6 Chapter Five

I was allowed to leave the hospital about a week after I awoke. Both Ashleigh and Loki barely left my side and Ashleigh insisted that she took me back to my apartment, (the window had been replaced). As I sat in the car my phone buzzed in my phone.

Jason: Guess who awaits within your apartment

Me: How'd you get in?

Jason: Baby you gave me a key.

Oh did I forget to mention, Jason is my boyfriend, we'd been dating for about six months now. I guess with everything going on it didn't really cross my mind and he'd been in Antarctica for a month studying penguins.

Me: Well on our way.

Jason: Don't take to long ;)

Me: Also I have a new temporary roommate, and it's a he.

Jason: As long as he doesn't steal my baby-girl it fine with me.

Me: Naw don't even think that way we are just friends

Jason: That's what they always say.

Me: Sweetie I will talk to you about it when I see you.

Jason: Okay, hurry up tho.

I turned to Ashleigh, "Jason says to hurry up."

"It's not my fault that Brisbane traffic is hectic." She huffed.

"Who is this Jason?" Asked Loki.

I turned to face him, "My partner."

"Oh!" Exclaimed Loki.

"They are so adorable."

I turned back to Ashleigh, "Says the one dating a model."

Her face turned so red, "Shut-up." She mumbled.

Then we fell into silence once again.

The elevator was squeaky and like always rather slow, even though mine was the lowest of the six story building.

Once we actually reached my floor I hobbled over to my door and unlocked it.

It looked exactly the same as before but Jason stood right in the middle of the room. He wore denim shorts, blue shirt and normal canvas shoes. His bright blue eyes illuminated his aqua dyed hair. He walked straight up to me and hugged me very tightly so that I couldn't breathe very well.

"I missed you bubby." He whispered into my ear.

"I missed you too.'' I managed to wheeze out with what little oxygen was left in my lungs.

He released me, "Sorry." He said sheepishly.

"It okay."

Then he pressed his mouth against mine. He tasted like bubble gum and coke.

I heard the sound of a throat clearing, "There are people here." Coughed Ashleigh.

"Oh says the one who makes out with their girlfriend in front of me."

Her face turned so red once again.

"I'm not so injured that I can't manage on my own." I huffed, "anyway I'll have Loki as a back-up."

Jason walked up to Loki and shook his hand,

"You'd better take care of my baby girl while I'm not here."

"Absolutely sir, you can count on Loki.'' Ashleigh twittered.

"I am Loki of Asgard and I am burdened with glorious purpose." Loki said empoweringfullly.

Yes that is now a word, the emgwish of myself is phenomenal. I create many words for a genius girl.

"So, I'm Jason of Brisbane and I am burdened with this amazingly smart, gorgeous girl." He gestured to me.

I cleared my throat, "Who you calling a girl?''

"Fine then intelligent young woman."

A very long awkward silence followed, the only thing heard was our slow breathing.

"Who wants to watch a movie?" Asked Jason breaking the muteness.

"Which one?" I asked

"Let's watch Batman." Ashleigh stated.

"Which one?" Jason asked.

"Dark knight rises."

"Okizay."

We spent the rest of the day and night watching batman until we fell asleep.
