30 Visit 4 God King Rymes

I immediately tear open a crack in space and walk through to enter the Realm of Gods and Demons

POV: God King Rymes

It's already been hundreds of thousands of years since I was born here in this godforsaken "paradise".

You may think that it is truly a paradise, where everything is perfect.

And yes, you're correct, it is perfect.

The problem is that...it's too perfect.

If you want something to eat, something naturally appears to fulfil your appetite.

If you want pleasure, then you can get pleasure.

If you want alone time, then you can get alone time.

There are no unpredictabilities about this place at all.

It's incredibly boring, going through the same daily routine.

Wake up, take a bath, eat, enjoy free time, have some sort of satisfaction be it massage, an intimate relationship or simply the satisfaction of accomplishing something, then eat dinner and then directly to bed.

A daily routine that never changed.

That is until we finally found something different from what we knew.

It was planets covered in barren lands, with hot glowing semi-liquids being poured out of the earth's crust. (*Cough* ...with hot white shining liquids being poured out of the shafts of the planets themselves *Cough*. Sorry, I just had to do this, since I'm incredibly bored and lonely. I should probably add another tag/warning to this story right away...)

We were all incredibly thrilled to find something that differed from the usual white sandy beaches with turquoise waters and temperatures ranging from 25-30 degrees. (Celsius)

A feeling of achievement rose inside our minds as we felt we had finally accomplished something.

We had finally accomplished our mission to find planets, that wasn't a "perfect" paradise.

For us, these planets we lived on up until now, have been a living hell.

Nothing exciting was happening after we got used to the life of a "paradise."

But, that feeling of accomplishment and achievement quickly subsided, as another hell began.

War.

War with what seemed to be the inhabitants of these planets.

Humanoid creatures with all different kinds of shapes and appearances.

Some didn't even have a humanoid figure but were more like beasts, that simply only knew how to slaughter.

But the most difficult thing for us, The Gods, to tackle, was the incredibly deep hatred we felt as soon as we saw said, creatures.

The hate felt like it came from the depths of our souls themselves.

It was such a weird feeling since we've never felt hate before.

Hate doesn't exist in a perfect paradise.

This feeling that we all got, was so uncomfortable.

It was almost to the point it was unbearable to even look at these creatures without wanting to cut them into pieces.

And what was peculiar, was that the hate for us in the eyes of these creatures seemed just as intense.

It was as if we were made to hate each other to the bones.

The hate between The Gods and The Demons, simply couldn't be reconciled, since the hate we felt towards each other was a part of our nature.

If we go forward to the present, the war has been ongoing for several eras.

Or in other words...a couple hundred thousand years.

Surprisingly, most of us Gods now enjoy the daily life of the battlefield more than the daily life in "paradise."

In the battlefield, we're able to release our stress, anger and frustration that we have been accumulating for so long.

But of course, not everything can be predictable.
