30 Chapter Twenty-Nine

"Bu-bu-but no!" Laufey threw his hands in the air, before stamping his feet, "This isn't fair! I was supposed to win! Me! Not you! Me! Years of wallowing in depression, to finally come up with a loop hole around your stupid ass Asgardian laws, just to have you stop me! No! I will not accept it, I must win."

Thor held his hands up, his chest wobbling as he struggled to contain his laughter, "Woah, chillax bro, just go home and plan out a new way to destroy us."

"But how am I supposed to do that?"

Loki shrugged his shoulders, "That's for you to figure out.''

Laufey pointed his long blue finger at Loki, "Don't even get me started on you boy."

Loki looked point blank offended, "Me? What did I do wrong?"

Ashleigh snorted before turning to me, "Well creating a blizzard in the middle of the city doesn't exactly help what he just said.''

I waved her off, "Shhhh, I'm trying to listen." 

"You Loki were prophesied to be the cause of Asgard's downfall, you were mean to be the most evil Norse God, you who contained so much power, were made so much more powerful with our ice injections into your blood.''

A deathly violent glare crossed over Loki's face, "You injected me with ice?"

"Why of course we did, how else would you of been able to summon a blizzard then?"

That's when I'd had enough, despite Ashleigh shouting for me to stop, I stormed out from behind the building.

"You motherfucker!" I pointed at Laufey, "You literal piece of shit! First of all you kill my recently ex-boyfriend, then you kidnap me and my friends, experiment on me, make a clone of me, then experiment on my new boyfriend slash guy that lives with me slash Norse god?"

Laufey stared blankly at me, "Uh yeah, that's what I did.''

"And you think that you have the right to chuck a hissifit?"

"Uh yeah."

"Excuse me," Loki butted in, "Ingrid you just called me your 'new boyfriend' does that mean we're an, what do you guys call it, an 'item'?"

I stared at him, "Loki not right now.''

"Ingrid, yes right now."

"I said in the heat of the moment, I was in the rage zone, I wasn't filtering what was coming out of my mouth and you know sometimes things just slip out and you don't really know if you really me-"

I was cut off abruptly by Loki crushing his lips onto mine. I fell into his embrace, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Ew get a room.'' Ashleigh emerged from behind the building.

I hastily pulled away from Loki, blush running up my cheeks.

There was a tense silence. Followed by a blinding blue light.

Then there was nothing...

Hahaha gotcha, after the blinding light, Laufey, the frost giants and their giant ship were gone.

Ashleigh turned away from the now vacant space, "Well that was anticlimactic." 

Thor scratched his head. "Yeah, now we have to clean up their mess. We should've made them do it, make it a part of the deal that we proposed."

"Can't you just bibbity boppity boo it?" I asked.

"Whata what what?" Both Loki and Thor said in unison.

Ashleigh translated it for the brothers, "Um magic the shit out of it so that it all gets cleaning up?"

"We cannot simply magic it, don't worry, we will have it done in a matter of minutes. Plus we need to wipe the memories of this out of the minds of the Midgardians. Make it seem like a freak hurricane."

"We call hurricane's cyclone's here in Australia, it a bit weird because it basically the sa-"

I cut Ashleigh off, "Wipe our memories?!"

Loki took my hands into his, "Not yours, you have earned the right to remember this, to remember when you saved not just my life but many other people lives."

I smiled up at him, unclasping the necklace that Odin had given me and held it out to Thor.

"Tell your father, thank you for the necklace."

He held his hands up in defence, "Father said to tell you to keep it, as a gift for helping us win."

I flashed him a smile, and placed the necklace back around my neck.
