19 He'sd Show Them Whose Stupid

Name:I Remember Love Author:pandamathers
As Charlie was entering the gangs headquarters Luke had already made his way through town to the closest bar.

Unbeknownst to Luke, Cage was following quietly behind him on his bike. His long auburn locks swept into a ponytail at his name, his slender frame was rather inconspicuous amidst the rag tag muscle men in the club. In spite of his statuesque height he found it rather easy to blend in. Even if he didnt, the insignia on his jacket alone would be enough to keep the others at bay.

Meanwhile Luke managed to sneak his way in the bar with the help of a fake ID he had managed to procure. Going against his better judgement ordered himself a drink. He needed to fit in to make it easier to gain intel on the three thugs that had invaded his home so many years ago.

His eyes swept the room while vivid memories of the night his father died danced before his eyes. If they were hear he would see them. If not, he would continue to look. He had time. It had already been over a year since that night. He was nothing if not patient.

Amidst the chatter and chaos of the room snippets of conversation began to make their way to his ears.  They were talking about Hunters gang, the Foot Soldiers, and from the sound of it they were mocking him. His fingers curled around the glass as he fought to remain calm.

"Hey, did you hear. Some kid tried to get into Hunter's Crew. Is he stupid?"

"Yeah seems some people think they will take anyone"

"I heard he took a pretty good beating. Serves him right"

Luke had been biting his tongue the whole time. He had tried counting back, breathing techniques and everything he could think of to calm down. The problem was he was still irritated from his confrontation with Hunter.

Taking a long drink from his glass he downed it. Mistake number two for the evening. Then, pushing his chair from the table, he made his way to the mouthy drunkards two tables down. "I'll show them who the stupid one is" he thought.

Tapping one of them on the shoulder, Luke cracked his neck as he glared down at them. He rolled his shoulders one after another trying to relieve some tension as he smirked and chimed in:

"So, some kid thought they were tough enough to join the Foot Soldiers huh?"

The men looked up at him, all three of them simultaneously, and laughed. Who was this kid, he couldn't be more than 5 foot tall and looked like the wind would knock him over. The older of the three looked over at him "What's it to you? Writing a book?" he sneered.

Luke just shrugged and grinned. "Nothing. I just imagine that kid couldn't be that tough is all" He laughed. He cocked his head to the side as though thinking of something. "I also heard though, that the first guy who fought ended up dead. And the only reason he was beat is because he challenged the boss?" He tapped his chin lightly pretending to be though.

They took the bait.

"What do you know?" Thug A remarked, spitting at Lukes shoes. This was their first mistake.

"Yeah it's not like a puny little runt like you would have made it anyway" chimed in Thug B.

This was their second.

Luke was debating whether or not he would let them get to three when the last one at the table spoke up, his glass hitting the table abruptly as he stood.

"Look kid. You obviously are just blowing sh*t out of your ass. Why don't you leave now before you get hurt."

If had just been the other two and he wasn't already so agitated Luke may have let them off. Unfortunately for them, he had some energy to burn. He had been pushed to his limit already with Hunter and domineering assh*le way and he was tired of being looked down on.

Lifting the other man's glass he downed the whiskey in it with a smirk. Thug A was about to swing at him when all of a sudden Luke dodged, glass in hand, and sent Thug B flying across after having smashed the glass into his face. In the meantime, Thug A and Thug C, who seemed to be the leader of the pack, stepped forward.

Thug 'C' pulled his arm back to swing another punch while Thug A stepped behind. At least this point Luke was furious. His movements while normally cool and calculative, where now closer to being instinctual. His senses were somewhat dulled by the alcohol but not quite enough to take the edge off his temperament. There was no pausing this time. No strategizing. These two men were going to go down in a bloody messy battle and Luke was going to see to it.

As the two men attempted to tag team him he side stepped their punches landing solidly in one anothers jaw. Luke's elbow came up briefly before it crashed down on Thug A with with enough force shatter the vertebrae in the upper portion of his neck. Thug A slumped to the ground with Luke standing over him, his foot coming down on his skull to finish the job.

By this point, Thug C was speechless. He looked at his two lifeless comrades and debated. Should he run or should he fight. This was the question. In reality the safe option would have been for him to flee. His pride as man though was at steak. If he couldn't take out one measly little punk he would be the laughing stock of the town.

Thug C took a deep breath and sealed his fate.

The man stepped forward one more time. His right arm came out in a punch. It was unfortunate for him though that Luke was small and because he was small, he was also quick. Luke didn't need to strategize too much to see man's intentions. His killing intent was in his eyes. Luke sidestepped again, this time to the left, and coming up behind the man jammed his elbow into his back. Not just once but in three seperate places successively. Once in the kidneys, once in his spleen and once in his middle back near his liver.

Thug C was now sputtering blood, doubled over in pain. His eyes blurred in front of him. The world spun. Then went completely black.

Luke had just landed the finishing blow with a kick to his lower back to sever his spinal column when he noticed the other men in the bar were crowding in. Not a single one of them happy that this cocky young punk had taken out three of their friends in less than twenty minutes.

The crowd was surging and Luke smirked. Adrenaline was rushing in his veins as he took up a defensive stance. He was ready to fight.

Somewhere off to the left of the bar Cage had been watching. At first in amusement, then in horror as Luke had single handedly taken out all three men. Not just that, he did it in the fastest yet cruelest way possible. He looked at the heap of men laying on the floor seeing heir broken bones and bloodied noses with a sigh. Pulling his phone from his pocket, he made a call, uncertain if he should interrupt the fight or let them duke it out.

"Yeah Boss. It's about your new friend. I think we might have a situation"

"How bad is it?" came the voice on the other line.

"Well, he took out three men at the start. Single handedly even."

There was a pause.

"What aren't you telling me?" Came the angry reply. Hunter hated secrets. He could tell Cage was holding something back.

"Well, it looks like it might be getting alot bigger than just the three...And the kid is drunk"

Cage had been reluctant to mention that. Hunter was a lot of things. Everyone knew he could be down right cruel but the one thing he never did, was involve women in his battles. It was partly because he couldn't trust them but also because a part of him could stand the thought of them getting hurt.

Luke was a different breed though. He wasn't sure where his boss stood in that regard. Girl or not.

"Boss..whats your order?" He finally asked.

"I'm on my way, for now, let her duke it out. She started it, let her finish it."

Hunter hadn't bothered to say goodbye. He just hung up the phone and headed out to meet Cage.

On the way down to the main floor though he came across Charlie.

Dammit. This night just couldn't get any better.
