As I stood by the tap waiting for the water to heat up, so I could put a  washer on Loki's face to cool his fever down, when I heard Loki retch again. I quickly walked fast over to him and placed my hand on his arm.

"Aww, sweetie are you okay?" I asked as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"I don't really know, I've never felt this type of sensation." he told me slowly.

I walked back over to the sink and grabbed the washer and put it under the water, quickly soaking and wringing it out. I rushed back over to his side and placed it on his forehead. I dabbed it lightly on his head while he threw up again.

He grabbed my wrist, and looked into my eyes, "You seriously are too caring sometimes." He told me.

I smiled at him, "No Loki, I'm just returning the favour you looked after me when I was sick.''

"But I was returning the favour of you letting me stay with you Ingrid."

I rolled my eyes, "But your my friend Loki, its what friends do. They look out for each other.''

He smiled at me then threw up some more. I kept dabbing the washer on his face, until I heard a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" I called out.

"I've got a delivery for Ingrid Lastensture.'' I heard a man call out.

"I'll be back." I told Loki as I stood up and walked over to the door.

I opened it and was face to face with a bunch of flowers, and behind those was Jason. He gave me he sheepish smile and held  the flowers out to me.

"Sorry?" He asked.

I slammed the door in his face.

He kept on knocking, "Come on Ingrid open up.''

I breathed heavily staring blankly at the door, my eyes not allowing the tears that were forming to fall.

"Ingrid please just let me have my say, I was foolish, stupid and a complete prat.''

"Who's there?" I  heard Loki manage to call out.

"No one," I whispered.

"Ingrid for gods sake just  hear me out!"

I walked over to Loki, "I'll be back." I told him.

As I walked away he reached out and grabbed my wrist, "Ingrid, be strong." Then he let me go.

I walked to the door then opened it, but closed it immediately behind me when I got outside.

I took a deep breath, crossed my arms and stared straight into his eyes.

"What do you want?" I asked.

He placed the flowers on the ground and reached out to grab my right arm but I shoved him away.

He nodded, "I just want to say sorry, I was a dick, jealous, a total prick and I should've acted more maturely then what I did."

He threw them aside, grabbed my shoulders and walked forward gently pushing me against the wall next to the door. He placed his hands right beside my head, pining me to the wall.

"No, this changes everything."

He pressed his lips against mine. I almost fell into his embrace.

Almost.

I slapped him straight and hard in his face.

"If you ever try that stunt again,'' I breathed faster, "I swear it'll be much worse then a slap.''

I went to walk away, but he grabbed my wrist. Just as he spun me around, his grip slipped and he fell to the ground.

"God I've been waiting to do that." Ashleigh appeared where Jason was just standing.

I smiled at her as she grabbed my arm and pulled me away to the door. I heard Jason groan in pain, and I glanced over my shoulder.

"That should be a good warning about messing with my bestie." Ashleigh told Jason.

We walked inside, back to the sounds of Loki's constant vomiting. I walked over to him and knelt down beside his head.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

He nodded, "Are you?" He asked me with concerned eyes.

"I'm fine, but Ashleigh is going to look after you for a while, while I go have a shower. Okay?" I asked him.

He smiled in reply, I lent over and kissed his forehead. Then walked away towards my bathroom.

As I walked past Ashleigh, I looked at her devilish and childish smile.

"Not a word." I told her sternly.

She just shrugged her shoulders and giggled.
