Chapter 621

“…continue.”

When the judge’s permission was given, the corners of Adrian’s lips drew an obvious arched line. His green eyes were directed exactly at her.

“I was keeping an eye on Eleonora Asil for the last five days, from May 2nd to May 7th.”

“What? Hey, when did you…”

‘Ah, yeah, he did. Because he and I were on the same train from Lunazel to Butuanu…’

While she was at a loss for words, Adrian continued smoothly.

“There is a high level of purity in Eleonora Asil’s unique ability to apply magic in a negative direction. The effects of pure magic, when it emerges near-infinite dragon magic, are added up to an unmeasurable level. Even the defendant herself doesn’t know how to handle the dragon’s mana properly.”

‘That crazy guy? He confessed that?’ While Noah stared at him in absurdity, Adrian shrugged his shoulders.

“It seems that being cooped up in Sorrent for the past two years has caused problems with her magical abilities. It seems that she tried to make up for it by stealing the dragon egg, but it didn’t seem to work out the way she wanted. Ah, just like now.”

Noah was surprised and took her hand off the desk. There was a crack exactly where she had touched the desk. In addition, when Noah looked up at the noise coming from above, the chandelier hanging from the ceiling was shaking uneasily. She was surprised and thought hard.

‘Don’t think about anything. Don’t break anything, don’t make an accident…’

Relax. Calm down. Noah tried to empty her head, as she tried to recall the beautiful, lazy life she had in Sorrent. But the effort was for naught when Muel, who felt her flustered state, began to move.

“……!”

The railing Muel was holding onto turned into fine sawdust in an instant and fluttered in the courtroom. Noah could see the emperor becoming alarmed as he quickly stepped back.

While the escorts guarding the emperor were shocked and surrounded the emperor, Muel immediately jumped to the first floor.

Kwang.

A roar and vibrations shook the courtroom, it was unimaginable that it came from a small child.

The stenographer sitting in the middle of the courtroom pushed away from the typewriter and ran away in fear. Kyle’s face was astonished while Adrian was still relaxed.

“Muel!”

Without further thought, Noah jumped up, climbed over the desk, and walked quickly to the center of the courtroom. As soon as she picked up Muel, Adrian began to move as well.

“Calm down, quiet down!”

The sound of the judge’s shouts was buried under the sound of the audience as they screamed and tried to escape. Noah’s expression became grim, she gestured at Kyle who was about to come her way to stop, and glared at Adrian.

“Stalker, what are you doing? Are you going to put me in jail?”

“No way.”

Muel’s mana began to circle threateningly. When Noah saw Adrian’s calm face, something jolted inside her.

A similar wave of emotion struck her a few days ago when Noah had encountered Lenia in the basement of the Bureau of Investigation and Security.

‘So annoying.’

“Shall I just kill him?”

Muel, who was hugging her neck, whispered. It was a sweet and tempting offer. Adrian, who was looking at her face, smiled as if he knew what Noah was thinking. He pressed her forehead with his finger.

“You’re on the verge of letting the dragon blow up your head.” *

“What…?”

Noah quickly came to her senses at Adrian’s words. Whilst Noah blinked because of embarrassment, Adrian threw something to her feet and flicked his finger.

An intangible barrier surrounded Noah and Adrian and her back slammed against the transparent and hard wall. It wasn’t just a wall barrier, it was a trap.

“Ah…!”

Adrian Rosinel, this goddamn guy grabbed Noah by her shoulder whilst her and Muel’s concentration was unstable and forced her to sit down. Noah’s vision dimmed and she sat down with a thump. Noah gritted her teeth and spat out.

“What is this? What did you do?”

“Just a temporary measure. And what we need to do now is…”

Adrian, who pressed Noah’s shoulder with his knee to stop her, snatched her right wrist. Click. With the eerie sound of the lock, Noah’s wrist became heavy. The black mana that surrounded Adrian’s back shook for a moment and then wavered on the floor next to her instead.

Without batting an eye, Adrian grabbed her neck with his hands and whispered.

“Have you heard of suppressor restraints?”
