Chapter 59 - Testing Powers

Chapter 59: Testing Powers

“If you want to be taken to the security forces for s*xual molestation, do it, but I think you’re going to get a blow before that.”

Park Noah hissed and unhesitantly rammed her knee onto the man’s stomach. Puck. She grinned inwardly, satisfied at the sound. On the other hand, the man’s face contorted in pain.

“Ugh, what are you doing?”

His grip on her waist loosened and Park Noah immediately pushed his arms off her, taking a few steps away from him. As she beckoned Muell behind her, black flames which were about to engulf the air instantly dissipated.

“It hurts.” The man mumbled, a wrinkle appearing on his forehead.

“I kicked you because you’re sick, stupid.”

“What the hell happened in the last two years that your brain turned white and your mouth got rough?”

It was the same bewilderment that baffled Kyle Leonard. However, Park Noah was too worn out to spare an explanation. She embraced Muell and sat on the seat across the man.

Park Noah observed her surroundings. They were confined in a small cabin along with a wizard strong enough to intimidate Muell. She glanced outside the window and saw only shadows of tall trees. It was midnight. However, Park Noah took comfort in the fact that he was close to Eleonora Asil. Perhaps he was not too wicked of a man.

She thought of escaping the room; however, the man’s magic already took control of the door. Sighing, she realized it was a better choice to remain seated and rested after the exhaustion from climbing through a vent.

“Who are you really? Talk about your personal information such as name, age, occupation, everything.” Park Noah snapped despite fatigue numbing her body.

“Why me? Do you even know who you are?” He replied, staring at her with his doubtful eyes.

“Are you trying to make fun of me, or is the resentment from that day still lingering, or are you really turning your back and forgetting everything about me?” Or…”

“Or?”

“You’re a different person in Eleonora’s body…”

Park Noah could only stare at him in silence. His previous words claiming he knew Eleonora Asil more than anyone else, including Kyle Leonard, was not a lie after all. It took Kyle Leonard five days before suspicions began to irrupt, but the stranger across her took only less than five minutes.

“I am cautious about you. I’ll have to dig you first.”

As if the painful expression he wore was merely a facade, his contorted face relaxed. Motionless, he appeared like a gentle, rich young man. Yet when a smile lingers on his lips, he turns into a sweet seductive fellow. After scanning his appearance, Park Noah couldn’t estimate his age still.

“You are Eleonora Asil, right?” He asked, the tip of his fingers tapping his knee.

“That’s right.”

“You are Eleonora, but you lost your memory. May I check?”

“If it’s a way of not touching me, you can try.” Park Noah replied nonchalantly, stroking Muell’s soft curls.

As soon as permission fell from her lips, something without shape swung into the air. Whoosh!

Black flames rose from Muell’s hand and grew in an instant, devouring the man’s attack. Shadowed by black flames, the cabin was as dim as a blackhole. The flames destroyed every blade in a blink of an eye. Witnessing the sight, the man’s eyes narrowed.

At the same time, the provocation was more than half a gamble for Park Noah, too. There was only one reason why she could pretend to be Eleonora Asil and grant him permission to attack her.

As far as she knew, the late witch was deemed as the strongest witch in their world. In other words, no matter how powerful the man was, he couldn’t be at par with Eleonora Asil. Hence, if he was weaker than her, he was naturally no match against a dragon.

“Not enough? Then, I’m willing to attack you this time.” Park Noah smiled faintly, presuming her speculation was correct. She appeared calm, but frankly, she was nervous.

Muell’s magic rushed into her body, and her heart immediately started to thump vigorously. Pulps of sweat began to damp her skin, but fortunately, the man’s attention had shifted to Muell, who was seated on her lap.

“You said you don’t remember, but you picked up a strange toy from somewhere. No, did you make it yourself?” He asked in an interested tone.

“You’d better watch what you say. As I said before, my kid cries a lot.” She glanced at Muell, who glared at the man with his fiery eyes.

“Yes, I surrender. I apologize.”

“Thank you for your apology.”

“No intention to attack. What about you?”

“As long as you don’t pick a fight, I’ll stay still. The moment you do something stupid, you’ll be thrown out of this train.” Park Noah threatened.

She then leaned over and rummaged through the suitcase, which she had placed under her feet. And with a snap of a finger, a long rope flew out of the suitcase, wriggling as if a living creature. She clapped her hands and mumbled tiredly.

“But can’t the man who once aimed at me go after me twice?”

“….!”
