden's eyes because it was the only thing he can do that was pretty harmless.

But what he didn't expect was that Kaiden would continue to walk. This got him a smack in the head from none other than his dearest Deon. The people around them gasped and held their breath. Who would dare smack the prince on the head?!

"Ow.. what was that for?" Kaiden pouted at Gideon whilst the other was just looking at him angrily.

"I swear if you don't put me down, I'll stop talking to you"

With that threat, Kaiden carried Gideon to a resting area and created a privacy barrier that made them look like someone else and no one could hear what they were talking about.

"Don't treat me like this Gideon" Kaiden whined and Gideon rolled his eyes.

"If I didn't then you would have dragged my shame along with you. I'm fine now... Maybe I just want water"

"Alright, just wait here" Kaiden once again put on his cap like it'll help him hide his already known presence before taking down the barrier. But before he left, he gave Gideon a glass stone.

"Break this if something happens. I'll know immediately" Kaiden kissed Gideon's hand and walked away to get refreshments for Gideon.

Gideon watched him walk away and he sighed. Now that Kaiden was gone, reality dawned upon him once again. That there were a lot of people who had been watching them intently earlier. How there was a mix of good and bad impressions. And that the bad ones were mostly towards him.

"Excuse me?" Someone approached Gideon and he should have expected this.

"Yes?" Gideon wasn't required to speak to anyone but it's just him not wanting to be rude in general.

"The other seats are taken and the bench you have is quite big, can we sit here?" The man gestured to the woman next to him and it looked like they were a couple.

"Sure" The bench wasn't their property anyways and it's not that hard to scoot to the side.

"Thank you" The man gestured for the woman to sit down and Gideon could overhear some of their conversations.

"I'll be quick, you just have to keep an eye on him ok Ari?"

"Ok master"

Gideon felt like he was hearing something he shouldn't have and his eyes widened.

'IF YOU GUYS ARE INTO S AND M1 AT LEAST KEEP IT IN THE BEDROOM'

He was looking away awkwardly wondering when Kaiden was going to come back and the guy walked away. The woman glanced at him and smiled.

"Hello"

"Oh? um hello" Gideon replied and ended it there. It's not a requirement to talk to someone you're sitting next to in a public area right?

"I'm Ari, what's yours?"

"Erhm..."

Ari seemed to notice his awkwardness and laughed at herself.

"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. You don't have to tell me your name. It's just that... you look familiar to me" She says and Gideon responded with an "Oh".

"Yes, that's why I wondering if I know you from somewhere"

This woman can't take a hint that Gideon was not interested in talking to other people.

"This is the first time I've spoken with you" Gideon flatly replied to stop whatever this Ari lady thought of him.

Ari giggled and said "And yet you're very familiar to me" with a smile.

Although it all seemed innocent, there was something off-putting with her overall person that Gideon couldn't put a finger on it.

"I'm back"

"Have you finished what you needed to do?"

"Not really, someone bothered me. Let's just go Ari"

Gideon wondered why this guy looked familiar to him. He had loose curly blond hair and sky blue eyes kind of like an Angel. He had a face mask which made Gideon think that he might be a germaphobe or he's sickly. Maybe the latter is more believable because of how pale his skin was.

"Alright, Matthew"

Surely not?

Surely this man isn't?

"Hmm?" The man called Matthew glanced at Gideon who suddenly stopped breathing for a second and he tried to calm himself down.

Ari noticed that Matthew was looking at Gideon and she patted his arm.

"Oh sorry, I just thought he seemed familiar"

"Funny, I also thought the same thing" Ari states and says what Gideon told her.

"But this seems to be the first time I spoke with him"

Matthew glanced at her and it seems like he was surprised that Ari spoke with Gideon. He was about to ask something when he sensed someone was coming.

"We just got mistaken. Let's go, Ari"

"Kay!" Ari and Matthew disappeared into the crowd. It was only then that Gideon managed to breathe properly.

Was that Matthew?

Who was that Ari person?

Why was he familiar to the two of them?

There were so many questions in Gideon's mind that he didn't even notice that Kaiden had returned just now and was now waving his hands in front of him.

"Earth to Gideon, are you there?" Kaiden asks and Gideon blinks.

"Huh? oh I'm sorry" Gideon massaged his forehead a little bit.

"Are you sure you're ok? You look terrible right now" Kaiden was very much concerned for Gideon's well-being because he looked very pale just now. As if something spooked him.

"I'm..." Gideon wanted to ask questions but they're in public. He's scared that there would be a possibility of Matthew watching him still.

"Let's go somewhere else. I think we've played around for a while now"

"Yeah, we should leave. Do you want me to carry you?"

"No!" Gideon flatly refused his offer immediately.

Whoever is up there listening, why is all of this happening to him?

"Fine, do you at least want to hold your hand?"

Kaiden placed out a hand for Gideon to take. Gideon looked at it and took it without answering. Kaiden's hand was very comforting for him that easily made him forget about his worries from earlier.

The two left the amusement park and Kaiden drove them to somewhere that was near the outskirts of the city. Gideon asked him where they were going and Kaiden replied that it was a secret place. When they stopped, they were by a cliff that overlooked the entire capital. Because it was already close to nighttime, the view looked breathtaking.

"I wasn't planning on taking you here this soon but you looked like you needed some fresh air"

"How did you find this place?" Gideon asks Kaiden and the prince shakes his head.

"It wasn't me who found this place. It was my mother"

Well, that was unexpected. Especially when Kaiden yelled at Valerie one time that he doesn't want to have anything to do with his mother anymore when they were kids.

"She had letters for me and my father. In her letters, she said that this place would clear her head from worries while she was carrying me and how this was her secret hideaway" Kaiden spoke fondly of her and Gideon listened to him.

"Father also knows of this place but he wouldn't dare go here because he knew that he was the reason why mother hid all the way here. But he was still stupid enough to make this place the Capital just to fulfill her wishes of living here with me and him once things were ok"

"I see..." It's interesting to hear all of this from Kaiden's perspective. In the end, Kaiden seems to long for Gabriella.

"So, I use this place to my heart's content. Especially when I was looking for you back then. I'd go up here and think where you would have gone"

Gideon awkwardly laughed. Those days were pretty rough...

"So if you have any problems, just come up here and let it all out. I'm sure that's what mother would have wanted for the both of us"

Gideon knew that this place was only for Kaiden and Luciel but he got included. He couldn't help but feel flustered and the cold wind that was hitting his face wasn't helping at all.
