I turn around and start walking away from the ship.

"Ingrid.'' I heard a familiar voice call out.

I turned to where I heard the voice. There standing right in front of me was Jason.

"Jason!" I said startled.

"Look, I know I'm probably the last person you want to see right now.''

I laughed dryly pushing past him, "You got that part right.''

"Ingrid, please hear me out.''

I spun around staring straight into his eyes. "Why should I?"

"Just please hear me out.'' His eyes were pleading like his voice.

I crossed my arms, "Fine.''

"Look I know you could probably never forgive me for what I've said, and for what I've done. But I'm sorry.''

"You're sorry?''

"Yes! I was a total prick! An asshole! I know I don't deserve your forgiveness. But I have a feeling things are going to start to get worse and I just needed to tell you that I'm sorry.''

"Okay, Jason. You know I can't hold grudges.''

"I know, I know. But you don't have to forgive me. I deserve to be hated. It was wrong of me to assume things! And I know that I don't deserve your forgiveness, I never will.''

"Oh, Jason." I softened my expression, "Of course I forgive you.''

I gave him a hug. Slowly he put his arms around me too. I pulled away.

"Look why don't we start over again,'' I held out my hand, "hi I'm Ingrid.''

He took my hand and shook it,"I'm Jason. A devilishly handsome idiot who likes cheese.''

I pretended to sneeze, "Sorry allergic to the bullshit about you being devilishly handsome.''

"Hey,'' he elbowed me.

"What? It's the truth.''

"Ahahahaha."

"So,'' I nudged him, "how you dealing with this sudden winter?"

"Umm, I don't really know how to feel about it. But I do feel like running around singing Let It Go, while dressed up as Elsa.''

I laughed so hard I snorted, which made him laugh, "I would love to see that.'' I told him.

He started to run and impersonate a ballerina.

"Let it go!!! Let it go!!!! Can't hold it back anymore!"

I laughed.

He lay down in the snow and started  to make a snow angel. I joined in next to him. He sat up suddenly, turning to  face me.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?" He asked.

''Ah, no.''

He stood up frowning, "You're no fun.''

I didn't think much of it until it beamed brighter, spreading all around the ship. I frowned.

"Ingrid what is it?" He quizzed.

"The light on the ship, it's changing. It shouldn't do anything. Loki handed himself over. So we should be fine but I have this feeling inside of me that something is about to turn around and plunge us into hell.''

"Wait. Loki was the one that thing was asking for?''

"Yes.'' My eyes never left the beam, though they did start to water and one tear escaped and trailed down my cheek leaving a freezing sensation upon my cheek.

"Oh, okay. I didn't realize, oh Ingrid I'm so sorry, if I had of known I wouldn't of mentioned it.''

I wiped the tear away quickly, "It doesn't matter, I'm just worried about what that lazer means.''

Just as I said that everything changed.

The beam started shot out and it extended over the entire city at about a metre high.

"Get down!" I screamed.

But it was too late.

I flung myself back to the ground, I was facing Jason but he stood there.

He hadn't heard what I said.

The beam shot out a substance of blue shots. It hit everyone who was above one metre.

Including Jason.

"I-I don't understand.'' He mumbled.

The blue spread from his stomach around his entire body freezing him. I spun around frantically, looking to everyone else who had been hit. They were all frozen.

I put my hands on my head sitting up.

What was happening?

How could this of happened?

"Jason!!!" I screamed.
