Chapter 364 - Finding New Sword Slaves ( 2 )

Their tribe has been hiding here in the forest and refrained from going out at all for the past few months.

It's not because they really like being here but because of the Dark Elves who had suddenly gone mad and started capturing a lot of Evil Beasts…

At first, they thought of fighting against them because of their pride and they have been the ruler of this forest for several decades.

Unfortunately, they have realized the difference in their strength after news of several Beast Tribes being annihilated or being captured completely came to their ears.

The Horned Lions of the Gorge, the Rainbow Serpents of the Wet Hill, the Treants of the Wasteland, the Wyverns of the Ice Plateau, the Lava Hounds at the Northern Volcano… These Evil Beast Tribes were either killed or taken captives and became slaves of the Dark Elves.

As far as they know, the captured slaves were sent to various newly built towns in some key places in this chaotic land to become their guards.

After learning all about this, they have decided to swallow their pride and hide here temporarily until everything calms down.

However, as they are enjoying their peaceful time, a human carrying a sinister Arcana visited their territory!

"Master… How are you going to make them your slaves?" Shiori asked as she ignored the Werewolves' questions.

"I think I can just try to Mark them like this." Reiji said as he considered the gap in their strength.

These Werewolves were no longer a challenge for him at his level. They might be difficult to deal with because of their regenerative abilities, but he knows that even with just Sword Kinesis with Sword Intent and Ember Raze, he has no need to worry about them.

Even Szaaz's corrosive ability is enough to deal with these beasts.

Without any more words, Reiji activated his Sword Slave Marker to the nearest Werewolf.

There are a total of 26 Werewolves here so Reiji didn't mind taking all of them. Anyway, with the weak Array Formation that they have, it's only a matter of time for them to be captured by the Dark Elves… It should be better if they can serve him instead.

Reiji didn't immediately use the Marker to everyone as he also wanted to see their reaction about this. Whether they have some hidden power that could resist his ability that has reached the maximum limit.

Thud!

"Master, I kneel before you."

The six feet tall Werewolf suddenly kneeled on the ground just three seconds after being Marked by his ability!

He barely resisted at all!

"Eh? So weak? I think it's not a good idea to make them my slaves after all."

Reiji commented after seeing this as he ignored the surprised gasps of the nearby Werewolves.

"Well, they are just weak against Mind Controlling Magic, Master. With your mark, I'm sure that it would cover this weakness instead." Szaaz explained as he's more knowledgeable about this.

On the other hand, the White Werewolves were already baring their fangs to Shiori as the others tried to pull up their companion.

"What did you do to him!"

"Jacob! What happened to you?! Stand up!"

"Why are you calling him your Master?!"

These Werewolves were using some form of magic to voice out their words. Well, it is normal since they aren't in the human form.

This is the difference between the Lycans and the Werewolves in the Chaotic Land. The Lycans were bipedal wolves and couldn't transform into a human at all.

On the other hand, Werewolves like this tribe are half-human half-wolves blessed by the Moon Deity as for the legend they heard.

Again, Reiji ignored these words as he decided to just Mark them all at once.

"Whew~ That was too tiring…" Reiji felt extremely tired after using up almost all his energy.

However, he still felt glad seeing the 26 Werewolves kneeling in front of them…

"I heard that Werewolves are capable of transforming into human form. Show it to me." Reiji immediately said. Well, this is very important since they will be accompanied by this group to Enetha Empire. They can't just walk around in their werewolf form.

"Yes, Master…"

Soon, twenty-six naked people stood beside the lake. Their bodies are all well-proportioned as expected of Werewolves who always have physical activities.

There are thirteen females and thirteen males. Their ages range from about 30 to 50 years old as far as Reiji could see.

"Hmmm… You guys are quite impressive. It only took you three seconds to transform? Anyway, that was quite a nasty transformation, I hope you don't show it to my disciples. It's gross."

"Yes, Master. We will keep it in mind." The werewolves immediately answered taking Reiji's words seriously.

"That's good to hear. But if they really like to see it, just let them be."

"Understood, Master."

Reiji didn't order them to get dressed as he asked several more questions. After a while, he learned almost everything about the strength and weaknesses of the Werewolves.

"They will be very useful… I did the right thing after all. Haha!" Reiji couldn't help but laugh after hearing everything from them.

The strongest in their group is the young Jacob who he marked first.

Jacob is a tanned man in his thirties and has long hair that reaches his waist… He also appears good-looking with a gentle aura, unlike the others who still have semblance in their horrifying werewolf form.

Because of this, Reiji decided that Jacob will be the representative of his Werewolves Slaves.

"Master… You seem happy, is it really good that they can also summon Arcana?"

Shiori asked curiously. Apparently, they learned that two Werewolves in the group were able to luckily summon Arcana after finding an abandoned altar with Arcane Stone on it. Unfortunately, after the two Werewolves tried summoning on that Arcane Stone, it suddenly shattered into pieces as it most likely reached the number of times that it can be used.

Anyway, they have summoned a Common Chisel Arcana and Rare Wand Arcana.

These items were the ones that allowed them to create an Array Formation that has protected them for a while.

"That's right, Shiori… They will become our asset.." Reiji said as he's already looking forward to the future.
